Savarah Ardyn, as a child, never really had much contact with many people outside of her mother. As such, she is uncomfortable in large crowds and sometimes has trouble forming lasting relationships. She is fiercely protective of those she loves, and will do nearly anything for children and those she considers family. She is very respectful, unless she deems you unworthy of such respect due to your actions. She is very ambitious, yet patient. Forming shallow bonds with people comes easy to her, but she has trouble establishing deeper relations (close friends, lovers, significant others, etc.) simply because she's never had those sorts of connections before. She can sometimes be described as flirtatious, though her behavior is completely unintentional. As such, she sometimes crosses boundaries (and if one were to call her out on it, she would profusely apologize for being offensive).

Sav is normally a very happy-go-lucky girl, and absolutely loves learning new things. As a result of her sheltered childhood, she is rather naive and blunt...often not knowing she's prying or being rude until after the fact. Sav is very much a 'stream of consciousness' character...saying anything that pops into her head (she's working on controlling this, and failing pretty miserably). She is protective of anyone she considers her tribe, and makes fast friends.
Since the abduction, Sav has become a bit withdrawn. She has a need to be considered useful so she's not abandoned or forgotten about. She knows that something isn't right, but doesn't quite know how to fix it.

Savarah is quite the arcanist. She's very passionate about it and has been studying diligently for years. It is rumored that she can even cast without needing her grimoire. She's devoted to improving herself, though her teachers sometimes have to explain things to her differently for her to fully grasp new material.
The Keeper still practices the bow on occasion, maintaining her efficiency with a shortbow as expected of a Keeper from the Shroud. Though arcanima is her passion, she sees the usefulness of having a physical skill as well as an aetherical one.
Savarah was born deep in the Shroud around Gridania to Eleon'to Aspel and Oranta Ardyn. Both parents were proficient archers and were able to support themselves by supplying Gridania's butchers with fresh meat. Her father died not long after her first nameday, and she does not recall anything about him. His death caused the split of their already small tribe, and Oranta and her daughter were left alone.
Beginning at a young age, Savarah was taught by her mother how to hunt by way of the bow. She took to it well, but she saw it as more of a survival tool than as a passion. Her mother was an educated woman, and taught her all that she knew about Eorzean history, the Twelve, basic mathematics, and how to read and write. Savarah was a very ambitious student, and learned quickly. At the age of 8 cycles, Oranta purchased a chocobo for Savarah. Her intent was to give her a friend to confide in, as well as a battle trained mount in case of danger. It was perhaps the happiest moment of Savarah's life. She named the bird Jorah, and they were practically inseparable. It was also around this time that her mother began taking her regularly on her trips to Gridania. Savarah spent most of her time around a particular stall run by an Elezen woman who sold books. Seeing a poor young girl with a desire to learn and not the gil to do so, the woman made Savarah a proposition: that as long as she brought the books back with her on every trip she made to Gridania, she could borrow them. Savarah was overjoyed and thanked the woman many times, setting her eyes on books that contained things she knew nothing about: magic.
Over the years Savarah studied many books in the ways of the arcanist, finally finding her passion. At the age of 16 cycles, Savarah decided to leave her mother and begin her own path. She took Jorah and set out towards Limsa Lominsa in hopes of furthering her studies as an arcanist.
Originally a member of the Knights of the Twelve, Savarah found an honorable cause and considered many of them her new tribe. Her determination to live up to her mother's expectations drove her to become stronger. She made many bonds there and was incredibly happy. She was assigned as a squire to Isielin Danar'i, the Templar of Justice, and the pair quickly developed a strong relationship. The two eventually became lifelong mates. Some time afterwards, the Knights of the Twelve collapsed, and out of the ashes a new organization formed: the Astral Aegis. Shorty after its formation, Savarah was kidnapped by a bandit group seeking information on the Aegis' activities. Unable to provide the information they sought, she was held captive for nearly three moons. Taking advantage of lax guards, she was able to make an escape (killing all whose legs weren't fast enough). Abused both physically and psychologically, the Keeper has reverted to an extremely traditional mindset. Her desire to be useful has doubled, as she feels that those around her will view her as worthless and forget about her if she doesn't prove to be helpful. She had become incredibly hostile to the only two remaining people from her past, and blamed her sister for not rescuing her. More recently, however, Savarah has reconciled with these two, feeling that she wouldn't have wanted anyone to throw their life away in an attempt to save her own.
Shortly after her reappearance, Savarah had found a note near her old home written in an old form of Elezen. Bringing it to her sister for translation, it is discovered that her mate was kidnapped shortly before she was, possibly by the same group or possibly by the tribe that she had cast aside. With no information as to Isielin's whereabouts, Savarah is left with the decision to wait for her mate's return or to honor her duty as matriarch and take another mate to preserve her lineage.
Savarah is now recognized as a skilled arcanist by Maelvaan's Gate, and often studies there.

I love exposing Sav to different people with different backgrounds, tugging her out of her comfort zone. She's very sweet and naive, but I love to insert some IC conflict and drama into her life. She's kinda tragic, and it keeps roleplay interesting and fresh. In terms of connections, Savarah LOVES making friends. She's a very social, people-centric character, and I want her to have all varieties of people to interact with.
If you're running around as a voidsent with the power to impregnate attractive Au Ra just by saying "pudding", I'm not going to be into it. Blantant lore breaking is just a no for me. Lore bending is absolutely okay, so long as it's well thought out and makes sense. I'm not into people blantantly trying to ERP either...Sav's not that kinda girl, I'm not that kinda writer. If something romantic develops over time, great! But don't shoehorn that into my RP; be gentle, I'm a tad shy.
I did a little project where I had 26 categories, and I had to find songs that fit Savarah. Playlist! Songs and their Categories
