She looks like she'll probably stab someone and she packs a bit of a punch when you get to

know her, though upon first meeting she might seem docile and timid, not in her proper environment, unless someone she trusts is with her. It's difficult for her to crawl out of her shell with people but she will if given the right advances. She practices a lot of meditation and zen practices, believing entirely in the peace of mind and body to be able to perform to the best of her ability, and is usually very vulgar outwardly. She can be a bit jumpy with loud noises, and it can set off a few uncomfortable emotions for her. She's usually a jokester with people she knows well, and can have quite a raunchy sense of humour. Her vocabulary is extensive, but she adopts a casual vernacular when she feels comfortable and at peace to look more like a commoner.

V'ieh stands approximately four foot ten inches, with a slim but muscular build, though her legs were very muscular compared to the rest of her build, but recently was lit aflame, her right leg and arm have a bit of scarring. She has tanned, clear skin and hair a few shades darker than her skin tone. Her hair itself is usually in a messy braid, or rested along her shoulders. Her eyes are a muted amber, nothing out of the ordinary or stand-out-ish for her race and clan. Her lips are usually curled into a sly smirk or sweet smile, dependent on the situation. Her facial markings aren't extreme, but stripes rest on her cheeks and her forehead, a quiet colour matching to her tanned flesh.
Viehsitonthingy.png

Her ears are pointed and usually relaxed closer into her skull, and her tail is usually slack, letting gravity control it's resting, save for a few flicks every now and then in specific situations. Her nails are usually painted nicely with nail lacquer, usually pastel colours, and are usually pointed in cat-claw like shape. Publicly she's usually seen in simple common or casual clothing and she doesn't spend a whole lot of time on her appearance, and sometimes can look rather messy after being in Gridania's garden. If you see her in her armor, you're likely in for a bad time.

V'ieh has been through an ordeal leaving multiple stab scars on her stomach, as well as deep flesh burn scars on her right leg and arm.

H I S T O R Y

V'iehessi was born south of the Sagolii Desert in a subsect of the 'V' or Vulture tribe to V'tehso Tia, son of V'alag Nuhn, and V'ellenha, her mother. The village she grew up in wasn't entirely small in size and slightly wealthy, but the village still ran on very heavy and outdated patriarchal norms set by V'alag Nuhn and his sons. Women of age of 18 cycles were put in a trade, guarding, or is seen as a breeding mother. There were no real idea of what would happen if a woman rebelled against the rules of the clan. The Tia's born under the Nuhn or his sons were immediately taken from mothers and raised into politics. Other men were raised into businesses and trading outside of the clan. V'iehessi grew up being extremely disinterested in many of the trades befitted to the women of her clan and was too defiant on becoming a breeding woman or guardswoman. She spent most of her time taking care of nearby shrubs next to oasis' around her village. She would go on trade journeys through to Ul'dah on established trade routes with other children but she'd usually wander off on pit-stops to examine plant life and nearby desert animal nests and burrows.

For some time V'iehessi could remember her mother being pregnant and almost coming to term when V'ieh herself was only 15 cycles old. All she could remember was her mother going into labor and when she returned home she told V'iehessi that her brother did not make it. Little to V'iehessi's knowledge, her brother, V'ashir Tia, actually was alive, but was taken under by her absent father to raise him under political rule without motherly influences. V'ashir was only made aware of his sister and mother's existence when V'iehessi was defending their mother after her mother was being publicly shamed for V'iehessi having no contributing skills to the clan, and was destined to be a breeder cat at 17 cycles old.

Upon reaching age 18, the women of age to be breeding mates were to be branded with a "V" on the back of their neck. V'iehessi received hers with plentiful struggling and disobedience and was promptly whipped for civil disobedience. That was the moment she knew she was going to leave, which would cast her as a traitor against her clan. She left only days after her 18th Nameday, but was eventually recaptured and brought in for interrogation with clan leaders. V'alag Nuhn ordered for a week's long "rehabilitation" in the hopes that she'll be more obedient to clan laws. She was subjected to various methods of basic torture before her flight or fight response pushed her into a state of frenzy in a last resort to escape. By the time V'iehessi came to, she was malms away from her clan's village, wielding a broken piece of glass in her hand and covered in a mixture of her own blood, and presumably the Tia's charged with the task of breaking her.

Viehart.png
V'iehessi had no idea where she was going, and her same frenzied state was the only thing fading in and out of her consciousness to get her through the desert. She couldn't see any of the trade routes she remembered while growing up. Eventually she bumped into Ferathir Dawnbreaker, who seemed to be in his own sense of agony after losing someone he loved in a mining accident. He managed to console V'iehessi down enough to take her out of her adrenaline, and they both returned to a nearby town. They introduced themselves to each other, and vowed to each other that they'd watch each other's backs until the day they die, calling it their Oath to one another. That was the day The Oathsworn Vigil was initially founded. Ferathir trained her enough to be able to hold her own, and V'iehessi soothed a rage in him about his lover's early demise at the hands of his group. When they parted ways, V'iehessi asked Ferathir to keep her name a secret, and asked him to call her by the alias, "V'ieh Vhessi" instead. Ferathir urged V'ieh to write in a journal to keep track of her thoughts, so she agreed begrudgingly.

When Ferathir and V'ieh parted ways, V'ieh lightened her hair and changed her style enough to not be noticed through the rest of Ul'dah. They secured V'ieh a carriage to Gridania. On that carriage was a man named Hiro Mizaki, a Doman refugee who crossed one of the first and very few refugee boats to Eorzea from Othard in the midst of Garlean takeover. This was V'ieh's first real encounter with another culture and she was instantly infatuated with their culture. He could sense a lot of strife and despair from V'ieh and asked if she had any formal disciplines in combat. She said no, and had no real place to go after she got to Gridania except for a month's worth of Gil to keep her in an INN. He began to train her in the art of Ninjutsu under the pretense he could stay with V'ieh after meeting her the next day at the Amphitheater. She agreed and begun training right away the next day. V'ieh fell in love with the forests and flora of the Black Shroud instantly, and gradually became a very strong horticulturalist and botanist.

As their training continued, V'ieh and Hiro would undertake small contracts to keep up with their expenses of living in INN's. V'ieh was startled when Hiro had to killed a man in front of her, never actually witnessed death before outside of her frenzy, which alters her consciousness to complete black-out. Hiro assured her that evil men and women being killed was okay in the balance of all things as long as you use your own skills for good. She was thrown off a bit, but she understood. Eventually, V'ieh began falling for Hiro and wondered if Ferathir would ever approve. She thought about reciting the Oath to Hiro as well but she suppressed that thought on the notion that he might think it was weird or extremely foreign. They began using her full name again, with the thought that V'ieh's name wouldn't be recognized in Gridania.

Eventually, Hiro took V'ieh to bed, and her feelings for him were solidified. She brought him to see the garden she was working on in Gridania and he expressed pride in her work and seeing her bring life to something from almost nothing. He told her the pink peonies she grew reminded him of V'ieh, because they were bright and beautiful, and pink then became her favourite colour, and peonies became her favourite flowers. They left soon after to La Nocsea for a small get away to Costa del Sol before a large scale contract they had on the large tropic island.

She explained to him what the Oath was, and who Ferathir was, and he showed interest. She planned later that day after their contract was over. He also gave V'ieh blades etched with the Doman words for "beauty" and "zen" on them to complete her training.

Unfortunately, the contract was a set up. Clan Tia's were sent in to ambush them. V'ieh immediately took on a frenzy, and when she finally came to, Hiro was on the ground with the rest of the Tia's, only clinging onto life. V'ieh held him, and tried to recite the Oath to him, but he passed away part way through. V'ieh promptly went back into hiding. She donated their savings to more of the Doman refugees in Ul'dah because she assumed that is what Hiro would have wanted. She paid no attention to her gardening anymore, and she consistently took contracts and bounties to under her alias to keep herself alive. She soon had no care to killing people, and her moral compass began to shift strongly, taking bounties that weren't entirely in the best interest to the rest of society.

V'ieh had only turned 19 by the beginning of the Seventh Umbral Era, the Calamity wreaking havoc on Eorzea. Business began to boom in the crime business and she excelled. She also gained quite the reputation in Ul'dah for taking both men and women to bed on a consistent basis, the only reason she did so was it seemed to numb a lot of pain brought on by so much tragedy. Soon after the Calamity she could feel someone always watching her in Thanalan.

Ferathir had sent V'ieh a letter summoning her to the Lavender Beds, one of V'ieh's favourite places. She had changed quite a bit, adopting a silver tongue, gaining a lot of muscle mass since he knew her being so malnourished. She met him, and also met Minako Obinata, who he seemed to take a liking to. Enough to be so trusting to want to Oath her. V'ieh was immediately offended, realizing she didn't like the idea of suddenly making the Oathsworn into a Free Company.

V'ieh soon realized if the person watching her wanted to kill her, they'd have done it already. Ferathir was soon brought up to speed on everything with Hiro, and he shared more about his previous lover. She planned shortly thereafter to visit her old village to see if the mystery person who was following her around, would follow her there.

Upon entering her village, she realized the entire place was burnt to the ground. And not from the Calamity, it was fresh, and was clearly done by a someone, not a something. A shrouded man approached and attacked her, but she realized he would flee if she retaliated, so she accepted the beating to try to build trust. Eventually, at the sunrise, he fled, and V'ieh crawled back up the Sagolii and had to call Ferathir to aid her, who was not happy with her actions. Consistently, through more interaction with her Oathbrother and Oathsister she was realizing her good intentions continued to reflect poorly to everyone around her, and she became more and more frustrated as time went on. V'ieh grew increasingly annoyed with how fast Fer and Mina were falling for each other and feared for him getting hurt the same way she was with Hiro.

Ferathir and Minako went with V'ieh to the Gold Saucer. V'ieh had recently obtained a bounty against a man who burned down a village south of the Sagolii, and she spotted him in the Gold Saucer playing games in a silly outfit. She assaulted him, and it took Ferathir to pry her off of him. Soon enough, Thata'wo Kaatapoh became a stray who followed the Oathsworn around only to really torment them, and harass V'ieh. It soon became very clear that Thata'wo was without a clan and he took V'ieh as a Matriarchal figure.

V'ieh entered a frenzy state with Ferathir, currently one of the two only people to survive being targeted when she's in that state, because he threatened her views on how Hiro died. It was later revealed that it was at V'ieh's hand that Hiro had died, because it wouldn't have made any sense for him to die by the hands of under-trained Tia's, and the wounds on his body weren't impaling from lances, they were slices from her own blades. This threw V'ieh in a very deep depression, and she retired her blades for a while and fled to Costa del Sol for a few months to meditate and mourn. She begun tallying any time she remembered frenzying onto her thigh with a sharp implement as a reminder to keep herself grounded. Ferathir tried to give her blades back to her but she refused. Thata'wo tried to convince her to take her blades back, and Minako remained quiet.

Tensions with Ferathir and V'ieh continued to rise, with him trying to learn Ninjutsu as a weapon to defend himself, V'ieh and Minako. She met another Miqo'te named Xehn'a Hmyr who V'ieh was ashamed for quickly growing a crush on despite her situation still mourning Hiro. Eventually V'ieh forsook the Oath and left Ferathir and Minako behind, only still remaining closer with new apprentice Thata'wo. She had taken her blades back but never got back into bounties until she was confident enough to only use them when she needed.

Xehn'a and V'ieh's affair turned into a full fledged relationship, and continued strong for a long while. V'ieh left the company she was in, and reconciled with Ferathir.

V'ieh pursued the same mystery man once again who was following her every step in Thanalan. Eventually, she encountered him, and let him stab her in the stomach to elicit that same frenzy so she could dispatch her target without remorse for killing someone from her already endangered clan. It was the same Tia who harassed her mother for V'ieh's inability to grasp any productive trade in their clan.

V'ieh soon purchased property with Xehn'a in the Lavender Beds and soon enough a letter came into her mail addressed by a "V". V'ieh was thrown off and thought she was by chance only the last few of her clan left.

N P C

V'alag Nuhn ( ) ( NPC ) - The Leader
The Nuhn of her clan. She is extremely fearful he will come back and put her in her place for disobeying through all 18 years of her life in the clan village. She is unaware he's deceased.
V'ellenha ( ) ( NPC ) - Mother
V'ieh has fond memories of her mother, though she always was apprehensive of V'ieh's denial to their patriarchal society. V'ieh is unaware of her mother's current status.
V'tehso Tia ( ) ( NPC ) - Father
The man who impregnated her mother. She has no fond memories of V'tehso, and remembers him as the Nuhn's self-centered politically driven son, and nothing of a father. He was not present for a lot of her childhood.
Hiro Mazaki ( ) ( NPC ) - Past Lover
Her first love and relationship, a Doman refugee who was skilled in the art of Ninjutsu. He taught V'ieh everything he knew of Ninjutsu and tried to keep her in a state of zen so she wouldn't enter her frenzied state. She lost her virginity to Hiro and she was set to recite the Oath to him but during a bounty, they were caught in the midst of Tia's of her clan, who were all slaughtered in V'ieh's frenzy, as well as Hiro himself. She recited part of the Oath to him before he died.

P C

V'ashir Tia ( ? ) - Brother
V'ieh's only supposed living relative left. She had no idea during her mother's pregnancy that it was twins, and the other was not a stillborn. She is still in shock knowing she has a sibling that is alive, and is still apprehensive about how he managed to escape the fire. He recently saved her from an attack and is the reason she's currently alive right now. However she is convinced that he has the same frenzied affliction that she does, but is better at hiding it. He stayed with V'ieh for a few months before he sought out independence, and V'ieh funded for an apartment for him in Mist. Since then, he's been rather distant.
Ferathir Lauhafiere ( ) - The First Oathbrother
After finding her in the deserts of Thanalan, beaten and abused, Ferathir took V'ieh under his guidance and protection until she got on her feet. He set her up with some self defensive studies and pushed her onto her way to become peaceful, despite the anger she felt after being kidnapped and tortured for bruising her clan Nuhn's ego. Since then, the two have bonded and are sworn under The Oath that they would protect and help each other by all means necessary. Unfortunately, V'ieh had foregone the Oath out of personal necessity, and for the safety of Ferathir and others under the Oath. However, after regaining contact, they began anew once more. V'ieh and Ferathir are both currently as close as before, although V'ieh tends to get on Ferathir's nerves on a consistent basis, and vice versa. She continues to root for Ferathir and Minako's relationship. Ferathir has picked up a very keen insight on how V'ieh feels and is thinking in the moment, and the two can usually convey thoughts or commands to one another without sharing a word, and only a glance.
Xehn'a Hmyr ( ) - The Disappeared
V'ieh was one day approached by Xehn'a while she was voluntarily tending to Gridania's flowers. Since then, they play pretend and act out scenes in little stories they make up, and have since scarified each other with a triangle on each other's forearm, the alchemical symbol for fire. She enjoys spending her time around someone who is very free and fiery, the same as her. Xehn'a has since moved out, having disappeared, and they have drifted apart.
Raizoh Tia ( ) - The Daring
A dark skinned, svelte man who V'ieh accepted a bounty on. With V'ieh's nasty habit of playing around with her prey before she kills them she engaged in conversation with him despite the nature of her unexpected visit on his operations in Moraby of La Noscea. V'ieh was shocked that the Miqo'te could keep up with her silver tongue and continued to prod to see what direction she could take the rest of the night, as was surprised he was as eager to taking risks as she was. After a particularly eventful night, V'ieh tossed the bounty contract into the furnace of the operations shack and left leaving a linkpearl for him, "in case he missed her". Raizoh managed to dig up where V'ieh lived, and continuously showed up at her house, breaking in consistently for around a week, convincing V'ieh to partner with him on contracts. V'ieh accepted under the terms he had to take her on a date first, and he obliged. They went on their date, and he managed to impress her just with the amount of planning that went into it. She shared some secrets and they both confessed their growing attachment to each other.
Minako Obinata ( ) - Oathsister
Her first Oathsister, and the third in the Oath, she isn't as close to Minako as she'd like to be, but already has sisterly feelings for her after realizing they perhaps have more in common than she thought, being both trained Ninjas. V'ieh is curious as to what she finds romantically in Ferathir, and is proud of Minako for tolerating someone who can be so stubborn. At present she's curious about Minako's background and where she's come from and why. V'ieh is rooting for her and Ferathir's relationship, and considers her to be the only true sister V'ieh has ever had in her life, although sometimes she tends to pick on Minako and her slow response time and lack of understanding of Eorzean culture.
Thata'wo Kaatapoh ( ? ) - The Stray Cat
Falsely accused of burning her village down, V'ieh picked up his bounty until finally pursuing him and realizing he was nothing but a gnat that was pinned as a decoy. Seeing his upbeat personality and scattered brain, this made her drop tracking the bounty and have it withdrawn under false accusation. She attempted to bring him under the Oath but he evaded in every chance. Eventually, she hired him in under as her apprentice, teaching him how to fight, hold his own, and undertake bounties. After a spar won by him, she views him in a new light and can see if he needed to, he could easily hold his own. Their relationship with one another is rocky and the two are constantly sparring, mad at each other, confiding in one another, or involved in uncomfortable sexual tension. Thata'wo disappeared for some time and his absence has fallen into a serious case of puppy-love for him. It's to be determined whether or not she's just lonely or actually does feel love for him.
Malashe Crystalsong ( ) - The Earthbreaker
A friend she had met in the Nine Lives group before her departure, a strong Roegadyn woman who she does admire. She does wish to learn more of Malashae but she bonds with her in a brute-like strength-monger fashion. She was recently the maid of honour in Malashae and Vasi'li Hajii's Ceremony of Eternal Bonding.
Vasi'li Hajii ( ) - The Small
A sarcastic, annoying Miqo'te that wields a book wherever he goes, usually dressed in all black. She usually makes verbal jabs at him out of friendliness and he returns in surplus. V'ieh still wishes to get to know more about Vasi. She was recently the maid of honour in Malashae and Vasi'li's Ceremony of Eternal Bonding.
Valadron Karzov ( ) - The Deranged
A peculiar Keeper Miqo'te that seems to have some "spiritual friends" that follow him around. V'ieh's first interactions with him is when he's standing around or previously at a Nine Lives bar night, where he drank himself into a stupor and then passed out on the floor unmovable in his plate armor. She's grown to appreciate Valadron and has since named his "inner demon" Frankie. She knows he has a soft spot and keeps him around to watch over him and pet his hair and has since begun keeping tabs on the "Frankie" situation. She's currently been growing closer to Valadron over the past months and has been enjoying his company despite putting on a dominant front with him.
Hanatsuma Maibito ( ) - The Pink-haired
A quiet, reserved Raen Auri lady clad in a magenta colour. V'ieh does not know much yet about her other than she shares similar history with Minako, was employed with Oathsworn Solutions, but has yet to be seen again since The Oathsworn Vigil came forth with it's true nature..
R'anael Lea ( ) - The Wild One
A Seeker Miqo'te, who reminds V'ieh a lot of herself. Sex driven, no-patriarchal bullshit free-willed lady. Though V'ieh still has plenty to learn about R'anael, she does know she has a strong fighter at her side if needed.
Tatsuya Mazaki ( ) - The Scoundrel
Klaus one day stumbled upon V'ieh's home in the Lavender Beds, and she invited him in on fact he looked starved and tired. He seemed to have remarkable similarities to Hiro, and she was being pestered by her brother V'ashir to train him in Ninjutsu. She hired him to Oathsworn Solutions after a few months hiatus from a brutal attack at her old village, and will begin taking him under as an apprentice. She recently discovered his real name and heritage, finding out he is the younger brother of her former mentor and lover, Hiro Mazaki. She's decided to continue to teach him all Hiro had taught her, as her final service to her late mentor. After Tatsuya found out about the coincidental connection between them, he vowed to kill her, but eventually threw in the white flag when his sister wanted no part in a petty war.
Tyo'li Amariyo ( ) - The Punchy Scamp
Tyo'li and V'ieh met outside of the company house, and V'ieh did the unfortunate task of introducing Tyo'li and Thata'wo Kaatapoh to each other. The two hit it off and V'ieh regrets the pairing ending up being best friends. She doesn't understand why Tyo'li looks up to Thata'wo, but she has elected to train Tyo'li with Thata'wo to show Tyo'li that Thata'wo has flaws, but that he makes them work in his favour. She admires his confidence over what seems to be little skill and mere flamboyancy, and sees a lot of Thata'wo in him. V'ieh has not seen or heard from Tyo'li in some time.
Amianne Brineux ( ) - The Card Mistress
A Duskwight Elezen that towers over her and has a very foreign appearance in nature. The Oathsworn came upon the woman in Gridania offering tarot readings. V'ieh remained skeptical but Minako Obinata quickly ran up and paid to get a reading. After an accurate reading, V'ieh was next in line and was immediately thrown off with the reading and it's accuracy. She later on became a friend to the Oathsworn, pledged to the Oath, and opened up an office in the Oathsworn House. V'ieh is still unsure on how to feel about the elusive Elezen and is still cautious, despite being protective of her new Oathsister.
Ayame Shirohana ( ) - The Timid
A small Raen girl that stumbled upon V'ieh and the Oathsworn while meeting and getting a reading from Amianne Brineux in Gridania. She was watching V'ieh from afar and V'ieh being less than subtle, wrangled the small Auri woman closer to the group. She later became a part of the Oathsworn household. After noticing V'ieh was experiencing some sickly symptoms, she made up some Chamomile Tea for V'ieh and it left a good impression on her, though she's still not 100% warmed up to the new face yet.
Ganvachir Qerel ( ) - The Tiger Killer
A hulking, but quiet and slightly intimidating Xaela man who seems still unaccustomed to Eorzean culture. V'ieh knows Ganvachir from the Nine Lives Bar, being the bouncer for some of the events, but also followed around Vasi'li, Valadron and Malashae consistently to protect them in the past, though V'ieh figures he hangs around them out of his own personal social needs. V'ieh can feel Gan is pretty out of place on Eorzea but she tries her best to keep him included on conversations that may go over his head. She currently has him employed looking over her estate while she's away and keeping Thata'wo off of her property.
Valaryn Karzov ( ) - The Better Catte
A purple haired Miqo'te lady who's extremely quiet, compared to her loud-mouthed brother, Vasi'li. She followed Vasi'li onto V'ieh's property and V'ieh immediately took a physical liking to her and she consistently made lewd comments and gestures at her all night, with positive response. She seems to have the same annoyances with Vasi'li as V'ieh does and her heart flutters mercilessly for the woman's silently crude nature.
Kudros Crendraven ( ) - The Chocobo Breeder
A goliath Hyurian man that V'ieh harassed one day in the Quicksands quickly grew into an uncanny, peculiar friendship. Although her intentions were unclear, V'ieh coaxed him to her part of the Lavender Beds under the premise of sleeping with her but they quickly unloaded their arsenals on each other and mutually respected each other's payload and skills. Eventually, she did bring him back to her house where she sloppily attempted to make a move on him to which he declined her drunkenness and the two instead spent the night asking each other questions about themselves while she sobered up.

If an aspect of RP makes you uncomfortable in a scene we're playing, please send me a /tell, letting me know. Communication is very important, more important than potentially keeping immersion.
All roleplay is strictly confined to IC circumstances. The blending of IC and OOC is not something I'm comfortable with.
