History

Formerly navigator of the Grymgohta, Senelle has since left the privateer's life behind her in favor of something more "peaceful". Despite this, she has been been a friend and ally to the 81st Foreign Levy of the Maelstrom more recently, and has been known to join them on occasional adventures.

Personality

Predisposed to be nurturing and kind to those she meets, Senelle is often recognized as a motherly figure to many. She's known to enforce positive self-esteem in the people she cares for and is also quick to become protective of them.

While Senelle almost always seems to be in a sweet mood, she is not without her temper - which shows easily when those she cares for are threatened or make unsafe choices. Those that have seen this side of her have witnessed a more intimidating and hot-headed woman.

Combat/Abilities

Senelle's talent in combat lies largely in her remarkable skill with a firearm. She often carries multiple single-shot pistols and a revolver on her person, and boasts quick and accurate aim.

The woman suffers an aetheric condition that not only involves excessive energy generation, but also has thus far prevented Senelle from utilizing that power with any natural means of magick. With the help of customized technology, however, she has managed to harness her aether indirectly. As a result, Senelle manages to charge special ammunition with aetheric energy as well as utilize arcanima and celestial magic with unique devices.

Senelle saw in Nesra a young girl with great talent, but also a need for guidance, and that drew the older woman to her. Senelle loves her like a daughter, even as Nesra provides Senelle with all the stress and trouble a teenager would. ● ♥ Ainle Goldpaw  : Senelle's adopted son. From the day she found him until his fifteenth summer, Senelle was inseparable from the boy. He was her world. Now that he has set out to live his own life, they write often, and remain quite involved with each other's scientific projects. ● ♥ Noor Falmah  : They met through their care for a mutual friend, and Senelle and Noor have grown ever closer to each other since. The young woman often appears rather mature for her age, and that has both impressed Senelle as well as it has drawn her to Noor. However, Noor still manages to show just how young she is while behind closed doors, and Senelle still adores it. She wishes to keep Noor close. ● ♥♥♥ Y'lyfriel Sikah ( Deceased )  : These days, Senelle can very easily say that Lyfriel was her greatest friend over the short time they knew each other. To the best of her knowledge, they found like minds and kindred hearts in one another, and a passionate bond quickly tied them tightly together. Her death devastated Senelle, but the woman has finally found her closure. Even still, she may not be finished writing to her favorite pen-pal. ●♥ Cailet Fortemps  : After boldly standing between Cailet and a corrupt Ishgardian power that meant to see her life ended, Senelle has tasked herself with caring for this displaced woman. Cailet has subsequently sworn herself to Senelle as her vassal, but Senelle intends to take her on as much more than that. ●♥ Keaira Twinning  : Senelle sees Keaira as having an extraordinary mind and brilliant attitude, now that their trust for one another has led them through more intimate conversation. Not only has she proven to be a joyful friend, but Keaira is also quickly becoming one of Senelle's only confidants for her most personal thoughts. Despite how flustering such an unusual thing can be for Senelle, it's something she's only recently begun to see the value in having for herself. ● ♥ E'lios Nunh  : E'lios and Senelle have bonded over their parental tendencies more than anything else. She came to know his heart soon after meeting him, and has found E'lios to be an extraordinary man and father. They often meet to conspire over how to care for those in need of such motherly or fatherly figures, and it brings them both joy. ● ♥ Eyristyrn Elileynwyn  : Many cycles ago, Eyristyrn was Senelle's lover. As Captain and Navigator, they formed a powerful connection with each other as well as their crew, and it was their love that is responsible for the strong bonds still found on the Grymgohta. Neither women the kind to settle down, their years as crew mates were always dynamic and thrilling. Now, Senelle still considers Eyristyrn her undying friend, even if their romantic spark has long since faded. ● ♥ Z'koa Rhiki and ♥ Lihrit Lightfoot  : After meeting these girls, blood siblings to Ainle, Senelle has extended the same measure of love to them as she has their brother. They have grown very close, and Senelle is quite thankful for that. ● ♥ Lynn'wo Vahnal  : This sassy cat has recently wiggled his way further into Senelle's life. She once took him for an attention-hungry brat, but Senelle was quick to assert herself over him as, among other things, someone who wouldn't take his shite. Since he's straightened up, they appear to enjoy the others' presence, and Lynn'wo even occasionally manages to provide Senelle with an onze of comfort on her most trying days. ● Rhesh'ir Zhwan  : Slowly but surely, these two are coming together to speak more. Senelle only regrets it took Lyfriel's death for it to finally happen. She feels she's earning Rhesh'ir's trust, but has more work ahead of her before he opens his heart to her. Convinced of his tendency toward reservation, she wants to help the man, but she's yet to find the best way. ● Shoshopu Shopu  : Senelle is fond of sweet things, and it seems nothing is sweeter than Shoshopu. Before they ever met, Senelle committed herself to the group effort of aiding this young woman when she heard of a unique affliction Shopu had. Since this problem's resolution, seeing this lovable Lalafell in good health and high spirits fills Senelle with joy. Now, she knows of other struggles Shoshopu endures, and Senelle is all-in on her efforts to help her capture greater happiness. ● Aurelie Argentons  : Senelle's not sure if she trusts this woman, yet. Early impressions are going to be tough to beat, but Senelle's giving this woman one very generous second chance. ●♥ Vermillae ( Faerie )  : Senelle's familiar, acquired nearly two decades ago during her tours aboard the Grymgohta. Her history is, as of yet, a mystery to Senelle. She is a mischievous and indulgent thing, finding pleasure in very much the same way Senelle does: through the stupefied reactions she manages to excite in others. It is, perhaps, how Vermillae has grown to reflect Senelle. ●♥ Eirene ( Formerly Y'lyfriel Sikah 's Faerie )  : Vermillae was apparently very taken with Eirene, as she engaged her quite passionately whenever they shared the same vicinity. Whether their excitement for each other was a product of their ancient histories, or perhaps a manifestation of otherwise unfulfilled affections between their Eorzean keepers, Senelle finds a tempest of both sorrow and joy in the memory.
