Heavily scarred body, moderate facial scars. None. Flashy and sharp fashion sense, favours reds, blacks, and blues. Akahsh bears a young, roundish face, that would be attractive if not for the personality that came with the package. Along with birth marks natural for Miqo'te, his face is also marred by a small array of cuts and burns, as well as by either a loathsome scowl or an even worse smirk. He keeps his black hair clean, and is wont to change its style just as often as he is to change his mind on more important decisions. Built for dancing around another's blows until they expose their own weaknesses, Akahsh doesn't have the brute strength for heavy lifting or headlong combat. With just a look at his form, however, it's easy to tell that he's had little say in what kind of fights he gets into; from the neck down he is riddled in scars, ranging from cuts to piercings, burns, and even marks distinctly left by magic. Any attempt to ask about them if spotted will likely be shot down before the question is even finished. From his stature, one might expect a more smooth, melodic voice. Oh honey. What rattles out of his mouth is the voice of someone who A- doesn't know what an inside voice is, and B- has been strangled about five times too many. It's hoarse, and laced with a hostile growl that, odds are, are only worsening the damage already done to his vocal chords. Sharp, cold and wintery. Akahsh graces himself with the scent of mints and pine, occasionally with hints of light herbs. But, given his minor habit of drinking himself into a confrontational mess, it's also often for him to reek of whatever drink he's drowned himself in at the time. As mentioned, he has many to boast about, but too much pride to actually do so. And no stories behind them that would even impress anyone. He's not here for pity, and that's all most of his scars would bring upon him. His torso easily bears the brunt of the damage, with little space between each past injury-- but, his limbs and even face have a fair share of their own scars, as well. Self serving. Impatient. But ambitious. Akahsh is a concoction ready to burst with disaster and treachery, always wanting to be on the top of the food chain no matter what the consequences of climbing there will be. He is sharp tongued, and seemingly with an endless abundance of confidence. For those unfortunate enough to get to know Akahsh better, though, that confidence only goes so deep. In solitude or in the company of someone he trusts, Akahsh doubts his purpose in the world as well as his worth. No matter his efforts, he neither feels like he's enough or that he's really himself, but sees himself as in too deep in his deeds to try and change. He might also want them to revere him, but let's not worry about that. Success. Be it winning a fight, getting a position he wants in an organisation, or just solving a puzzle, succeeding in something brings Akahsh great satisfaction. Freedom. In every sense of the word. This Miqo'te enjoys being out in the open, where it feels like the wind could sweep him right off his feet and into the sky. He wants to leave behind any restraints on his person, be they physical or otherwise. DISLIKES Authority. Besides himself, of course. Akahsh doesn't mix well with people with statuses above his own, especially if they attempt to exact their authority on him for any reason (especially if it's for good reason). Slow Pacing. Do you speak slowly? Does a task take a long time to finish? Then Akahsh hates it and he hates you. Questions. You're too nosy. STRENGTHS Ambition. It's a flip of the coin whether his impatience will get in the way of his goals or not, but in the chance that it doesn't, his willpower to reach an end goal can be immense and dangerous. Cunning. Akahsh is not above manipulating others to reach those goals. While not one for putting on a different demeanour to trick others, he will certainly go behind their backs. Focused. Getting Akahsh's attention off of a desired objective may be difficult. Even if promised greater power than what he's aiming for, he won't budge. If he doesn't have a goal in mind, he's a mess, but once he has one? That's the road he's picked and he'll march it til it ends. WEAKNESSES Mistrust. If he's impossible to trust due to his deceitful ways, so is everyone else, right? Self Image. Akahsh is extremely vain, constantly adjusting his aesthetic in an attempt to try and feel comfortable in his own skin. Confrontational. Especially when drunk, Akahsh doesn't answer to others easily, and anyone who questions him risks getting a vicious response or even attacked. When he disagrees, it's a big deal and he will make sure everyone knows he's right and they're wrong. This is a list of the items that Akahsh currently is keeping on him. It is an art form to Akahsh, to outrun his opponents, outmaneuver them, outsmart, and in the end, outmatch them. Not one for brute strength, oft prevailing in a battle by putting in the bare minimum effort to avoid incoming blows and wait for the prime opportunity to strike. ♥ Dirty Tricks. Akahsh is far from above using treachery in combat. From feigning defeat, to dealing low blows regardless of how honourable a fight was intended to be, if it will earn him victory it's fair game to him. ♥ Swordsman. Whatever his history may entail to have gained such skill, Akahsh is adept with a variety of blades, though his preference lays in katanas and rapiers. WEAPONRY AND ARMOR ♥ Light Trappings. Given his style of combat, Akahsh prefers lighter armour; leathers and cloth with spare amounts of chainmail. The less weight he has to flit about in, the better. But when he's looking less for a fight and more to show off, he dons himself in plate and scale armour that's without a doubt meant to make him look more official and fancy than he really is. ♥Crossbow. On every so occasion, a handheld crossbow will accompany Akahsh's person when out on the job. While he's not quite to the skills of a legitimate sharpshooter, if need be he can shoot down an approaching enemy to buy himself some time to flee, or to gain the upper hand once the two clash. ♥"Inherited" Katana. The weapon which Akahsh most often arms himself with and seems to cherish most, is unbefit of one with such an arrogant and unpleasant manner. Simple in design but well made. I'm a 24 year old trans guy who draws and RPs during his free time! Been on FFXIV for a while now but I'm super slow at levelling and still learning about the lore as I go along.
