J'rahei Cheiwra, simply called Rahei, was born on the 12th Sun of the 4th Umbral Moon. A cocky, confident bruiser, Rahei fights for her tribe first and her pride second. Her height may be deceptive, but the Seeker is a powerhouse, being the champion of her portion of the Jackal tribe. Never one to turn down a fight, Rahei now frequents Ul'dah not only for trading purposes, but in search of those worthy of her company. Eyes Hair Skin Body Type Voice Right blue. Left gold. The scent of desert sands and campfires follow the woman wherever she goes; she does not spend the majority of her time in cities, only around when trading goods for her tribe, and thusly smells much like how one would expect a desert-dwelling tribeswoman to smell. She does keep herself and her gear relatively, clean, though. As best she can manage. Rahei's voice is rough and guttural, akin to one whose time is spent primarily in the desert around a more savage company. She speaks with a slight growl to her Rs and has a tendency to speak in an odd mix of formal and casual speech. She speaks with a bit of a stutter when flustered. On average, she's one of the loudest voices in the room, confidence radiating from her every word... or cockiness if that's how you see it. The Seeker's face is marred by a scar across the bridge of her nose and another slashing down her right cheek. Many scars adorn her body, as she lacked proper armor for the majority of her life. The freshest ones are stab wounds to her ribs and side, inflicted by rather large knives. These marks seemed to be intended to finish her off quickly but failed to do so. A powerful melee combatant, Rahei has built up a powerful style that utilizes a rushdown style combined with powerful grappling techniques. Her attacks are usually done in quick succession rather than with one single, powerful blow, and the aether within her allows her great movement speed on the battlefield. ♥ Aetheric empowerment. Rahei has a strange amount of aether for someone of her abilities. The amount that is within her is more akin to a powerful caster rather than a melee combatant. She uses these to empower blows within combat, aspecting them to different elements. However, lacking a catalyst, her aether is wild and somewhat uncontrolled. ♥ Desert savage. Having lived her whole life deep in the Sagolii desert, Rahei does not use sneaky, underhanded tactics in battle. She fights with honor, utilizing her own personal strengths to win battles rather than depending on outside sources for power. This is a double-edged sword, as this means many of her battle are fought on her own due a huge sense of pride. WEAPONRY AND ARMOR ♥ Allagan-inspired armor. Thin, though strong works of metal adorn the woman's body. Anywhere on her that is not protected by this armor is covered in thick hides. The armor is obviously inspired by Allagan style, though is not an exact match. Seeing as it was a gift to Rahei, she knows little about it. It contains no magical properties known to Rahei. ♥Cesti. Rahei's trusty cesti are never at her side. Fashioned like small clubs on her hands, the cesti have a core that is especially reactive to aether from the wielder. This allows Rahei to utilize aether in combat far easier than the average combatant. They do not help her control it, and simply act as a focus to center the aether on. ♥Tooth and nail. If weaponless, the Seeker is quite capable with her natural weapons. Her claws are sharpened to fine points quite capable of ripping flesh, and her canines are particularly long and sharp in comparison to most Seekers. She prefers to use her cesti, or any other fashionable similar weapon if possible. Last Updated: 10/25/2017.
