Appearance

Reginald stands tall with good posture and is lean. His hair is golden and his skin is fair. He is prone to burning and when he works out in the sun his skin will quickly become red and will peel for days.

Personality

Usually Reginald is very stoic and polite, offering kind words and genuinely warm smiles as he speaks. He carries himself like the true embodiment of a noble paladin. This, however, is a hard task, and often Reginald will let this slip and a grumbling, catty persona peeks through.
It's common for Reginald to keep to himself or disengage from conversations prematurely as he finds himself struggling to properly portray the image of a paladin that he has conjured up in his mind. Despite the conflict he has created for himself, once you get through the paladin armor, and passed the little shit that's under the armor you can find a true friend. Reginald will playfully tease friend who he thinks can handle it and will do all he can to help someone in need that he cares for.

Quick History

The second of two sons growing up on a farm in Gridania, Reginald lived a decently sheltered childhood. His father was, for many years, a Sultansworn, living in U'ldah, his brother soon followed suit. Reginald stayed at home and worked on the farm with his mother growing plants and raising small livestock. In his youth he would frequently fall ill which kept him from being reliable enough to work as a Sultansworn.
As he grew older Reginald partially overcame the regular headaches and nausea. He set out to stay hand-to-hand fighting and worked the underground fighting circuit for several years until his career hit an abrupt stop. He then took what sword skills he knew and his father's old armor and went to become a sword for hire. During down time for such jobs he tries his hand at mining, though he doesn't have an eye for it.

Affiliations

Chaska Dakwhil - Sweet, kind, and a good person through and through. She's a bit odd, but aren't all Miqo'te?
Staelufre Lysmerl - A bit crazy, but someone who comes across as deeper than that. He's still figuring her out but feels she is worth the effort of doing so.
Sigurd Rainecourt - A gentleman around his own age. Smart and well liked by their company. Wishes to remain in good standing with him.
Jancis Milburga - A very lovely person. Very much adored by those in the company and seems to have a high opinion of him. He refuses to fall out of her favor and will do what he can to remain a knight in her eyes.
Ehla Selhah - Baked him a pie and insulted him, but also called him the cutest at a social event. Miqo'te are odd.
A'rho Tia - Slightly less weird Miqo'te, but calls him Reginoot. Nice enough guy.
A'randr Tia - Met only briefly. Can talk about how people look.

Rumours

COMMON RUMOURS
- Quite handy with a sword and shield. A good man to take on a potentially dangerous excursion.
- He mines, but he doesn't seem to bring back much more than rocks.

UNCOMMON RUMOURS
- For a while a few years back he worked the underground fighting circuit. He did pretty well for a while, too!
- From time to time he gets sick and needs to stop all he's doing and lay down. He complains of headaches, nausea, and blurred vision.

RARE RUMOURS
- He isn't allowed back in the underground fighting circuit because he had been caught cheating. The exact means vary from person to person, but it boils down to something dishonest that he would do to put the fight in his favor.
- He has complained about hearing voices when there were none.
