Lydix is a literal behemoth of a woman, lacking most traits of other highlander women. She towers over most of her race at a staggering six fulms and four ilms, carrying more muscle that is normal for highlanders. Long days underneath the sunlight has given her a sun-kissed tan that darkens the tattoos across her face and arms, and her face is constantly dirtied from her job as a sellsword. Golden blonde hair is long and unruly atop her head, braids woven in on either side. Due to the years of rivalries and sparring, her nose is now crooked. It leads down to full lips and a small mole dotting the outer corner of the right side of her mouth.
Scars & Markings: Due to an unfortunate event of trying to dispel a curse only to have it end up in an explosion, Lydix's left eye had to be removed due to irreparable damage and and has been replaced by a magitek prosthetic. Her hands are calloused and minuscule scars etch along her body, woven around the much larger scars. From her left shoulder to her right hip is jagged scar, a past axe wound - From her left shoulder vertical to her armpit is another scar - Horizontal beneath her breasts is a line from being stabbed connected from either side of her ribcage - Approximate area of her right kidney is a gouged scar - Right leg is a bullet hole scar.
Clothing: Clad in heavy armor or form-fitting clothes, Lydix is never without any sort of weapon (if she is, it's more than likely that she just rolled out of bed). Her outfits are generally dark in color, usually black, reds, and purples. Being narcissistic about her own physique, she can be found wearing a revealing top, mostly to show off her abdomen and biceps, when she's not on a job of course.

Arrogant, Caring, Stubborn, Reckless
Lydix is much more friendly nowadays than how she used to be, mistrusting and weary of anyone she's met, whereas now she often attends public and social events and can be found relaxing in taverns. It would depend on the situation of how someone has met Lydix, but she's amiable despite her brute appearance if there isn't any conflict happening. When there is and she's involved, she becomes stern and commanding but remains light-hearted until the problem has been solved. With close friends, she's easy-going and confident but also caring and protective. With her lover, she shows utmost adoration and devotion, and anyone who dares hurt them has another thing coming.

A Brief History
Born to an Ishgardian family by the name of Marielle Lydia Normand, the large woman would scrap the name and lifestyle and become known as "Lydix" after the Calamity. Upon meeting a lalafellin sorceress known as Nanarou Garnin in the icy recesses of Coerthas, she was hired as a bodyguard for the woman and be brought to the city-state Ul'dah where she'd soon learn of the turmoil happening. It wouldn't take her long to advertise herself as a sellsword and mercenary, managing to lay low but obtain work when she was not needed by the Maelstrom lieutenant, and convincing the unknowing that she was just another Ala Mhigan looking for work.
As the years passed and friendships were made, it would be discovered that Lydix was a knight from Ishgard, fighting in past wars before abandoning her post for reasons unknown. Growing comfortable to drop her act, she now allows her Ishgardian accent to flow freely. Lydix still often promotes her work in hopes for a more reliable and stable job, though her appearance has been less frequent in the southern continent, having been staying up north to visit her daughter and family.

NPC
Adalard Normand( ♥ ) - Father
Once a well-known and respected soldier of Ishgard, Adalard was injured in battled that left him with a permanent hobble, forcing him to retire from his lancer days at the age of 32. Everything went downhill from there, according to Lydix, when Adalard's penance for injury was used up by the three eldest brothers, leaving Adalard and Viviane with almost nothing to their name. Him and his wife now residing in the Brume, they live out their days helping those less fortunate and disabled. Before her last visit to Ishgard, Lydix hadn't seen her family in nearly sixteen years but decided it was best to not linger for long. It was a short and sweet reunion, but Lydix still overlooks the two, disappointed in how their lives turned out to be. Adalard and Viviane are currently staying with Jori.
Viviane Normand née Proulx( ♥ ) - Mother
Having met Adalard at a very young age, the two happily wed at the ages of 18 and 19, him a new soldier in the army and Viviane an up-and-coming astrologian. She had her first child, Séraphin, only a few months later after their wedding and the Normand family was beginning to climb the ranks of of Ishgard's social class. After Adalard's permanent injury, Viviane retired from her teachings to tend to her husband and family, their social status only going downhill. Payments became unpaid and lack of bodies from the Normand family had them looked down upon and only within a few years, the family moved to the Brume. Viviane now spends her days healing the wounded, no payment required if the victim is unable to provide. She is with Adalard, living with their second youngest son, Jori.
The Normand Brothers( ♥ ) - Jori, Séraphin, and Pierre
Jori (36) - ( ● )
To Lydix's knowledge, Jori participated in robbing their parents of their remaining fortunes and while that may be true in his younger years, Jori grew out of the robbery. Feeling the need to have the Normand name resurface in the ranks of the Ishgardian army, he follows in his father's footsteps of becoming a dragoon and is there the moment his city-state calls him. Within the past five years, he's made a name for himself in hope that one day he can return the family's social ranking and have them spend the rest of their lives in comfortable and luxurious livings. He's lost contact with Pierre and Séraphin, having decided their toxic lifestyles would only hinder him.

Due to her unsafe and unstable lifestyle, Adeline had to be given to an orphanage Until she was eight years of age, where she was adopted by her uncle Jori. Four years later, now 12, she's able to see her mother.

■ "She can crush melons between those thighs."
■ "She's rather... 'in your face', if you irritate her..."
■ "Likes to start fights, that she does. Claims not to deal with a typical bar fight, but you should see the way her eyes-- er eye-- lights up when someone throws the first punch. I think she likes getting her nose broken and bleeding everywhere." - A scrappy male highlander.
◢ Uncommon Rumors -A little more difficult to hear. Use sparingly or ask first!
■ "She says she lives at an apartment, but sometimes I see her laying somewhere under a tree or in the grass-- In full armor. Seems like she's trying to find her place."
■ "Used to linger around the Quicksand a lot. Now she rarely comes around, must've found a reliable job."
◢ Rare Rumors -Very rarely overheard. Please ask before using!
■ "I heard she's a bounty hunter instead of a mercenary, kills people for a ridiculous amount of gil. I think that's why she does it-- for the money. Wouldn't want to get on her bad side." - Anonymous, Quicksand banter
■ "She used to come around here, sounding like any other Ala Mhigan refugee cycles ago, but as of recently has 'formed' a dialect similar to the bluebloods up north. I don't think she says who she really is."
