He is a gentle and hardworking soul with a desire to live an honest life crafting and selling various items, helping the people of Eorzea however he can with his wares. Mikail’ra has a well-defined facial structure and piercing silver and blue eyes - with heterochromia being a common trait found among Miqo’te. His hair is short and silvery, with faint blue highlights.Mikail’ra also boasts facial tattoos, gained from a familial rite of passage as he left to become independent. They are thought to bring him closer to the moon. Like many adventurers, Mikail’ra is built athletically and is very sturdy. He possesses a large amount of stamina stemming from long periods of travel and crafting, and proves useful in combat situations. Mikail’ra is a man of few words when not with close company, yet his voice is clear and gentle. When singing or shouting his voice is unexpectedly strong and powerful, though these circumstances are few and far between. With most of his time spent outdoors, Mikail’ra carries the scent of the forests with him; such as fresh rain or pine trees. Sometimes the scents of recently-cooked dishes may linger on him. Due to his crafting professions and white hair and tail, he attempts to stay clean as much as possible. Mikail’ra has acquired various scars from rough play with many siblings as a child, with more noticeable ones situated on his hands and fingers via crafting. Calm. Perceptive. Idealistic. Like many Keepers of the Moon, Mikail’ra is not one for being the center of attention, with his reserved attitudes at first glance possibly being mistaken for aloofness; however under this careful exterior beats a warmer heart with a worrying habit of being unable to say no. He is a hard worker with a tendency to become so enthralled in his work that he may ignore his own needs or health, often incredibly loyal to those he remains close to. Mikail’ra tends to find himself easily lost in his thoughts without work to keep him busy, being a chronic daydreamer - often pausing during his travels simply to stop and admire the scenery around him. The Miqo’te also has the habit of being politely stubborn at times as a result of having a fairly strong set of morals. When growing closer to Mikail’ra, he becomes more talkative and enjoys sharing stories of his travels and his family, but also does not mind comfortable silences at all. He may surprise those he is close to with thoughtful gifts, being better with actions rather than words and preferring to listen instead. Mikail’ra also has a small comedic streak with a dry sense of humour that may come out of nowhere, but notably most when he is drunk. His dodo companion, Pudge.Bought by Mikail’ra within one of his first few months of independence from his family, saving him from slaughter. The little dodo is almost always seen following him around on his adventures. Mikail’ra often talks to the bird, despite a lack of response. Pudge is strangely small and well trained for a bird his age. Gathering and Crafting To what may be considered tedious and boring to some, Mikail’ra highly enjoys every step of each process and their resulting rewards. He shows vast appreciation to high quality products, no matter how ‘useless’ they may seem. DISLIKES High Temperature Environments Being a Keeper of the Moon, Mikail’ra has spent much of his life nocturnally or spending daytime periods shaded by trees or the indoors. He cannot operate well especially in desert environments. Needless ViolenceWith his most preferred role being a healer in combat situations, Mikail’ra prefers to solve conflict productively with non-violence wherever possible, believing that not doing so is a waste of energy and emotion. GreedThe overindulgence of frivolous things or overspending induces anxiety in Mikail’ra, as a result of hailing from a poorer background; he believes that such products cannot cause lasting happiness and can cause people to turn on one another or exploit nature. STRENGTHS Extremely Patient.It is common for those to have known Mikail’ra to have never before seen him angry. Supportive Whether its in combat as a healer, providing crafted items or simply lending an ear to listen, Mikail’ra is extremely loyal to those he is close to. Optimistic He is sturdy in both strength and character, and remains quietly positive all he can. WEAKNESSES Self Sacrificing Mikail’ra can be a borderline workaholic at times, to the point of being too focused on other’s needs to be unaware of his own. As a result, he is prone to burning himself out. Travel sick. Incredibly ironic for a man originating from a family of travellers; Mikail’ra does not fare well with travel not on foot or teleportation, but can try and suffer through it for short periods. The Miqo’te was born into a large family of nocturnal travellers, notorious throughout The Black Shroud and La Noscea, who made their living through crafting and gathering. From early on, each child had the responsibility of learning and teaching younger siblings valuable crafting and gathering skills to be able to leave the family and start their own. Teens Approaching his early teens, Mikail’ra had the additional responsibility of teaching his younger siblings, reinforcing his own knowledge as adulthood came nearer. At age 18, he independently completed various trials and hunts in succession, earning his facial tattoos and starting his journey away from home. Adulthood Mikail’ra currently spends his days moving from place to place in Eorzea, gaining income from items he has crafted along with errands for those in need.
