Character

General

Surilian Blu is a chaotically confused yet blissfully content Miqo'te. After stowing away on a vessel, Surilian literally stumbled onto the continent of Eorzea on her head. After help from the locals, she set out to find a new life. While on this journey to find her place in life, Surilian also tries to locate her parents, whom their names were never disclosed to her. Following rumors from her guardian tribe, she sets to find this place called Gridania. Sheltered away by her guardians, Surilian is clueless about Moonkeeper habits, Eorzea as a whole, nor why her parents names and lives were always spoken in a harsh whisper.

Appearance

Surilian can be seen wearing just about anything she deems fashionable at the time. Though she prefers to have free movement of her legs. She is noted to have scars under her clear cyan eye. Any question of it will be answered with ignorance or sunny re-directive dialogue. She has two toned eyes. Her left is golden and is her favored eye. The right eye is a cyan shade but clear as the water she favors. She prefers a bow most of all, which she happily names Miasma. She loves hats so may have a tendency to sport a new one from time to time. Her hair is a lavender shade though sparkles in the right light showing varied shades of purples. She prefers to keep them in low pigtails and her bangs short to able to see. Though she keeps her sides longer and loose in order to use them as a curtain under certain circumstances when she feels shy or hiding something.

Behaviour

Carefree, happy, energetic, childish, innocent, dreamer. These words describe Surilian well, though dreaming is something she prefers to keep to herself since her guardians wanted none of it. Though she is carefree, she also holds back a rather darker nature. Perhaps its pent up aggressions from the past that surface with the right trigger word, or even the right event. Though for the most part Surilian is outgoing. She does have odd shy moments. In smaller groups she is content, but in crowds she gets overwhelmed and shy away. She has a tendency that when overwhelmed or bored, she will quickly hide to a far corner or even leave a area completely to steady her thoughts. All in all, Surilian is a girl who only wishes to be liked and accepted which can mean her trying to hard.

Combat

Surilian is a archer through and through. She can't live without it. Hunting is second nature and a thrill that can't be matched. Though she is open-minded and curious about other methods, Miasma, the bow will always be her first love. At times Surilian may enjoy close combat, but prefers to wield any item close by. Be it a vase, rock, or an item in her bag, her foe best be prepared to dodge.

Friends & Acquaintances ● Rhesh'ir Zhwan – Surilian doesn't know much about this man except that he fished a ton, was a bard that she always dreamed of being, and had a stylish hat. But after a slight mishap in her mind. She has grown fearful of this mysterious Miqo'te ● Y'lyfriel Sikah – Surilian was in awe of meeting her. She thought her beautiful, graceful, and very smart! Unless..she was on a chocobo. She never was interested in speaking to this female Miqo'te until Lyf was sent in to heal her eye. After recent events, Y'lyfriel continued to show her kindness and felt grateful. If it wasn't for this woman, Suri would have sprinted into the Ul'dah desert and let herself scorch. She worries about her though greatly. The woman always looks so drained. ● Tahla'li Tayuun – Though their first meeting was a rough start(miss trust and alot of glaring at her), Surilian not only was determined to have him like her but found enjoyment in tormenting him. After some time, the grouchy Tahla'li now smiles slightly her way. She was heart broken for a small while to hear Tahla'li prefered males but was over joyed when he meet Rah'na and how close they have gotten in such a small time. She prays for the best. ● ♥ X'linwh Tia – After a instant declaration that she was his mate, Surilian was left confused for a while. But after a battle though with the Primal Infrit, She felt distant from everyone. Even Lin now scowled more when he would smile. Though he is still playful with her, she now doubted he had any such interests and her own heart wavered. ● Onuma Ahntifi – Surilian has nothing but respect for this headstrong female. Though she hasn't sat down to get to know her, she knows Onuma to be a good leader and caring. Shes also use to Onuma's scoldings and dreams of Onuma being her mother. Even after the turn of events Suri considers Onuma her favored. ● Lotan'to Jiub – Surilian was in awe of his kindness from the start. He showed care and even took the time to talk to her. Even though his gestures were small, handing her a blanket or even a waterskin, Surilian never forgot it and cherished it. She loved the fact that not only did he let her talk.....he actually truly listened. After the battle though Lotan'to was injured incredibly, leaving Suri with sinking guilt for her actions. She cares very much for this male and holds his regard above all else. ● ♥ Kodaro Ba'rococo – She met this interestingly unique Sunkeeper Miqo'te while pretending to be a tavern wench. Surilian had watched him a few times order a cider and just had to get him another before he even got up! Oddly some how, later on he ended up joining the group. She found him irresistibly adorable, if not handsome. His interesting speech was like poetry to her bard heart and for a time tried to use the poor man to stir X'linwh's jealousy. In the end she finds him just as curious as she is and a good friend. After battle events, Kodaro, Rah'na and Suri pinky swore to not let their past hold them back and made a pact to reach their dreams while in Ul'dah. Regardless of this promise Suri is unsure she could keep it but for Kodaro she braves a smile and tries. ● Rah'na Lihzeh – He was introduced to her as X'linwh's mate, which fueled her jealousy a lot more then she wanted to admit.She later learned it was some cruel joke aimed at Tahla'li which only turned her rage temporarily at X'linwh. After Rah'na and her joined for a brief moment against Lin, Surilian changed her views on Rah completely. She now spends a bit more time in his presence and they even swore a pact with Kodaro to see to their dreams to the end. ● Schezar Stormbreaker – Pretending to work at the inn, Surilian met this interesting Hyur. He was large, strong, and had something in his eyes that peeked her curiosity. Though it was brief, Surilian tried to befriend him in her usual manner. Stalking. She truly wishes to know what lurks behind those eyes. ● Dawson Colwell - After seeing this Hyur from time to time, Surilian learned his had great power after he stopped a fight between X'lin and Tahla. She knew nothing of him though she would watch him from the shadows while he interacted with the others. After a brief moment he seemed rather nervous in her presence. She wondered what she could have done but tried to be friendly to the strange Hyur either way. ● Onyx Zircon - Surilian stumbled upon this interesting Miqo'te male after she woke up to find the group had all left her for a small while. He was oddly calm and accepting of her excitable behavior. Though this hand to hand fighter seems to be a mute, she understood him pretty well. He promised to show her around Ul'dah once she arrived. Surilian was more then excited to let this male show her around.

Enemies & Rivals ● Liana Blu - a wicked girl that has brought nothing but trouble for Suri since the beginning. Suri can't stand her and is ashamed to even know this girl. Regardless that Suri calls her sister, she wished she never dreamed of having one.

History/Timeline

Surilian has been away from her home for a month now. What is known is she snuck into a crate of goods bound to Eorzea. She hales from the Shrine Valleys of Menphina, located deep in the jungles of Meracydia and that her parents love was forbidden. For a while she was a rejected abomination though still painted her face as a warrior out of respect. In time though things changed in the shrine and she was unable to adjust. With the change to great for her and the merchants from abroad in the shrine, she concealed herself as goods.
