S U M M A R Y

Hailing from the now frozen land of Coerthas and the Holy See of Ishgard, Reinhold was a Knight Dragoon that has led a rather long life of conflict and grief. Born to a noble family he never wanted for much aside from companionship and to make a difference which brought him to join the Temple Knights when he was old enough to enlist. Of course his passing the tests required to join the Temple Knights at an early age was done while ignoring the protests from his disapproving father. From there life became and endless cycle of going from one battle to the next, resulting in him witnessing the death of countless friends and comrades. This is not to mention the bizarre and dark turn of events that stole nearly two years of his life, during which he was forced to commit unspeakable acts. Despite the effects this has had on him such as a constant difficulty with sleeping at night, the man pushes on to present himself as an ever calm and polite Knight of Ishgard. Most recently with the death of his family and destruction of his estate, Reinhold has become focused on his duties with the Pathfinders. Ironically enough the Company's recent adversary has become a dedicated member and after having fulfilled the duties of an Officer of the Company he has been given the official position of Vice Captain. He may not like the paperwork that comes with it, but the man has risen to the challenge and strives to make sure he does all he can for those who now rely on him and his abilities. Trying to sort out an array of confuses emotions over recent events Reinhold tackles each day head on with his head held high.

H I S T O R Y

Reinhold was born on the 25th Sun of the 6th Umbral Moon in the year 1541 of the Sixth Astral Era. Having been born into nobility Reinhold experienced a childhood with very little want. Due to his father's distance he was primarily raised by his mother Emilie and his manservant Ebraux. Ebruax initially tried to teach Reinhold Thaumaturgy, but while the young lord had the ability he did not have the talent for the art. It became clear quite early on that Reinhold was more at home with a weapon in his hand rather than a focus. He showed promising skill with both a lance and sword, and eventually began to favor the lance though he trained with both. Amongst his other early studies the other thing he took a great liking to was music, much to his mother's delight. Showing an interest in the flute and guitar his mother was forced to find an acceptable tutor, and to appease her son's musical taste she invited a tutor from Gridania to reside with them in Ishgard. For the most part during his childhood he knew the love of his mother and Ebraux, and the stern rejection of his father.

Upon his eighteenth year he wasted no time in taking the trials to enter the Temple Knights and succeeding, though his years of training as a child probably aided in this. He showed promise and was always well liked by his comrades. During his five year period there he gained a lot of recognition and it wasn't too surprising when he slew a dragon during an attack on his patrol. This act of course led to his acceptance into the Order of the Dragoon. The training was difficult and pushed Reinhold to his limits, yet his determination and desire to be just like his grandfather was even greater. By the time Reinhold turned twentyfour he was already accepted into the order and given his spurs and gae bolg. This led to a time during which Reinhold was most at peace during, for this had been his dream. Then Eight years ago, not long after his twentyninth nameday, Reinhold awoke in the Congregation's infirmary having been the sole survivor of a Dravanian attack. So enraged was he by the death of his comrades, and even more so at the fact that he alone lived, Reinhold took it upon himself to confront and slay the wyrm. Seven moons later he departed Ishgard alone in a metalic blue drachen mail specially made to his request. The resulting fight was said to have been able to be seen for malms as the combatants lit up the night with dragon breath and blue flames alike. It was during this fight that Reinhold lost control of his inner dragon for the first time and became to win at all costs, including his own life. He delivered the deathblow to the wyrm while locked in the beast's teeth and drove his lance through the dragon's eye into its skull. This was where he met Coventina, who was stationed at one of the hamlets as a Kngiht and found him still caught in the jaws of the dragon after they crashed to the ground.

Throughout the following years he became close to Coventina and the two even dated for a time, though they ultimately decided to go their seperate ways as she refused to cause problems for Reinhold over him being with a commoner. Still the two remained close and often worked together on missions. Then five years ago Reinhold stepped down from the order following a mission where two knights usurped his authority and put civilians to the sword under the orders of an inquisitor. While he may have left the Order he still remained with the Temple Knights as an instructor to hopeful dragoons. Thus he remained until he was sent on a mission with Coventina's group to survey something that had been found. It was during this mission he and the others disappeared without a trace for nearly two years. During these years he was subjected to a form of brainwashing and was made to commit unspeakable acts as the head of a Free Company known as Eorzea Unexplored. Even though he managed to start to fight the brainwashing several times he was always reconditioned back into his role. It wasn't until he encountered Madsion Brookstone of the Pathfinders Society that he was truly freed. With her and the Pathfinders assistance Reinhold was finally freed of the control and eventually turned to assist them in helping take down Eorzea Unexplored.

Once more free, and having survived a Trial by Combat to prove his innocence in going AWOL, Reinhold decided to remain with the Pathfinders as Madison's knight in hope of protecting the woman to whom he owed a lot. Moons have passed and he has made his place with the Pathfinders. Even though he ascended to Lord of House Allemand, and the death of his parents he has not once decided to return to Ishgard on a permanent basis. Now he continues to help the free company, and until more recently he was an officer of the company. Now he remains to offer his help when it is needed.

House Allemand

House Allemand was founded nearly 300 years ago when they were raised up to nobility by House Hailenarte. It happened during an attack on the Steel Vigil in which the Dravanians were harrassing the garrison heavily. Casualties were high and one particular dragon was riping through the defenders with ease. Ser Bryant Allemand was a member of the Temple Knights at the time and was stationed there to help the Hailenarte garrison. His efforts during the battle which included slaying the troublesome wyrm earned him recognition from the head of House Hailenarte. Blessed with nobility Ser Bryant founded House Allemand and swore that he and his descendents would always stand by the Rose in times of strife. Since then the Lords of House Allemand have remained true to that oath, which has always been easy as their ideals seemed to always mirror those of that Great House. House Allemand throuogh the years has produced many a dragoon and knight since then, their skills with arms unquestionable and their desire to protect the city and its residents always shining above the others. While the strength and image of House Allemand has dwindled in recent years due to the casualties sustained in the Dragonsong War, their zeal and determination has never once faltered. The most notable of the dragoons from the house are more recent in example.

Lord Karlens Allemand was one of the most respected heads of House Allemand and a well respected member of the Order of the Dragoon, earning the title of Argent Dragoon. Grandfather to Reinhold he was a major inspiration for the man as he grew up. Though he died when Reinhold was only four years old the man lived on in the stories told of him by his wife Raina and their daughter Emilie. Lord Karlens himself set one major example for Reinhold which was to always follow his heart no matter what. Lord Karlens had been out on a patrol at one point when he was ambushed by heretics. While he managed to drive the heretics back he was left severely wounded and honestly thought he had been left for dead. As fate would have it though a poor woman who had grown up alone fending off of the land itself came across him while on a hunt. She had always admired the courage and tenacity of the Knights and Dragoons and wasted no time at all dragging the man back to her hovel. She simply went by the name Raina, with no surname to give. Yet she was kind, gentle, and gave no thought to her own welfare when one was hurt before her. At first Karlens played it off that he was merely grateful to the woman for her aid, but it was clear he was falling for her. She treated him like a person, not some lord to be catered to or a knight to be feared, but a person. To hear him tell it he knew he loved her the second she had no problem calling him a pompous ass prancing about in girly clothing. Despite the uproar that it caused, and the constant issues resulting from it, Lord Karlens eventually married Raina and made her Lady of the house. Three children were born to them. Their eldest was their daughter Emilie who developed a love for music and was almost always doted upon. Then were their twin sons Marcel and Merlin. Like their father Marcel and Merlin excelled in martial abilities and went on to be knights. However the two were killed in an attack on Stone Vigil, both merely a year after being accepted into the Temple Knights. With their death that left Emilie as the sole heir to the house and she was eventually married to Trygil Beaumont, the son of a wealthy and powerful merchant.

Trygil himself was very disaproving of how the family had been handled up until that point and disliked Lord Karlens greatly. The man had no martial talents but was an accomplished merchant himself as well as a thaumaturge. He saw those who decided to take up the mantle of Temple Knight or Dragoon as reckless and selfish as such acts had nearly wiped House Allemand from existence. His opinion was that the political standing of the house should always come first. Despite his issues with Lord Karlens and Lady Raina, Emilie seemed to eventually fall in love with the man, claiming there was more to him than her parents saw. Still there was strife between the two as he sought to distance himself from Lady Raina specifically, saying that the low born should never mingle with the nobility. This of course was said while he ignored the fact that his own wife was the daughter of said low born. When Emilie became pregnant with Reinhold he went out in search of someone to teach his son Thaumaturgy and to indoctrinate him in the ways of the church. It was during this search that he came across Ebraux who had been expelled from the Scholasticate for disagreeing on the interpretation of a holy passage with a teacher. Upon learning that even with that disagreement that Ebraux was a very well accomplished Thaumaturge he hired the man on as a family retainer to teach and care for Reinhold upon his birth. Having no where else to go the elezen gladly accepted the position and easily enjoyed his time at the estate. He in particular enjoyed the company of the Karlens and Raina as well as Emilie.

PERSONALITY

APPEARANCE

Reinhold at times can be described as disgustingly polite. Always a gentleman first above all else he remains kind and courteous to most except those who have earned his ire. True to his knightly ways he is quick to intervene on the behalf of another and never lets those around him be insulted or slighted in his presence. While not quick to trust Reinhold does have an Unwavering loyalty to those who have earned it, putting his loyalty to them normally above that of even his home. Perhaps the least flexible part of his personality though is his views on corruption and deceit. Always at odds with the other Nobles in Ishgard Reinhold views those who operate in the shadows and better themselves at the expense of others as probably some of the worst mankind has to offer. So while not the most perfect of Knights, he is definitely in a class of his own. At all times he speaks with a soft, yet slightly haughty tone and with a slight Ishgardian accent. Voice claim: Jim Caviezel/Count of Monte Cristo
Reinhold is on the tall side for most midlanders standing at just a little over 5 fulms and 11 ilms causing him at times when wearing Drachen Mail to be mistaken for an Elezen. Due to his use of dragoon techniques Reinhold is always training physically causing him to be lean and muscular, this though is a bit lost on some due to the massive scarring across his body. Reinhold has a line of scars wrapping from the middle of his back to just under his rib cage from a dragon bite, scars from a Wyvern's claw on his left shoulder, a scar running from his right ear to his chin, and an almost unnoticeable puncture scar on his right thigh. He keeps most of his scars covered at all times, and even hides the one on his face by keeping his snow white hair long and messy. For the most part he keeps his face rather neat, not allowing his white facial hair to grow out too long and is constantly kept clean. All this added in with his deep blue eyes give many trouble in trying to determine how old he is since otherwise he looks rather youthful despite the white hair.
Aspects That Stand Out:
Scar from right ear to chin.
Extremely well kept appearance.
Dragon bite scar on abdomen(Usually covered).

RELATIONS (PC)

Trygil Allemand , Father. ( ) - Father.
Character's Thoughts: "For once I wish he would have seen me for who I am."
Reinhold's father Trygil led the Allemand family from the age of 19 until recently when illness forced him to step down in favor of his son at the age of 59. He was a strict father that always pushed Reinhold to his best, but was always critical of Reinhold's choice to enter the service of the Temple Knights and later the Order of the Dragoon. His opinion was that Reinhold should focus more on the family and settle down with a wife of his own, but was forced to watch as his son put his life on the line constantly while not seeing him take much interest in the women of the Pillars. Now at the age of 62 his illness has almost completely robbed him of his life and currently lives in the estate not leaving his room. Lord Trygil passed away during an arson attack on the family estate on the 13th Sun of the of the Fifth Astral Moon in the the Seventh year of the seventh Astral Era.
Emilie Allemand , Mother. ( ) - Mother.
Character's Thoughts: "I will miss her warmth most of all."
Reinhold's mother was far more caring than his father, and encouraged him where his father disapproved. Even when during his musical studies he showed an interest in the flute, more specifically music from outside of Ishgard, she did not stop him in fact she hired someone to teach him and offered them to stay within the Holy See as a Ward of the family. Even when he left to do what she thought was the unthinkable, she never once told him to stop, but instead told him to follow where ever his heart desired. Now at the age of 61 she currently spends most of her time caring for her husband with his illness and is rarely seen. Lady Emilie passed away during an arson attack on the family estate on the 13th Sun of the of the Fifth Astral Moon in the the Seventh year of the seventh Astral Era.
Ebraux Pidame , Guardian. ( ) - Guardian.
Character's Thoughts: "Closer than a friend, better than a Father. I will miss his guidance."
Ebraux is Reinhold's manservant, and more importantly a father figure. Ebraux was assigned to Reinhold not long after the lord's birth, and thus Ebraux had a very influential hand in raising the man. Like Reinhold's mother Ebraux was always very supportive of his lord, and grew to become quite proud of the man he was becoming. Ebraux's never wavering support through the years has always been a source of strength for Reinhold, especially amidst his father's negativity. During Reinhold's absent Ebraux stepped up to ensure that very few knew of his disappearance and ran the day to day aspects of the family. Ebraux's only worry about his lord is his apparent loneliness, not one to take well to the way most women of the pillars are, and has grown increasingly worried as his charge gets older still with no sign of settling down. Yet he was not remiss when he saw his lord's affection for one who recently helped him and his done much to encourage Reinhold forward. Ebraux was thought to have passed away during an arson attack on the family estate on the 13th Sun of the of the Fifth Astral Moon in the the Seventh year of the seventh Astral Era. However was later have found to have been kept alive by those who perpetrated the attack as a means to keep leverage over Reinhold due to his close relationship to the man.
Madison Brookstone. ( $ ) - Sworn Charge
Character's Thoughts: "Despite what many may think she has a shrewd way of looking at things. One must never underestimate her."
Since her drive to free Reinhold from the control that held in thrall for two years Reinhold has remained grateful to the woman for all that she has done for him. Without fail he has stood by her side since he left Ishgard to assist the Pathfinders in their endeavors, even going so far as to finally joining their ranks. He is quick to dismiss any negative viewpoints of the woman and will always respect her choices, even if it means he's just going to tail her to pull her out of trouble should it find her along the way. While the two have always seemed close he has always been firm in the fact that there is nothing more there than that of a Knight and his charge, to him its completely natural to defend her as he does and views at as his duty to her for the debt he owes her. He is almost always wearing a bracelet with the symbol of the spinner on it, a gift from Madison during the fall of Eorzea Unexplored, as proof of his tie to her and a constant reminder of who he owes his life to. That said it is almost always hidden under protective wrist bands that he has taken to wearing due to how often he finds himself in some form of physical combat. Most recently he returned to Ishgard despite never wanting to set foot in the city again in order to ensure her safety, making sure to fulfill his vow to her no matter what.
Abagail Graves. ( $ ) - The Medicus
Character's Thoughts: "She's reserved and slow to trust, but I could not imagine more capable hand in which I would entrust my own life."
One of the newest recruits to the Pathfinders, and a very recent acquaintance of Reinhold, Abagail has managed to secure the knight's trust. After a period of poking and prodding Reinhold finally managed to learn the secret he knew she kept. Yet even finding out about her past and her identity as a Garlean has done nothing to change his opinion of the woman. To him she is still a trusted physician, and now a close and trusted friend. Even with his moment of telling her secret to someone without her permission, while he believed he did the right thing he still felt terrible and guilty about it. Now the two seem quite lose, often sharing each others company, though Abagail has developed this extreme need to make the man uncomfortable and blush. Still she is one of the few he will turn to when things are going poorly, whether to vent, get ideas, or just release tension with one of their extremely reckless and dangerous spars. Most recently though he has begun to realize that through her constant need to see him smile and be happy that he has developed something for her. He doesn't know what just yet and is still confused with all that is going on, but one thing is for certain they are indeed growing closer.

Having worked through the confusion after he realized what he was feeling Reinhold made it clear to her that he wanted to be with her. Though not in a rush for anything more serious just yet, he has shown no difficulty in saying how he feels to others. He is often seen making simple gestures of affection in public and very rarely goes beyond that if others are around. He has though shown himself to be very protective of her, growing more so as of late and is quick to anger when others judge her for where she is from rather than who she is. As of late with helping her come out of her shell he agreed to her terms should he ever want to seek her hand in marriage, which was that he would fight her without holding back. Even though he accepted this he wanted to wait longer before making such a move, yet the woman's insistence that any be able to do so at any time left a sour taste in his mouth. Eventually her constant reminder of this pushed him to act rashly and tricked her into that very fight for her hand. It came at no surprise to Reinhold when he defeated her, an outcome he had already expected to happen. Now the two are officially engaged and have decided to remain that way for some time.
Himeko Hasegawa. ( $ ) - The Overworked
Character's Thoughts: "I worry for her, she is always working and never seen very often out of the Workshop. I wish she would get out a bit more."
One of the few Pathfinders he had little issues getting along with right away Reinhold easily counts Miss Himeko as a friend as well as an ally. He finds no issues speaking with her, nor with being blunt as is his way for the most part. He also is quite appreciative of the fact that she is one of the few that is not constantly hounding him on whether or not there is something between him and Lady Madison, making him trust her even more. If he were to say there was anything he would take issue with in regards to her it would be her need to seemingly constantly overwork herself. With her recent issues of realizing that her appearance as a Raen was nothing more than a glamour, one broken by her brother, he spared no effort to convince her to remain with the Pathfinders. The now hyuran Sharlayan still holds a place of trust with him and he wishes she would take his advice and go on a vacation. To him she /really/ needs it.
Lahn Aier. ( $) - The Saint
Character's Thoughts: "I don't know how she is still sane after dealing with Zakrin, Nariko, Etherie, and the twins, but Twelve bless her she does deserve sainthood for it."
Lahn is a newer member the Pathfinders, yet in her time since joining the company he has grown to respect her. Even at the beginning the two acknowledge they had similar difficulties with their respective partners and found a rather odd humor in it. He values her abilities as an arcanist and summoner after having witnessed her use of them, as well as her unending patience. He can never begin to imagine how Lahn puts up with those around her but knows the woman is able to do so and still always be perhaps the nicest person he has ever had the pleasure of meeting. At this point though he is beyond certain that Zakrin and Nariko cause her far more trouble than her own twins do.
Zakrin Aier. ($) - Dependable Sword
Character's Thoughts: "I respect him for being able to have a family and fight as he does, not to mention I feel like I can count on him when things get tough."
To Reinhold Zakrin is someone he has just naturally decided to rely on. His respects the man greatly after how well Zakrin was able to be controlled in a situation in which Reinhold was failing to do so, and their resulting spar only gave him a healthy respect for the man's abilities. In addition he envies that the man was able to somehow find enough of a balance to have both a family and still keep taking on mercenary work, a feat that Reinhold believes is beyond his own reach.
Etherie Etoluna. ($) - A Mystery
Character's Thoughts: "I know so little about her other than that she likes her alcohol, and yet I get the feeling there is much hidden behind that."
There is little Reinhold knows about Etherie. He knows she is good with daggers, likes to drink, and either ends up sleeping on the beach or in Zarkin's wine cellar. Yet despite knowing so little he does enjoy seeing the woman around the estate even if that is due in part to him being curious about what he doesn't know as of yet.
Draymon Daystar. ( $) - The Tracker
Character's Thoughts: "I want to like and trust the man, but part of me remains unsure."
Despite all the Reinhold has seen, heard, and knows of the man a part of him can't seem to trust him. This is due in part to an even that took place that ended up leaving a rather sour taste in his mouth, and though there has been no repeat of it the event still lingers in the back of his mind. Still he knows the man to be a good tracker and is always willing to work, in addition he has seen him at work on a job and seems to agree with what he has heard about the man's abilities.
Nariko Natsuta. () - The Child
Character's Thoughts: "Seriously, someone cannot be that empty headed."
Nariko is... well... Nariko. That is about the only way Reinhold can describe the raen who seems to be more of a handful than actual children are. She seems oblivious to the most obvious of things, stubborn beyond all belief, and rather well... childish. Between the nicknames she gives people and the trouble she gets into he often wonders how Zakrin has managed to teach her anything let alone keep her alive.
Shou Lushan. ($) - Marshmallow
Character's Thoughts: "I don't know what is going to kill her first. The drinking, the sugar abuse, or the fascination she has with all things Allagan."
Shou's fascination with Allagan technology has always been something that has made Reinhold keep a bit of a distance from the woman due to his own past, yet she has proben that her Allagan suit Hawkmoth is reliable on several occasions. Aside from that he finds her rather amusing between her ability to out drink almost the entire tavern while cheating by using wards and her endless obsession with sweets that is on the same level as his own pet cat's that has resulted in both being rather on the larger side. Even more amusing to him is her pride in that fact.
T'Zhena Gao. ($) - The Normal Sister
Character's Thoughts: "At first I wasn't even sure she was telling the truth about being Shou's sister."
In Reinhold's mind Zhena is the normal one of Shou's adopted family, which isn't saying much because he can easily admit she isn't actually all that normal. Still compared to Allagan absorbed marshmallow sister she is definitely at least the sane one. He has noted her odd fondness for Au Ra based on how she was one night, but figured that might be something else the two sisters have in common from some of the stuff he has heard about Shou. In the end though he finds having the two around definitely keeps things interesting.
X'Keyqi Tyaka. ($) - The Innocent
Character's Thoughts: "Being around someone so young is... interesting to say the least, especially when it's Keyqi."
The youngest member of the Pathfinders by at least two years, Reinhold has always had a bit of a soft spot for the girl. Knowing things are difficult for her with making ends meet and just going about her day he has not once hesitated in helping her. Whether its listening to her or giving her gil to buy the things she needs he makes sure she has what she needs. Her want to learn Thamauturgy from Shou has him a little concerned as he doesn't want to see her rushing off into things once she has a few spells under her belt, yet at the same time it puts him at ease that she is finding a means with which to defend herself. To him that is long over due when doing business with a company like the Pathfinders.
Eddard Holt. ( ) - The Rogue Pathfinder
Character's Thoughts: "He has always tried to act like he had the better standing, and yet I believe he is just trying to hide something."
During Reinhold's time in Eorzea Unexplored his initial encounters with Eddard were hostile and involved kidnapping the man. Yet now free of the control that had forced him to do such things the relationship between the two can be described as tense, and that is putting it lightly. Though there is a form of grudging respect between the two for their martial skill, they remain at odds at each other for many reasons. As of late that has been seen even more as Reinhold is suspect of the man's activities, most notably his recent outburst and the connection to the man who set Lady Madison's rooms ablaze.

August Update: With Eddard's betrayal Reinhold is now more convinced than ever that the man is most likely going to be their undoing. While he has given his word to not go looking for the man he will not hesitate to cut him down should have happen upon him.
Zigovali Rigovali. ($ ) - The Con Artist
Character's Thoughts: "I dislike his methods despite the results. No good can ever come from taking advantage of others."
The initial relationship between Reinhold and Zigovali was without a doubt strained. The man held a grudge at first against Reinhold for his actions when he was acting under an alias and under an influence he could not control. Yet over the course of Reinhold's presence with the Pathfinders the two have come to a better understanding with one another. While it cannot be said that things are always positive between them they do, for the most part, have a positive working relationship. Each seeking the other out with assistance for things in areas not of their forte.

September Update: Reinhold personally still feels that the Pathfinders are better off without those that use the methods that Zigo utilizes. While they can remain cordial to one another he has openly stated his distaste for what the man dabbles in, though it was not willingly.
Ehfi Rhinsu. ($ ) - The Healer
Character's Thoughts: "She speaks in such a calm and soothing manner that you would not expect some of the things that come from her."
Ehfi is a hard one for Reinhold to get a read on which almost always leads to him getting in trouble. He respects her abilities and her willingness to help without fail, but he has also seen the firmer and darker side of her. Having witnesses her unflinching reaction to his torture of a captured slaver as well as her demeanor when Abagail and he became far too reckless with their spars he knows not only can she take care of herself, but those that upset her should probably get away quickly.
Jin Karasu. ($ ) - The Enforcer
Character's Thoughts: "I remain cautious of the man due to his past, but there is no doubting that he can be relied on."
While Reinhold respects Jin's combat abilities and the drive to do what is needed the two as of late have not seen eye to eye on certain subjects. One of which is situations involving Gares and Abagail. In Reinhold's man he is being far too lax with one than the other, but defers to the man as the company leader. This has though caused Reinhold's faith in the company to sink lower than it had been before, and further distance himself away from the leadership.
Keigan Forgefists. ($) - The Mechanic
Character's Thoughts: "While he could use a few years of instruction in proper manners his heart seems to be in the right place."
Keigan is one that constantly perplexes Reinhold. While at times he things he has the man figured out there are other times where Keigan surprises him. The man seemingly comes off as rough and rather blunt and childish, yet at times he has a way of convincing others that is rather devious. Such as his trapping Shou in a web of words in regards to how she felt about the truth of Abagial, or even his trapping of Reinhold himself in regards to his beliefs on sentient technology. He has learned to trust the man's judgement for the most part, but still reserves his judgement until he is certain there are no more surprises.
Eaubront Shopont. ($ ) - The Drink Master
Character's Thoughts: "He may be good with a blade, but one day his insatiable thirst for alcohol will get him in trouble."
Of all the things that Reinhold has learned of Eaubront it is that the man loves his drinking games. Any time there seems to be a gathering of Pathfinders he is certain you can find Eaubront in the middle of it supporting the idea of a drinking game, often times with a drink already in hand. Otherwise Reinhold respects him to a degree and even was surprised by the man's martial prowess, not thinking much of him at first. Still there are times he finds it difficult to take him seriously, but then again when one is following through on a dare to kiss a man he dislikes, or sleeping with a brothel worker in the middle of a mission it's not hard to see why that is.
Virara Wakuwa. ($ ) - The Silent
Character's Thoughts: "Someone needs to put a bell on her otherwise she is going to give someone a heart attack."
Virara has proven to be a bit of an enigma to Reinhold. No matter how many conversations with the woman he has he still is unable to get a good read on her. He views her lack of shown emotion to be a bit odd, though he can easily see the benefits of it. Still no matter what he may think of her personality or demeanor he trusts her in a fight as she has proven without a doubt that she can be far deadlier with just her fists than most with a sword can. Now if he could just find out who this Master she is constantly mentioning is he would have far less things to worry about.
S'kye S'yoponi. ($ ) - Just S'kye
Character's Thoughts: "Twelve protect the realm from the actions of this woman. She may mean well but by the seven hells destruction follows in her wake."
S'kye is well... S'kye, to Reinhold there is no other way to describe her. All he can do when she enters a room is shake his head and pray to Halone that she hasn't been flying an airship recently now that she has crashed one twice now. Even more worrisome to him is the fact that she has followed in Himeko's footsteps by having a group of mammets to help her, except most of them are rather rebellious and fail to follow orders, or even worse follow them to the letter. Still Reinhold has a warm spot where she is concerned as he does not believe her capable of making it in the world on her own and she has this talent to turn a room fool of upset people into a room full of laughter.
Clara Sabine. ($ ) - The Giant
Character's Thoughts: "She's eager I will give her that, but very much lacking in training. Still being as tall as she is that eagerness alone should solve enough fights."
Clara is a rather straight forward person in Reinhold's eyes. She speaks her mind clearly and immediately without hesitation, which while some may consider a fault to Reinhold is a blessing after the people he is used to dealing with. Every interaction with her has led the man to believe that in a tight situation she is one you want to have close by, then again who wouldn't want someone that stands nearly seven fulms wielding a giant axe with enough force to cleave a building in two?
Sirius Arcanas. () - The Void Mage
Character's Thoughts: "I respect him and the power he wields as well as Madison's stance on him... but I cannot trust someone like him."
The interaction between the two has come a long way from where it had been back when Sirius first came hunting Madison and Himeko. While he still refuses to trust the man at all due to his abilities to use Void magic he still at least holds an amount of respect for him and tolerates his presence. Most of this is due to Madison's insistence that he can be trusted as well as the things that he has done that has caused him to respect him. Still it wouldn't take much to convince Reinhold to turn on the man if it ever became needed.
Josiah Covey. ($) - The Steel Wall
Character's Thoughts: "His heart is in the right place and I respect his willingness to shield others from harm, but at the rate he is going its going to put him into an early grave."
Josiah has proven himself to be the idea of dependable. Always ready for a mission when one comes up, and always putting himself in harms way to protect another. The man's very nature and demeanor make him someone that Reinhold can get along with easily. To this day though he still has no idea how the man can move around with all of that steel wrapped around him, in his mind it is a vulnerability. Yet the man seems to manage it and live through every encounter, and even is able to wrestle while wearing it all, something Reinhold learned the hard way during a spar.
Charce Noirterel. ($) - The Odd One
Character's Thoughts: "Most of the time I am not entirely certain Charce is of a sound mind... yet he means well and can get things done."
The interaction between Reinhold and Charce is an interesting one. For the most part it seems Reinhold is one of the few that has little trouble figuring out what Charce is saying half the time which has allowed him to work with the man. Despite what some people might believe Charce's hidden talents have already come in handy. Acting out of concern for the company he provided intel to Reinhold in the matter of Shou's missing Allagan suit. Unlike others of his profession Charce seems to do everything in his power only to sell out those who are already sullied by their own crimes, and draws the line at selling out a company mate. That added with the fact that he seems to be forth coming with how his information was obtained has let to his being trusted.
Gares Kahzaihl. ($) - Typical Ul'dahn
Character's Thoughts: "The man's ego is only outweighed by his insensitivity."
Initially Reinhold had a much more positive opinion of Gares, had actually thought him at one point someone reliable. Yet as time went on his opinion began to drop. Between his insatiable drive for gil, his constant need to instigate a fight with Abby and then play the victim, and his inability to know where to draw a line has all but robbed Reinhold of any good will towards the man. Most recently a rather crass joke performed by the man once more set Reinhold's other half off causing her to stab Gares and yet while Gares pretended to just be trying to protect her in Reinhold's mind he was just trying to save his own skin. The fact that the man continues to get away with constantly provoking the situation without any repercussions has only served to further anger Reinhold even more.

What I Will Roleplay

Grim and Dark: I enjoy grim and dark story lines and have no issue with some of the more mature aspects of roleplay.
Combat: Combat RP is always okay for me whether its full on combat or just a simple spar.

What I Won't Roleplay

Character Death: I am not okay with any situation that would kill or maim my character without extensive talks before hand and even then I may decline it.
Straight ERP: I am a fan of a character having a reason for everything, and there for just no reason ERP is not something I will ever partake in.
