Though gridanian born, her dark hued skin speaks of a heritage that has seen the warmer strokes of Eorzea. She has dark blue eyes, with black hair framing her face in a complimenting yet practical fashion. She has a healthy and balanced weight in an otherwise slim frame, a far cry from inspiring mean punches and raw strength. Her usual demeanor has a tendency to appear quiet and thoughtful, though she is quick to smile once people catch her attention. Scars & Markings: Maril has a dark spot under her left-side eye, and her hands have a few lighter scars from what she labels as "Happy accidents" in her lab. Clothing: Maril favours practicality, but it often loses the battle to one of her many robes, or even her work clothes when she is out and about. She wears materials in anything from cloth to protective leather, all depending on the occasion. She is always seen with a simple crystal-embedded wand, made out of metals and bone, stuck to either her belt or hidden inside her coat. Name Maril's Clinic/ShopMaril's Clinic/Shop Maril's Clinic & Curiousities Maril's Clinic and Curiousities is located in the apartment complex within the Goblet's 12th ward. Here you'll find her store, as well as a clinic fully geared to handling up to two patients at once. It comes fitted with beds, washing facilities, a waiting area for relatives and other patients as well as measures to ensure privacy. Maril has studied and trained in both Alchemy and Conjury in excess of ten years, and has practical experience to back her in her assessments. She is capable of caring for illnesses and critical injuries alike, but is of course not flawless. Here is an example of one of Maril's IC posters that can be found in all city states and several smaller settlements. Maril sells: ■ Potions, medicines and medical ointments. ■ Pick-me-up remedies, for those long nights! ■ Poisons, antidotes. ■ Alchemical weapons, for example pepper-sprays. ■ Oils and lotions ■ Tea and coffee ■ Books of a variety of genres, facts and fiction. Her prices are medium->high depending on the extent and rarity of what your character desires. All medical treatments/healing is based on my take on conjury and alchemy in the games lore. I appreciate good OOC communication to be able to convey the roleplay in the best way for those involved. Medical LogsMedical Logs Medical Log The medical logs are not publicly accessible. Theft attempts have to be pre-approved through OOC communication. Not every treatment has a log. ● W'pondahl Amih "Stab Wound" An emergency call went through The Matron's Reach linkpearl. Maril treated W'pondahl Amih for a stab wound in the leg inflicted by a spear. The entry wound was at the rear of the patients left thigh, with a slightly smaller exit wound at the front. The patient stayed overnight and was then discharged. ● Candy "Gunshot" Patient was discovered in an alleyway in Ul'dah. Patient had a gunshot wound to the shoulder. Stabilizing treatment was offered on-scene, patient was then relocated to Clinic #1. Regenerative stimulant for bloodloss and grade 3 painkillers were given. Wound healed with conjury. Additional bruises and minor scrapes treated with unguent. She recruited him for the Matron's Reach, and she is of the opinion that the man is very experienced. She hopes to learn bits and bobs from him over time. She's starting to entertain the idea that he could, one day, become a good friend ● X'beraht Tia "Professional Acquaintance" X'beraht showed up in the Clinic, with a keen interest. Maril regards him as an especially well mannered individual, yet she can't shake the feeling that she's only seeing what she's meant to see. On the count of him working within the mending profession, she has involved him in The Matron's reach. ● Nathaniel of Salem "Professional Acquaintance" A man she first got in contact with over a mysterious, sun-set colored pearl that had been mistakenly used as decoration in a potted plant. Nathaniel has since been involved in The Matron's Reach, and she regards him with a healthy sense of respect. There's no doubt that she finds the man to be of some power. ● Aeron Volkova "Business Acquaintance" Maril met Aeron at the Grindstone, where she chose to spark a random conversation. Such only carried good with it, as Aeron went on to connect her with more people for her then-bubbling idea that would become The Matron's Reach. She'd like to get to know him better. ● Elliot Gardiner "Acquaintance" Maril met Elliot in the Quicksand. She finds him an interesting individual, and she's had one of the most lively conversations, despite the fact that the man appears to be mute. She isn't phased by his lack of speech, and has found that she has several things in common with him. He's also got a terrible sense of humor. ● Nazzhund Solkbyrtsyn "Acquaintance" Maril decided to test the boundaries of her own bravery as she approached this otherwise intimidating-looking Roegadyn. She's thankful that she did, as it has lead to some interesting and funny moments - including her winning a bet. ● Emreg Belthen "Regular Costumer." Emreg came to her in search for a remedy for some of his aches. She does the best she can for the man. ● Simeon Sibaruse "Regular Costumer" Simeon has both been treated by Maril, and she delivers supplies for this adventures on a regular basis now. ♥ Sun'ra Zhawn "The Thief." Sun'ra and Maril met under rather dramatic circumstances, but have since developed into an interesting friendship. Maril's feelings about Sun'ra have been trending towards warmer notes, but she is in denial about this. ● Sylwe Lowen "The secretive one." Fate seems to have sent Maril along for a ride on Sylwe's adventures, in a bid to help a good cause. ● Ruran Vas "Dork" Maril considers her friendship with Ruran to be promising. If you attack my character, I expect either acceptance or communication about the way the fight should be determined. ■ I prefer to adhere to the lore as much as possible, whilst still accepting creative wiggleroom. ■ Please consider asking me oocly first if you wish to introduce a non-canon or fanon concept to my character ICly. ■ I don't tend to paragraph emote, but I generally try to match who-ever I roleplay with. ■ ERP is only alright within a proper context that makes sense for the characters involved. ■ I reserve my right to pull from any RP if there is an excess of bleeding or breaking between the IC and OOC.
