History
Nesra Kajhir is the youngest of the seven children of Ankti Kajhir, one matriarch of the Kajhir clan of Keepers--now situated near the Lavender Beds in the Shroud. The Kajhir clan has been mostly fortunate, but impending threats from aetheric disturbances, Ixali raids, less-peaceful clans, and Gridanian interference have caused the clan in recent years to come out of hiding and seek out safer refuge.
The Kajhir clan is small, and survives mainly through gathering and trade. The employ the heavy use of glamours and shielding magics to make their travel along old trade routes safer. Kajhir's still hold many traditions, heavily influenced by the study of magics, disciplines of the hand, and literacy. When a youth of the tribe desires to make a great decision upon their life (Be it leaving to go adventuring, seeking out further training, bringing in an outside mate, etc.), a ceremony is held so that the youth may petition for the blessing of the matriarchs. Male members of the tribe are also educated, though war and combat disciplines tend to be their path. Males are also given an equal voice in Kajhir ceremonies to the lesser females of the tribe, but ultimately, decisions are made by the eldest females.
Initially trained in embroidery by Ankti's sister, Pati, Nesra embarked from her clan and later completed a weaver's apprenticeship with Sunsilk Tapestries. As a weaver, her specialty is undergarments. Nesra has teamed up as an entrepreneur with Senelle Silverlight, opening a shop of curiosities. The shop will soon be moving from Limsa Lominsa, to a location closer to the 81st Company estate in the Mist.
Following the loss of one of her mentors, Y'lyfriel Sikah, Nesra has also taken an interest in healing by minor arcanima techniques, and basic chirurgy.
Update ((as of 1/23/2016)):
Nesra continues her studies in arcanima and scholarly mending and defensive techniques. Now joined by a curious pair of teachers, the faerie Arwynne and a cognitome by the name of Simonides (of Nym). Additionally, she has learned that a familiar friend of hers, Lynn'wo Vahnal, is actually her brother.

As follows is the tree of the Kajhir tribe at present, after Kajhir broke her family from the Zhana tribe. The history that came before that is unbeknownst to Nesra.

Appearance
Nesra sports a wild head full of wavy hair, most often worn down or barely tamed into two long braids or pigtails. Small of breast, but chubby and wide at the hips and thighs--the very definition of a pear-shaped figure. (And then there's that arse!) Pale-skinned and spotted with freckles across her cheeks and shoulders most noticeable after she's spent any time in the sun. Her face is adorned with traditional Keeper tattoos. As a rite of passage for her accomplishments as a weaver, a white tattoo replicating her first successfully crafted length of lace wraps around her left thigh. Two white lace mandala-like tattoos adorn her breasts, and the geometry of an arcanimist's Sacred Soil spell is tattood on her forearm in glowing Moon Daisy ink.
She is most often seen carrying a number of enchanted [or aether-responsive] tools that she utilizes in her craft. (Such as a quill-pen and journal, and a measure-tape that carry out her commands without her need to be hands-on.)
Personality
Nesra is friendly and outgoing, a "never met a stranger" type. She is bright and enterprising, literate and educated. Having spent most of her time within the Kajhir tribe, she is incredibly naive. (A paradox given the business she has recently gotten herself into.) Nessie does, however, have a tendency to lose her filter and tact when she is sleepy, and even more so when she is hungry.
It is her life's intent to improve the morale, mood, and self-esteem of those around her by making them feel better, and Nessie wholeheartedly believes is that sometimes a frilly pair of knickers is all anyone needs!

● ♥♥ Senelle Silverlight - As her mentor and business partner, Nesra holds the utmost respect for this woman, even when being disciplined for her own sometimes loss of manners. Were anyone to ask, Nesra would call Senelle her greatest friend in all her life. She cannot see herself far or long apart from Senelle, and would do anything to keep her sane and happy.
♥♥● Noor Falmah This Keeper is one that Nesra has quietly and shyly kept an eye on. After being formally introduced by Senelle, the two have kept some company together, mostly furthering Nesra's study in arcanima and the nature of soul-stones.
♥●Lynn'wo Vahnal Nesra considers Lynn'wo, "Sparrow", as equal to a brother. She respects his work as a magic-performer, as well as a bard. He is a frequent client at the shop, but his company is appreciated outside of business as well.
♥●Samih'a Bhago This newcomer to the 81st struck a big impression upon their first meeting. Mostly because they both mistook eachother for one another's sibling! Charismatic and outgoing, Miha is teaching Nesra how to dance.
●Onuma Ahntifi Like several other in the 81st, Nesra knows Onuma mostly in passing. But the loss of Y'lyfriel has brought them a little closer together.
● E'liah Tia - E'liah's outgoing nature and keen eye for the perfect shades of pink make him a favorite person of Nesra's.
● Ralamano Nulumano - Though she does not know much about Mr. Nulumano, she respects his ability to wear a tailored coat quite well.
● Y'lyfriel Sikah - (Deceased) Nesra's first client after arriving in Limsa Lominsa. Lyfriel sometimes worries the young weaver when she makes self-deprecating comments, but this makes her more determined provide her with the best fashions. The pair spent some time bonding over the loom, and studying basic principles of arcanima. The loss of Y'lyfriel has taken its toll on Nesra, though in front of most people, she shields herself with an upbeat and infallible attitude.
