Appearance
Zanana is of average height for a Lalafell, perhaps even a bit smaller. She has red eyes as well as red hair that she keeps tied behind her head. She has a marking in the form of a rose on her right arm, but refuses to tell anyone where she received it from.
In the past, she wore an eye patch that she claimed "sealed her dragon powers". She stopped wearing it after Jujunia said that she looked better without it.
Behavior
Zanana tends to be very rough in her mannerisms. She loves to fight and drink, and will never back down from a challenge. To people that don't know her she may seem rude, but anything she says is (usually) for a good cause. She can sometimes be apprehensive of people she does not know, but she tends to make fast friends with them. She almost never holds grudges to people as long as they are willing to change, and constantly tries to pull others into her fast pace. In front of her father, she will immediately begin to act cutesy and call her father "daddy" or "papa" and hug him affectionately, regardless of their current company.
In the past, she often pretended to be a dragon reincarnated as a Lalafell. She no longer does this as she believes that Jujunia will think she is an idiot if she were to continue.
Speech
Zanana speaks in a high-pitched, whiny tone of voice. Her laugh is more akin to a screech than anything. She tends to generalize on most statements, ending sentences with "and stuff" and "or something". She speaks with a slight Ul'dahn accent and occasionally slurs her words.
Aptitudes
Zanana was trained in the way of the Pugilist from her brother Rogar. While lacking in physical strength, her deft agility in close quarters combat belies her pudgy build. She does not have the slightest clue about magic or its various intricacies, nor does she care to learn. After being defeated in a sparring match by a Dunesfolk Lancer named Babaren Gogoren, she learned to appreciate the exceptional reach of the spear and began to train under Babaren in order to learn to wield one.
Zanana knows the basics of cooking and preparing food from helping her mother when she was younger, but is not confident enough in her abilities to call herself talented at it. She has begun to practice cooking more often at the suggestion of Jujunia.

Family
Jozen Yazen: Zanana's father. A very serious Lalafellin from Ul'dah. Was formerly an alchemist of a renowned company, but was fired after being accused of stealing supplies. Though stern and strict most of the time, he turns into a complete sap around Zanana. He constantly refers to her with pet names like Zanana Banana and Zanny. Before losing his job, he tended to spoil Zanana by buying her anything she asked for (within bounds, of course). Dismisses her penchant for acting by saying that she's free to do whatever makes her happy. Tends to become violently angry when drunk.
Totoda Toda: Zanana's mother. A kindhearted Lalafellin Weaver from Ul'dah. Being the mother of five, she is very used to taking care of children.
Tencha Kemcha: The oldest of Zanana's three brothers. A stout Lalafellin Gladiator who makes his living as an Immortal Flame of Ul'dah. Treats Zanana with disdain, as he sees her as spoiled.
Rogar Haygar: The second oldest of Zanana's three brothers. A jovial Lalafellin Miner who is also Zanana's favorite brother. Is almost always in a good mood with a smile on his face. Taught Zanana to fight using her fists in order to protect herself. Found Zanana's delusions cute and played along with her at times, much to the detriment of their mother.
Popodan Fafadan: The youngest of Zanana's three brothers. A Lalafellin Archer that travels Eorzea to find stories to tell. Very rarely in Ul'dah, but always makes sure to regal his family with tales of his travels when he visits. Many of his stories were actually inspiration for Zanana's delusions. Not very close to Zanana, but is still kind to her.
Zazana Zana: Zanana's twin sister. Though they happen to look very similar (besides the obvious clan difference), they are the exact opposite personality-wise. Where Zanana would prefer to get in fights and cause trouble, Zazana would prefer to stay home and read or observe their father's work. Despite this, Zanana and Zazana are extremely close and consider each other their best friend. They haven't seen each other in quite a while, as Zazana decided to stay home with their parents instead of joining Zanana in adventuring.
Friends
Zethie Aldis: A reserved Miqo'te male that Zanana loves to tease. He does not take kindly to it, and has threatened her on several occasions. This has not seemed to deter her.
Sicha Tia: A Miqo'te male and a fellow thrill seeker . Zanana respects him for his careless demeanor as well as his combat prowess.
Talathar Khalynn: Nicknames: Tala. A Lalafellin female which Zanana met at Horizon. Zanana took a quick liking to her confused mannerisms and wishes to become a closer friend to her.
M'hirobi Moonbride: Nicknames: Mirrorbee. A shy Miqo'te female which can usually be found in the presence of Sicha. Has a low tolerance for conversations that are lewd in nature, so Zanana makes sure to make her feel uncomfortable that way.
Broken Shield: Nicknames: Po. A kindly Roegadyn male that Zanana respects for his manners and work ethic. He also works at a farm, which Zanana wants to visit.
Solya Frost: A motherly Miqo'te woman that constantly treats Zanana as if she were a doll. Zanana would never admit it, but she actually enjoys her coddling.
Babaren Gogoren: A stoic Lalafellin Lancer and Zanana's teacher in the art of the spear. Has a no-nonsense attitude and refuses to reveal anything about himself.
Jujunia Rerenia: Nicknames: Juju. A Lalafellin mage studying to become a doctor. Zanana became interested in his research on aether and began to assist him with it. Currently in a "complicated" relationship with him.
Enemies
Viola Seville: The infamous "Red Streak" of Ul'dah. Zanana believes her to be the thief that caused of her father to lose his job and become subsequently depressed. There is no evidence to claim that this is true, but Zanana found that Viola made a convenient scapegoat.
Emma Finch: The "Crazy Lady". Has tried to kill Zanana on several occasions for unknown reasons.
History
Zanana was born in Ul'dah on the 24th Sun of the 5th Umbral Moon to Jozen Yazen and Totoda Toda. As she was born mere moments before her twin sister, she was considered the second youngest of the family's five children. As a result of looking up to her brothers, she became a bit of a tomboy. Instead of attending her schooling lessons and etiquette classes, she would skip them and cause trouble in her neighborhood. Though her parents were disappointed by her behavior, they made no attempt to reform it. From a young age, Zanana had always been the cause of arguments and fights in her neighborhood. Because of this, her brother Rogar taught her how to fist fight so that she might defend herself from any would be assailants. Other than that, nothing of any note happened during Zanana's childhood. Her family was not wealthy or poor, but they managed to get by fine. This lifestyle bored Zanana to no end, but she accepted it.
When Zanana was younger, her father was accused of stealing supplies and money at his job. Though there was no proof to confirm that he was indeed the thief, he was still fired and blacklisted. Jozen then fell into a deep, alcohol fueled depression. He refused to leave the home and occasionally even became violent, which required him to be restrained by his sons. Zanana refused to believe that her father had committed the crime that he was accused of and blamed an at-the-time infamous thief that was known as the Red Streak. She took it upon herself to enact justice upon the thief and trained with that in mind.
Years later, Zanana finally had enough of her boring home life. She decided that she wanted to see the world, and she felt that she was old enough to take care of herself in the real world. After much pleading and arguing over her decision, Zanana's parents allowed her to leave home in search of adventure.
