"I feel kinda bad for her. She's so nice and she tries so hard to make everyone around her actually happy she forgets all about herself. And she's proof that the world forgets about people like her, too. It doesn't matter how good she is, she still gets the short end of the stick." —— Augustine Frost

THE PAST

Storybooks tell often compelling tales of peace and tranquility and some with a jaded perspective are unable to believe them. Before there were times of hardship, there were times of simplicity and ignorant bliss. Trisselle grew up in a world where she believed nothing would go wrong. And if one were to be truly frank about it, she existed in her own world of dreams, pretend, and unrealistic achievements. Every day was a joyful routine and the phrase that implied good things always came to an end was one unknown to her. She had her parents, her friends, her people, and needed nothing more. Without interference, her life was a comfortable one, and she was too naive to understand otherwise.

The Calamity brought with it atrophy of lives, families, the clan in general, and all people affected by its catastrophic wave of destruction. Yet Trisselle was fortunate, for she neither suffered the loss of her family, nor was she separated from them. What she endured was the confusion, the lack of age and comprehension of why things had turned out as they had. For her special world of proverbial rainbows and all things good had evolved drastically into shadow and darker days. And in her childhood, she remembered wondering if perhaps they might never recover, for the agony and misery of the less fortunate left a permanent imprint on her mind.

For the protection of their kind, they left behind their homes in darkness, forced to make new ones in the Twelveswood. Trisselle left behind a good deal of her innocent outlook, forced to grow up a little quicker than a child should have had to. With that, however, came the desire to better protect herself and she grew to be the recipient of a rather blessed and privileged lifestyle, resulting in good tutelage and a proper education. Yet any of the changes and challenges she did face were the same as the others she knew and a part of her remained reassured by the very concept that she confronted nothing alone. In time, lands healed, and hearts as well. Memories were not forgotten, but rather those who survived forged alliances and kinships stronger than in dates passed.

Trisselle, still young, sheltered, and naive in many ways, made the seemingly brash decision that she could not keep herself holed away so much from the rest of the world. For while their people began to remake their lives and learn to dream again, she thought her hands put to better use in favour of aiding others. Against the protest of her loving parents, she pleaded for their blessing and unable to turn her down for she had requested nothing prior in her life, they reluctantly granted her leave. Although as she packed few things to begin her own journey, her parents reminded her to visit home often, and that if the world turned against her, she always had a safe haven to return to.

THE PRESENT

Trisselle works for an affiliation known as the Coral Sea, provided 'work' is the word to be used for just such a circumstance. She helps out when she's able to and considers many members of the association to be close and important to her.

Not particularly public knowledge, Trisselle is with child, an experience that she has a difficult time getting accustomed to (and likely won't). Personal relationships are somewhat complicated, especially where her family and traditions are concerned. There are whispers of a wedding on the horizon, but at the moment, they're merely spoken words.

Under the watchful eye of a man named Idristan, Trisselle's lifestyle is reported to her family, something she seeks to change with her impending marriage. Having previously renounced her title as 'priestess' at the Sanctum in the Twelveswood, she's under pressure from both her parents and Idristan to return to what she's good at and where they feel she belongs.

THE HYUR PLOT

Opened Date: January 16
Closed Date: March 03

Naivety and good intentions often resulted in poor choices made and on Trisselle's part, 'poor' was nothing short of an understatement. Plagued by a dream that presented the ideal of a different life under a different guise, she was consumed by thoughts of the future. Convening with Lily, Aerius, and Master Garrett, they discussed the power that the gods held—or lack thereof—and it was Aerius and his words of wisdom that Trisselle found she could not disagree with, along with validity from both Garrett and Lily. That unlike Damien, Garrett could not put much faith into Fate itself or preordained actions that led from one to another. And Lily with a cautious reminder that perhaps such dependence should not be placed upon the deities, regardless of their abilities. But that a future should have been paved itself.

Trisselle's desire to lead a life that didn't involve the strict traditions of her family or kind motivated her with the sound idea of taking on a temporary form—a Hyur. An idea that had already been born prior, but only set in motion with the inadvertent encouragement of people she called friends. Well off by the graces of her privileged lifestyle, she sought the assistance of a magister in the darker arts of Thanalan and requested an object of immense rarity: a potion that cryptically promised to grant her a new life as a new person. And upon taking it, she changed entirely, keeping only certain features that connected her to the Elezen she formerly was.

And while her knowledge of her prior experiences and studies remained intact, she lost her connection to Nature and with it, the abilities she was once so confident in. Left behind was an ungraceful Hyur girl who would have to regain who she was—if indeed, such a thing could be done. Over one month passed and Garrett Sancsaron kept true to his word. With what appeared to be many nights without sleep or rest, the man refused to settle until he was able to create a cure for her, one he fashioned from her blood directly. Yet he found himself successful and it was by his graces that she was able to regain who she once was. But just because she had been saved was no proof that she better understood the nature of people and their value being more than simply a skin's surface.

Certainly it would require time to see if Trisselle truly harnessed the understanding of a person's entirety.

ABOUT THE GIRL - PHYSICAL
Gender: Female Race: Elezen Clan: Duskwight Citizenship: Gridania
Hair Colour: Black Eye Colour: Dark Grey Skin Colour: Blue Grey Dexterity: Left-Handed
Height: 6 fulms, 4 ilms     Weight: 162 ponz

Her features are undoubtedly young, though the specific number of her age is left to be questioned as it's information she appears to have no plans of divulging. Yet based on her behaviour and how she carries herself, it's a safe assumption that she has a good deal of youth behind her. Her smiles are often small and subtle, frequently bashful and often on the verge of 'meek,' but in contrast her oft direct tone makes it difficult to pinpoint what type of person she is.

She is about average height for a female Elezen and her physique is smaller than likely what's expected, implying her overactive lifestyle in combination with her eating habits may not be particularly compatible. She is not and does not look physically strong, but she has noticeable muscle mass in her arms and legs. The key trait she feels stands out most is the flourish black brands that cross over each eye. Her face houses a few lighter scars and while it's not something shown, she also holds two large scars across her right set of ribs.

From head to toe, Trisselle looks proper. Her taste in garb and style is not something she considers unique, and rather she tends to attempt fitting in better with what she believes society would define as contemporary. She has a particular fondness for tailored doublets, tunics, gaskins, and simple shoes, as opposed to robes or cowls. Comfort and practicality seem to be held in a higher esteem than physically appealing wear. She contradicts it a little, however, with the concept that regardless of the outfit, she holds a distinct likeness for earrings, bracelets, and rings.

ABOUT THE GIRL - PERSONALITY

Trisselle's etiquette and well-mannered demeanour is likely the outstanding trait she holds. While many of the Duskwight have gained a reputation for thievery and less than good intentions, she is—in some ways—very different from how the stereotype has been painted. Yet in others, she maintains and respects traditions and an older style of how things have been done (or should be done) by her kind.

While polite and often friendly, it is uncharacteristic of her to be verbose or long-winded when she speaks. She prefers to listen, to observe, and occasionally can portray herself as too diplomatic, terse, or professional, indicating that she's not had a lot of exposure to people outside of her family and childhood friends. She does not make a habit of mingling with crowds and consequently gets easily overwhelmed or anxious in the company of a great number of people. Yet it's something she attempts to remedy by occasionally putting herself in situations that require her to be social or to be in the midst of many.

She is not very open about her past or who she is as a person, yet she has little difficulty discussing her passion: flowers. Naturally secretive like other Duskwight, she can easily come off as someone with ulterior motives, despite the idea that she is more likely to be accepting of things her kind normally wouldn't be. She is rather evasive when it comes to topics she doesn't care to dive into, but lacks the ability to create a smooth transition in order to avoid said subjects.

Trisselle tries to be honest to a fault, though if possible, she attempts to maintain tact and respect, regardless of the situation. In other words, concepts like anger are difficult to notice in her, as she tends to be more or less optimistic and sympathetic to the needs of others, as opposed to pessimistic, blatant, or possibly insensitive. Some could say she tries too hard to be respectful and it wouldn't necessarily be an inaccurate statement. But her intentions are good and she tries to convey that with both her colloquial speech and her actions.

She postures a lot, or so would say Augustine Frost, and he's not inaccurate. Trisselle tends to try to be the person everyone wants her to be, if only because she hasn't lived much of a life that's granted her the ability to find her own way. Consequently, her inability to please everyone can cause her to brood and judge herself more harshly than necessary. Although her intentions are meant well, sometimes she does not understand how insulting they are to others, a flaw she is working on.

FAMILY
  • Vairemont Ganathain - Father
The epitome of traditional, Vairemont is a collected and composed man, not prone to emotional outbursts. His subtly emotive mannerisms are something Trisselle inherited, among others, through the desire to emulate him. He is a well-rounded individual and prior to meeting Nellaure had a great fondness for traveling. He cares little for society and possesses a vanity to be expected from a stereotypical Elezen. Although he was hesitant about it, he permitted Trisselle the opportunity to mingle with outside races and respects her need to be an individual as well as her pursuit of knowledge. It is with thanks to his entrepreneur background and charisma that Trisselle can live as comfortably as she does. The lack of luxuries in his personal life has allowed him to grant her a good tutelage and her entry into the priesthood. He is protective, but not over protective, and maintains a mostly understanding viewpoint of Trisselle's various plights—when she keeps him informed.
  • Nellaure Ganathain - Mother
Like Vairemont, Nellaure has a distinct respect for the 'old world' culture and ways. A practitioner of thaumaturgy, she put down her studies of magic when she conceived Trisselle. Unable to feel fully sated in her life experiences, she is pushy and oft transparently unhappy with aspects of her life that she missed out on, resulting in a great deal of pressure placed on Trisselle to accomplish the things that she personally could not. While she is more emotionally open, she is also brash, at times irrational, and possesses an underhanded cleverness that Trisselle would liken to Augustine and Stefan. Although she does not approve of Trisselle's independence, she reluctantly tolerates it under the accord that Trisselle spends her free time in the Twelveswood (read: where she belongs). Nellaure wants and demands the best for her daughter, resulting in an oppressive atmosphere disguised as maternal protection.

AFFILIATIONS
"Enigmatic and brooding, Aerius is a man I know better than to trifle with. He fills me with a curiosity that he never bothers to sate and with him, I feel I am in an ever constant state of paranoia and uncertainty."
Aerius had originally hand-picked Trisselle as a potential mate for Garrett Sancsaron and was responsible for bringing Master Garrett's romantic inclination to Trisselle's attention. He has watched her suffer through her internal struggles and reminded her to come to him if she should need aid. Sometimes he can be insensitive and too light of heart for her tastes. Trisselle holds a fondness for him that dives past friendship, but she respects him too much to pursue it, and rather would prefer it if he'd pair up with Lily romantically. His dislike for Stefan is a sentiment that has yet to die and has only increased since he's learned of the courtship he holds with Trisselle.
"He says I know him well already and I suppose I do. I am not blind to Augustine's faults, but somewhere in all of that ocean of bad, there is a kindness that stirs me."
An acquaintance that became much more than she anticipated. It wasn't until Augustine began courting Garrett [Slater] that she took an interest in him. Getting to know the man of whispered rumours and the man beneath them, Trisselle acknowledges Augustine is not a good person entirely. He has questionable methods and almost always serves an ulterior motive. Despite this, they formed a bond of trust with one another that ultimately had a hand in Augustine ending his relationship with Garrett (much to her protesting and dismay). The child she carries is Augustine's, a happenstance that began as mortification and somehow became an idea he grew to hold dear. He asked her to marry him, to which after much indecision, Trisselle agreed, effectively wedging a wall between her and Stefan and any future they may have had together. She loves Augustine, but she isn't in love with him, implying that much of her agreement is on the basis of obligation versus heart.
"I never forget his words of me or the way he had me wrapped about his forefinger. For a first foray into courting, he has left me infinitely skeptical and wary of all people seeking my affections."
He was a handsome face and that was undeniable. Trisselle was charmed by him upon their first meeting, which she still has a hard time admitting to. He held her under a great deal of pressure for what he was entitled to by courting her. Uncompromising and stubborn, they clashed and he revealed that he thought she was a 'waste of time.' When he threatened to strike her, he set her on an unending fear that continues to haunt her to the present day. Although he later sought her out in Ul'dah for forgiveness, she declined from giving it to him and instead told him he had to earn such a privilege back.
"A woman of a clear-cut strength and easy to respect, Dhemgeim is both frightening and heartwarming. Sort of like an older sister, if I knew what one was."
The second in command to Renaud in the Coral Sea. Dhemgeim is a woman with a good deal of wisdom behind her, and deep stories and experiences. Trisselle is actually very fond of her, but when she felt she had to hide Stefan's wrongdoings, Dhemgeim was clear with her disappointment. Although she walks with caution around the Roegadyn, Dhemgeim is extremely protective over her, kind, understanding, and seems to have left a familial imprint on Trisselle.
"Seemingly brazen, it was easy for me to see she held affections for Master Garrett the first time they reunited. When I see them together, I think of childhood faerietales."
A childhood friend of Master Garrett's. Despite knowing her very little, Trisselle went to her rescue during the infamous contract job for Aerius given by Stefan. When she went away for personal affairs at the beginning of the First Umbral Moon of the First Astral Year, Master Garrett told her that Emeralda had kissed him, leaving him confused as to where his romantic inclinations for her (and Trisselle) were concerned. While most potential romantic partners would have likely felt a great deal of disdain, Trisselle believed that Emeralda was a better fit for Garrett.
"Master Garrett... is a well of wishes and could-have-been's. Undoubtedly I cared for the man and I assume a part of me continues to. But his indecision turned me away, whether he intended to or not. Sometimes I feel as if he abandoned me entirely and never truly meant to give me a chance."
A defining point in Trisselle's past. Unaware that she was a pawn to be paired up with him, Trisselle did not respond favourably when she discovered his romantic inclination for her. Although he was a kind man, he was also unassertive and a great deal pessimistic (sometimes sharing introverted traits with Trisselle), and a Hyur, causing Trisselle to reassess her values in tradition of the Duskwight people and her family. Even though she eventually reciprocated feelings for him, his seemingly on-going relationships with both Emeralda Baker and Caelia Isularie on a romantic level led her to believe that Master Garrett was simply manipulating her. He disappeared without a trace without giving any form of closure on their relationship. She once harboured a great amount of disdain for him, but to this day she continues to speak of him with a good deal of respect.
"If I was the princess, then Garrett was the prince. He was likely speaking in jest, but above all things, I trusted him to come for me if I should have fallen into danger."
Trisselle was born to a family with no other children, but the feelings she holds for Garrett are equivalent to that of a sister for a brother. They share many similar viewpoints on the righteousness of society (or lack thereof) as well as lifestyles and respects for traditions and parental units. She had a very poor habit of meddling in his relationship with Augustine and as much as she didn't want it to be so, was only one of many reasons the two split up. Although she would protect him if he needed it, she understands and respects that not being upfront with him about Augustine's wrongdoings (and hers) was an immense betrayal. Despite the idea that Garrett cares very little for her, she holds the utmost of respect for him as an individual.
"Charming. Beautiful. Elegant. Giselle is everything I am and then more. Mayhap I should be more akin to her..."
A Wildwood Elezen, Giselle is the first one Trisselle has met that she earnestly likes. Giselle is sometimes loud and obnoxious, but has a good sense of humour and is excellent at listening. Somewhat aware of Trisselle's poor history where romance is concerned, Giselle suggested Trisselle turn her attention onto women instead of men (with some agreement from Dhemgeim as well). Trisselle often finds herself charmed by Giselle's companionship and frequently doesn't know how to interpret her niceties. Beyond her admiration, there's an envy that Trisselle feels that being more like Giselle could potentially be beneficial to her.
"When I look into her eyes, I see an endless pool of mystery. Stories talk of women who could enchant others with a simple gaze. Lily is good through and through, and sometimes I think she could be the very key to saving Eorzea's entirety."
Lily's demeanour has often led Trisselle to believing that she is the woman Trisselle ought to grow to be. It has taken a good deal of time, circumstance, patience, and educational talks for Trisselle to understand that Lily's path is different from hers. Lily represents a quiet strength and modesty that radiates such a purity that it seems to put Trisselle's to shame. In the present day, Trisselle sees her rarely, an unfortunate happenstance that affects the Duskwight more than she's even aware of. She sets Lily on an unreachable pedestal, but holds a respect for her that has no value that can be assigned.
"The woman seems brash and loud, far different from my calculating and quiet nature. I have never known what to think of her, but I have this intuition that says she will quite possibly ruin me."
Lyse is the most intimidating person Trisselle has ever met. Not because of her height or just how in control of things she seems to be, but because she is so remarkably capable that Trisselle feels a great deal insignificant when standing beside her. Lyse is incredibly caring and fiercely passionate about the things, ideals, and people who are important to her. She carries a radiant spirit about her that puts Trisselle's to shame. She hasn't said it, but she seems to believe that Lyse and Master Garrett are an item, and wonders how no one else has come to that conclusion. At this point, Trisselle wouldn't be surprised if Lyse is a member of Master Garrett's 'shy' harem.
"How did it happen? I really have no idea. One day I looked at him, right at his unforgettable eyes, and realised he had a grasp on me I never predicted. I am delightfully obsessed with the man, but I fear I must hold that yearning in my heart."
Originally she met him as 'Renault,' and later learned he had two other identities as well: 'Zork' and 'Victor.' A contractor of various odd and end jobs, it seems safest to define him akin to a 'best friend' toward Augustine. He once hired Aerius for work in the eastern region of Thanalan's desert, something that nearly resulted in Trisselle's death (along with Aerius, Master Garrett, Lily, and Emeralda). When he expressed a romantic interest in Trisselle, she was reluctant to accept his proposition of courtship. Their seemingly glorious courtship hit an incredibly rocky end when he found out she was carrying Augustine's child and he threatened to kill her. Although Augustine made an attempt on Stefan's life, he survived, and only after a long conversation was Trisselle able to admit that she was in love with Stefan (and had been for some time). Supposedly, Augustine, Stefan, and Trisselle have made an agreement between the three of them based on their romantic inclinations. Beyond that, however, there is no one Trisselle cares for more than Stefan, living or dead in Eorzea.
"I am not fond of men who think they can fool me. I am even less fond of the ones who succeed. Silonon is nothing more than a deceitful man who has left me only bitter and agitated at the mere thought of him."
A mercenary Trisselle met through Alexaria Whiteraven. In spite of her modest protests, he created quite the public spectacle and successfully humiliated her when he performed a dance especially for her. Deciding he liked her reserved spirit so much, he sought her for a few courting sessions. Aware of her distrust for him, he convinced her to accept no other advances on her heart save his. Despite the way he feigned a dedication to her, he sporadically changed his mind in favour of having a child with another. Despite her attempts to avoid him, she has been less than fortunate to cross paths with him a few times in Ul'dah.

RUMOURS - COMMON
"She always delivers flowers with a smile that you would think nothing was ever wrong. It's a shame those aren't easily contagious, but when she's around, it almost seems plausible."

"I'm pretty sure I heard her talking to the birds when she came in. She really gives a whole new definition to 'communing with nature.' Truth be told, it was pretty weird, but from head-to-toe, she's a fairly odd girl."

"She's obsessed with keeping herself clean. I once watched her talking with some people and counted her brushing herself off about eighteen times in the span of one hour. Not sure what she thought she was touching, but maybe it's a nervous tic. I can guarantee no dust threatened her when she took her leave."

RUMOURS - RARE
"The girl doesn't eat much, I noticed. Watched her pick at her food once. By the end of things, she'd moved everything to make it look like she'd eaten more than she had. Sneaky little chinchilla she is."

"Don't think she sleeps. Girl had her face in a book when I went to bed and the next morning when the sun came up, she hadn't moved from her spot. Must have been a really good book."

"She doesn't even flinch at the sight of blood, but I saw her face and it was like looking at a child who lost her mother."

RUMOURS - PLAYER-BASED
"She carries herself with the elegance you'd expect from her people, a nice smile and a kind disposition, it seems."

—— Alexaria Whiteraven

"Observing others is one way to learn the nuances of the world...of society, but it is not the end all/be all. I can only show her the Path. She must be the one to walk through it."
—— Lily Dawnsworn

"Y'know she's a hyur, now? Man. S'crazy. Oh, uh—she's nice. Probably too nice for her own good. She's going to get herself killed trying to save my ass one of these days. Also, I don't like that she's taller than me."
—— Aerius Destroven

"Though my interactions with her have been few, I can say that despite her seeming disbelief in her own abilities, she is far more capable than some of the boasting dicks I've met in the Hourglass. She has qualities about her that most people will never touch on, and some day I hope she sees that as well."
—— Lyse Crofte

POINTS OF INTEREST
Trisselle now has an in-character journal detailing her journey and experiences in Eorzea.
I guess she can also have a tumblr, which will probably also have the same information from her journal, but is likely easier to follow.

TRISSELLE TROPES
Actual Pacifist - Trisselle chooses not to use violence or force of any kind against any object, animate or inanimate. She feels it's against a personal oath she swore when she adopted the pathway of conjury. While she doesn't condone other people using it, she also chooses not to interfere to stop them if situations come to blows. That doesn't mean, however, that she won't try to diplomatically talk things down.
Apologises a Lot - A poor habit, admittedly. Trisselle dislikes the idea of even potentially offending someone and she gets a little melodramatic when it comes to how often she offers apologies—even for things that are out of her control.
Beware the Nice Ones - It takes a lot for her to lose her temper and even when she's on the brink of it, she must know what she's capable of, for she's more likely to walk away from a situation instead of really spelling things out. Once Augustine mocked her over her naivety and she beat him in the face with a mug. Push her past the breaking point, and she'll willingly demonstrate why she's so confident in her skills.
Cute Bookworm - She likes to read. A lot. And most of the time when she's bothered by something or left to her solitude, her nose is firmly pressed into a book.
Did You think I can't Feel? - Her lack of experience in the world outside of the caverns in the Twelveswood paints Trisselle as sometimes being too subtle or lacking the ability to better express her feelings when she has them. She's the sort to let most things go without giving her opinion, and to some degree suffers a lack of assertion.
Elective Mute - Speak when spoken to. Children should be seen and not heard. Trisselle finds that she learns more when she listens than when she speaks. If she's talking, it's usually because she's making a point or she's saying what she feels needs to be said.
Forgets to Eat - Trisselle has horrible eating habits from being so wrapped up in situations around her to simply not wanting to eat in general. The only people who've seen her eat in person aside from her family are Damien, Augustine, and Renault.
Friendless Background - Although she grew up with friends and family, after the Calamity struck, Trisselle deliberately distanced herself from people. And once she made the decision to leave the Twelveswood, she chose a life of solitude for herself and in the present day still prefers her company to that of others.
Grass is Greener - She doesn't dislike the Elezen. In fact, she has a lot of pride for her heritage and clan. What she doesn't like is how it seems to stifle her relationships with other races due to tradition and lack of open-minded approach. Consequently, her curiosities and desires to experience a better life—the Hyur life—resulted in the Hyur Plot.
Hates Being Touched - Duskwight (and Elezen in general) commonly have a plethora of vanity, feeling a great deal of superiority to other races, something that started before Trisselle's birth and still continues in present day. Trisselle's lack of comfort with having people in her physical proximity does seem to be stemmed from a psychological fear that somehow forming connections of the sort will render her weak or somehow less than 'superior.'
I Am What I Am - The lesson to be learned that's recently found it's beginning. Trisselle's gifts, personality, and self as an entirety is an individual she must discover is better than tolerable or acceptable. Her traits make her an undeniably unique woman and not someone to either be underestimated or undervalued.
Must Make Amends - The harsh discovery that she's rendered herself incomplete, Trisselle acknowledges that her desire to be someone other than herself has consequently stirred up a lot of regret and remorse. When she regained her true self, she understood the value of herself as a person.
Nature Lover - From rains to snow, sunny days and the darkest nights, she loves all things nature related. She's the type to get caught up in watching rivers from a bridge for hours, or laying down in a field of flowers for no good reason other than to take a nap in them. She feels most at peace when surrounded by fields, trees, the ocean, sandy shores, and other locales not populated by buildings, houses, or gaggles of people.
Plain Jane - Trisselle doesn't seem to understand what it is other people see in her. The first time Aerius called her 'pretty' she was bemused and perplexed. She thinks in comparison to others of her kind and even the Hyur that she's rather plain.
Skilled, but Naive - The epitome of the Elezen-turned-Hyur. Trisselle has a great capacity for learning and picks up on things quickly, but while her words and actions sometimes paint her as a wise woman, she knows very little about the real world. A consequence of growing up in an often overprotected and sheltered family, she lacks the ability to properly judge people as well as situations.
What is this Feeling? - Befriending Garrett, Augustine, Aerius, Lily, the Restless Road mercantile, and the others, Trisselle has stumbled upon the very sentiment of forming connections with others in familial, friendship, and romantic inclinations. But it's all new to her and frequently, she's unable to properly put her feelings into words.

TRIVIA (THE THINGS YOU WANT TO KNOW)
It is excessively rare for Trisselle to introduce herself with her given and family name. The only people who currently know her as 'Trisselle Ganathain' are some members of the Coral Sea, Augustine, Stefan, Garrett, Cornelius Frost, and Master Garrett. Her other friends and allies only know her as 'Trisselle' or 'Triss.'
She really does not like being called 'Triss.'
Lady Dhem began an ongoing jest that Trisselle is a princess when she misheard the Elezen's induction to the ranks of the Coral Sea. Since then, Trisselle has adopted the lovingly joking title of 'Princess' in place of 'priestess,' and occasionally corrects it modestly.
While she does not give her age out, Trisselle is actually 22. Her birthday is the 23rd Day of the Fourth Umbral Moon (August 23).
Trisselle's hair colour is naturally white. Aerius convinced her during the Hyur Plot to have it dyed a maroon / burgundy colour. Although she kept it for some time after regaining her true form, Trisselle changed her hair to black in hopes of a self-image change.
She once frequented the Sanctum of the Twelve in the Shroud with offerings for Menphina, where those there still refer to her as 'Priestess Ganathain of the White.'
Trisselle has also studied a little in the history and development of black magic, though her knowledge is very sparse. She's currently taking tutelage from Lady Mylla in Ul'dah for swordplay at Garrett's suggestion.
Her favourite colour is violet.
She has a young dodo as a pet who stays in the Twelveswood with her family. So taken was she by meeting Stefan (Renault at the time), that she named the dodo 'Ren.'
She also has an antisocial chocobo who doesn't come around frequently named Artoirel. He's not the friendliest bird, but he's reliable when she needs him to be. Her typical mode of transportation is a unicorn she calls Aubrenard.
Trisselle loves the rain. What she doesn't love is lightning.
She seems like the kind of girl who could sing and have woodland animals flock to her. That is completely inaccurate. Trisselle's ability to sing is atrocious (and she knows it). In other words, it doesn't exist.
She actually has a decent sketching ability. Along with her journal, she carries another [smaller] leather bound book with notes and drawings of Eorzea's various flora.
Trisselle likes wine. That is to say, she loves wine. (White, in particular.)
She doesn't care for inns and beds. Despite her blessed and fortunate background, she has a particular preference for sleeping outside.
She spends a decent amount of time cooking and providing food for the orphans in both the Twelveswood and Ul'dah. When Damien came to her for her forgiveness, she convinced him to donate a large sum of gil to the orphans in Thanalan for food, shelter, and clothing.

RP HOOKS
If for some reason you are starving, she will most likely feed you.
If for some reason you are injured, she will most likely administer to your wounds.
She is often in Limsa Lominsa, the meeting grounds for the Coral Sea association.
She spends an almost alarming amount of time in Augustine Frost's company, despite his questionable reputation.
