Describe myself? I am kinda tall, kinda not. Middleish tall. My hair is short because it gets messy if it isn't. More messy. It's mostly black but you can see brown if the sun is on me, too. It's fluffy and clean. I make sure of that! Since I don't know what else to do with it I keep it kinda short. There's also no dye in it. Seleska dyed her hair a lot--she's my sister. I don't think I want my hair to be pink. That is a little bit crazy.

There are no scars on me anywhere, only my tattoos! Papa gave those to me. He said they would keep me safe and protect me. They don't come off, but I sometimes wear body paint, too. That comes off. I don't do that too much. Overall, I'm not... too big? I mean, I am pretty strong and it shows! But I'm not Roegadyn tall. Other Highlanders can still be taller than me. Roegadyn girls are more muscular, usually, so I'm not giant. Not too many people compliment me. I guess I look scary or something? Oh, and Seleska is way bustier than me. Maybe that's why?

I like to wear earth colors when I get to pick. They remind me of home--my old home, not my new one. Even though they are kind of the same colors. You will probably find me wearing something that isn't really bright colored unless there is a special reason. I like like to wear white, though. There are a few things I have in that color that are some of my favorites! It doesn't always have to be big and bulky. The thickest things I wear are my boots usually. Most of the time I put on things that are open and let me move easily, or I might pick something kinda traditional from back home.

Biography

Well, I was little when the Empire took Ala Mhigo away. Mama took me away from there before they could get us, too. She wasn't happy anymore after that. I was still little, so I don't remember knowing what was going on anyway. We just moved from our home that had walls, and a roof, and my toys and stuff--and we went somewhere that was just a tent. A lot of tents. A whole lot of them are still there outside the city! They called it Lost Hope. Mama said money was hard to get. She told me I needed to stay out of trouble and that she would take care of us. Taking care of us put Seleska in her belly. So, I got to be a big sister! I took care of her while Mama worked.

Later on, when we were older, we met Papa! He wasn't our real Papa, but he could have been if he wanted. He was a Monk from before. He said the old king had tried to get him and all the other ones, but he got away. Everyone else was gone. He said that we were strong, and that one day we would get our home back. We had to be ready to go get it, so he helped us. Papa trained us both how to fight. I don't remember being good at too many things, but I was good at that! I practiced even when he wasn't teaching. It was fun so I didn't mind.

He told us about the Empire and the things that they do. He told us they take everything they want, take things that we have and treat us like beasts. He had a helmet from one soldier he beat in a fight and had me look at it. I remember looking at it all the time and thinking about the things he said. I pretended I was punching that stupid helmet whenever I trained. I hate that thing. I get mad any time I see one.

When we got a little older and had been practicing for so long, Papa said he didn't have any more to teach us. He looked sad, like he wanted to share more. Instead he left. He told me that I had to take care of Mama and Seleska for him. There were people back home who were tired of the Empire and were going to get together and throw them out. Papa told me to be good and that the next time I saw him Ala Mhigo would be free again. I never did find him again, but Ala Mhigo was freed. I like to think that he helped a lot somewhere because I sure did. I couldn't have done it without him.

There was a little bit where I worked on an airship. I always wanted to try sailing, but this doesn't count. We went all over the place. Doma, Vylbrand, even some place up way past Ishgard. You'll think it's crazy talk, but there is a place where the mountains floated away and are in the sky now. All sorts of weird things and even Ishgardians are up there. I hope they don't fall off. Their bridges are terrible. There was this one place that I liked a lot, though. We didn't get to stay too long, but I saw there were all these robot-monsters walking around. They looked like they wanted to pick fights, and the captain wouldn't let me go! I really want to go back there.

Then, not too long ago, I was recruited as a Flame soldier! It is nice to have something to do again. There is always something. Move things back and forth, do a bunch of exercising. Wimpy exercising. I already do a lot more than they tell me to do... just because. I have to get used to some things, though. At least I am not the only clumsy one around.

Uh, there was a lot of boring stuff I skipped. Nobody wants to hear about living in refugee tents and being hungry. I will tell you more stuff later.

♥ ♦ Inisian Holte - Pretty much my best friend. I've known her forever. She is pretty fun, but sometimes needs help getting home.

♥ ♦ Seleska Sweet - My sister! I met her when she was born. I didn't really have a choice about that! We grew up together, but when we were teenagers she started to move a lot. I don't know where she goes.

♦ Saitou Yoshida - He is a bounty hunter and I bump into him a lot. He says he isn't after me but I donno. He is nice, though. I like him a lot.

♦ Alexander Alfonso - I really, really liked him. He called me 'Ru' and I really miss him. I wish he would stay where I can keep him safe.

♦ Benedict Synnick - I met him just outside the Quicksand. He has a favorite spot there and that's where I find him mostly! We are getting pretty close, too.

♦ Kotaro Arai - Ko! I met him in the same place I met Ben! His shield has the same flowers the Songbirds put everywhere. He makes a lot of fun decorations and figurines. He also makes brownies!

♦ Heironymous Wrex - He is a friend of Inisian, so he's a friend of mine. I think he cares about the things that are bothering her. Even if she doesn't tell us what they are.

♦ Kale Aideron - A commander in the Immortal Flames. I saw him win a huge fight against a bunch of other Grand Companies, then he gave me a job. I guess I'm Flames now, too!

♦ Skylar Steelheart - She is the Commander's wife, I think. I bump into her every once in a while and I don't think she ever remembers me.

♦ Kegashiyo Thoth - This guy is friendly. He is a Flame soldier who showed me around. If I have questions he probably won't mind if I ask them.

♦ Rhuli'a Kanjun - I don't know this guy too well. He wants to be the best Monk ever. I hope he gets to be. That sounds fun! Maybe I can teach him something. He asks me for help doing things, like guarding his cart all the way through the Fringes. That was fun!

♦ Avlia Swift - I first heard about the New Fist of Rhalgr from her! I even watched her duel with the Commander. Maybe I'll get to fight her sometime, too.

♦ Raniall Lightstone - LT. I donno much about him yet, but the dog with him is a captain. He says its so someone would get in big trouble for hurting him.

♦ Cassia Tarquinius - ... maybe she is the only good Garlean in the world. She is a private in the Flames for some reason, but people yell at her a lot. I donno why. She makes a lot of sense from what I can tell.

♦ Rayla Black - I donno about her. She can do magic and is LT's girlfriend, I think. Other people act like she is always doing awful things, but I never see that happen. She seems all right to me.

♦ Saitou Yoshida - He is a bounty hunter and I bump into him a lot. He says he isn't after me but I donno. He is nice though. I like talking with him.

♦ Shining Feather - She is Rhuli'a's friend. If he thinks she can keep him safe, then she must be pretty strong. I didn't think he needed any help with that.

♦ Flora Valerian - Flora works with Rhuli'a as a fighter, and she's pretty good! She loves Rhalgr and tells me all about Him. I wouldn't mind getting to see her more.

♦ Falken Reddwing - He was on the same job with Flora and I with Rhuli'a. He has his own griffin! The last time I saw him he looked kind of sad.

♦ Cornelio Alighieri - I met him at the docks in Vesper Bay. He is very nice to me, and I donno what I did to deserve it. We took a trip to his office in the Mists, and I got stuck there for a few days when he got busy with work.

♦ Katharina Balk - 'Blue!' This lady is the Commander's sister and she runs a company with an airship. I donno what they do with it, but she is nice. I like her a lot.

♦ Ka'votu Roya - She works with Blue I think. That's where I found her. I watched her poison somebody on accident, and then get poisoned on purpose by somebody else... I'm never gonna drink anything she gives me.

♦ Anton Borneheld - A friend of Blue's who likes to wear a mask to hide his scars. He doesn't have to, I don't think. He wants to teach me how to use swords. I donno why. I feel like he's gonna be sorry about it.

♦ Vezh'a Dubhslainne - This guy! I might have to beat him up to stop him beating himself up. If I have to cheer him up, then I guess I will.
