Character

General

Intelligent, clever, and welcoming, Mijisaa Qisaa is a learned and excellent businesswoman. Her family, the Nanadaro Family, has owned a textile business for several generations. The Family is very involved in all major Ul’dahan business and in the government, leading some to suspect illicit activity. She is the youngest of three children and has always been the baby of the family. Mijisaa is quite the city girl, rarely venturing beyond major towns or trading outposts and never traveling alone. She has been married to Pipituu Kipichuu, a businessman and smith, for ten cycles. Trained in various crafts, Mijisaa is a talented weaver and is also accomplished in alchemy.

Appearance

Mijisaa is as small as Lalafell women come, not even three fulm tall without shoes. She prides herself on being fit for her age and health is of great importance to her. Her long purple and light blue hair is usually pulled back so she can focus on her work. She often must wear glasses over her green eyes after years of needlework and reading has strained her sight. Mijisaa's darker skin is the product of lots of sunlight, which she loves to bask in even in the worst of the Ul'dahan heat. Most usually she wears her work clothes about Ul'dah as a constant representation of her business dealings but during the holidays she is known to wear costumes while doing charity work.

Behaviour

Miji (her family nickname) is incredibly friendly and loves to meet new people. She is immensely proud of her hometown and is very involved with the refugee and orphan charity causes of the city. Due to her privileged lifestyle though, she can be demanding because she is used to giving orders. Miji can be a bit of a hothead at times, particularly if she feels those she cares about are threatened. Though friendly to all, she only gives her true trust to those who earn it. She tries to see the best in people though, as a clever and shrewd businesswoman, she understands that most people do not seek to only do good. Mijisaa prides herself on being able to tell the good apples from the bad as she is a great judge of character. Though bubbly on the outside, she can be somewhat of a pessimist. She is always seeking to surround herself with trustworthy, capable people because she knows such people will help her when the time comes.

Combat

As a young Lalafell, Miji had a variety of tutors including one of the arcane arts. All of the Nanadaro Family members are trained thalmaturges as a self-defense measure but Miji was trained in the newer skill set. Though it is not public knowledge, she can hold her own in a conflict if necessary. She would not likely admit it but she loves a good fight because it makes her feel powerful and in control.

Friends & Acquaintances ● ♥Pipituu Kipichuu – Mijisaa has known Pip well over half of her life. Though they come from very different backgrounds, she quickly fell in love with his brashness and clever mind. She admires his continued devotion to helping the orphans of their city. They wholly understand each other, inside and out, and often respond to situations in the same way and finish each others sentences. Friends as children and teenagers, they have now been married for ten happy cycles. ● Rhesh'ir Zhwan – Mijisaa met Zee with her husband while inspecting a Starlight Tree. The three had dinner and Zee enlightened them to his band's tale over the meal. She can tell he is one of those mysterious types who is uncomfortable sharing his true thoughts, and that he knows more than he lets on. She hopes to become his confidente and friend because she thinks it's clear that he needs an open, non-judgemental listener in his life. ● Surilian Blu – From the moment they met, Miji could tell Suri was carrying a lot on herself. Though she can't tell what it is, Miji is certain that Suri has a secret about herself that she doesn't like to share. Since then, Miji has taken in Suri lovingly, trying to support her as an older friend and as a master weaver. Miji wants to see Suri succeed as a weaver if anything but to give the young girl confidence in her own skills. Over dinner, Suri gradually opened up to Miji and Pipituu about her travels and her feeling about some of her travel-mates. Miji hopes to strengthen the bond between herself and Suri so the girl has someone to turn to when she needs help. ● Kodaro Ba'rococo – Friendly from the start and with an impressive vocabulary, Mijisaa warmed to Kodaro from the start. He was open with his background and it turned out that Mijisaa knew his adoptive family from her work with the Weavers Guild. When Pipituu went missing, Ko valiantly aided Mijisaa in rescuing him from a goblin camp. He has her complete trust after the incident and she looks forward to continuing to grow that trust in the future. ● Oliwat Kokiwat – Though they met under the trying circumstances of her husband being missing, Mijisaa knew Oliwat’s name from The Rattlepack Guide she so fondly reads. His impressive thalmaturgy skills aided her and Kodaro in rescuing Pipituu. He has also won her trust after that day and she expects they will see each other again soon after Pip recovers. ● X'linwh Tia – When she first met X'linwh, he was with Surilian and didn't seem to have a voice. After taking her and Pip to meet Dawson and other friends, suddenly his voice returned! Most of what Mijisaa has learned of X'linwh has come from Zee since she only met the miqote in passing at the Starlight Tree Debacle. He struck her as a young kit in that moment though, from Zee's tale, it seems he's had a decent amount of hardship in his short life already. ● Rah'na Lihzeh – Their first meeting was quite eventful since Rah'na was in a Starlight Tree! Though his fall broke some presents, Mijisaa found his youth and playfulness endearing. She can tell he's young and full of energy but he seems to have a bright spirit about him. ● Tahla'li Tayuun – Tahla'li was also part of the Starlight Tree Debacle so Mijisaa tends to lump him in with the younger, troublesome group of miqote with Rah'na. Future meetings will help her decide on his character more. ● Dawson Colwell – It was clear from the start to Mijisaa that Dawson is an 'old soul', wise beyond his years. He is rather pensive and she senses an intelligence in him that only other learners can pick up on. THough he spoke mostly of his homeland and trees, Miji found their talk relaxing and insightful. ● Schezar Stormbreaker – Very polite and quiet, Schezar was introduced to Miji and Pipituu during their dinner with Zee. He had the air of a fighting man, serene though troubled by past and future conflicts. She isn't quite sure what to make of him yet.
