General Information

An unassuming alchemy student who keeps everyone at arm's length. Little is known about Lynneth, which is the very fruit of her effort and determination to stay out of the radars of others. She always seems to have her nose in a book, be it a tome or a sketchbook, Lynneth is very passionate about her education and is determined to be a chirurgeon who can save lives without using magic.

She can be mostly found at Ul'dah, where she diligently studies alchemy at the Alchemist guild and spends most of her time. There have been sightings of the red haired Midlander wandering through the Dravanian Forelands, spotted by curious hunters of Tailfeather who worry about such a frail looking girl traveling through the Forelands alone.

Appearance

Short, petite and pale, first impressions of the Midlander are usually that a slight breeze could knock her off her feet. (And they'd be right, but she does her best). Lynneth is a meek little thing who is always averting her gaze, rarely making eye contact with her light silver hues. The only feature of the girl's that stands out is her deep red hair — long, well brushed tresses that curl at the end despite her efforts to straighten them. Her porcelain, pale skin is cold to the touch and always covered up as much as possible with modest cotton and silks. Lynneth's fashion sense is one greater than her budget, so she's taken to skipping meals to save for the newest red dress. Her voice is soft and barely ever above a whisper, which matches her appearance and mouse-like nature. Her voice claim is Amber Hood, her role as Paddra Nsu-Yeul in particular.

Personality

Upon first impressions, Lynneth is a timid, awkward girl who isn't great at socializing. This, however, isn't the case — she is simply reluctant to interact with others and is exceedingly distrusting of people, but she allows others to mistake her wariness for shyness so they don't think any ill of her. A practicing chirurgeon, Lynneth is anything but a sweet, gentle healer. She won't hesitate to give her patients an earful and make sure they're aware of their mistakes (if necessary) as she patches them up.

Stubbornly independent, Lynneth rarely ever asks for help outside her education and refuses to, even in situations where she knows she needs to. This isn't born from selflessness, but bitterness and detestment towards the feeling of being indebted to someone. If one were to show her the kindness of doing her a favor without being asked to, Lynneth would return it — often surpassing the kindness they showed her to assure that they have no leverage over her.

Past her unpleasantness, the young girl can be genuinely sweet and considerate to those she actually trusts. She also bears an enthusiastic side, its as if something breathes life into her when she is given the opportunity to talk about her studies and interests — which includes surgical procedures, medicinal flora, art and music.
