GENERAL INFORMATION

Kanako Moonweaver was once thought to be dead. While many accepted this fact, others knew something was amiss when a woman named Marigold came around. After all, she looked just like Kanako aside from a few changes. With the sudden return of this woman, she has taken what she has learned and slowly becoming a seemingly stronger woman. She hopes that she can finally forge a new and final path from herself and remain on such a path. She is still with The Limitless Reliquary and although she considers herself a relic hunter, she hopes to do more with her life.

PERSONALITY

Unstable. Compassionate. Headstrong. Kanako has been through quite a lot in her life and it certainly shows. She has a difficult time with dealing with very strong emotions such as sorrow and anger, this can lead her into going into a deep depression or temper-driven meltdown. She is a very compassionate person and it often leads her to think that it’s always her fault if something goes wrong and it’s because she is so compassionate that she has to deal with such strong emotions and unfortunately, being unable to deal with them. Overall, Kanako is a nice person to be around despite her little quirk and she’s the most loyal friend one can ever hope for. Because of her often seen as “blind” loyalty, it brings her to being a bit too head strong and not thinking about a plan thoroughly. She thinks of one outcome and what might be at stake and that’s essentially it.

LIKES Strong Alcohol. What alcoholic doesn’t? Somnus. It’s quite addicting. Protecting Others. It makes her happy and boosts confidence. Children. She grew up around them and always wanted to be a mother.

DISLIKES Failure. She always blames herself. Betrayal. One of the most painful things to go through. Axes. No. Racism. What’s the point?

STRENGTHS Multilingual. She can understand it and speak many languages, but not write them. Agile. Comes with the dancing. Politics. It pays to know how it works. Loyal. She’ll never leave your side unless she is betrayed.

WEAKNESSES Alcoholic. What better way to ignore strong emotions than with alcohol and lots of it! Unstable Emotions. She doesn’t know how to properly deal with them. Competitive. She just wants to win. Trust Issues. You may be the most trustworthy person, but she won’t see you as one for a very long time..

COMBAT & WEAPONRY

Training as a lancer since her teen years, she uses her agility and flexibility to evade many opponents attacks and even deliver attacks that are least expected. When it comes to brute strength, she considered to be on the weaker side for a lancer, but that doesn’t mean one should underestimate her.

Abilities ■ Well Versatile: Kanako is able to adapt to almost any situation and can even use her surroundings to her advantage. If given an axe, she’ll figure out fairly quickly how to defend herself and figure out the basics. She is less likely to win with an axe, but she at least knows how to use it. ■ Agile: What she lacks in raw strength she makes up in flexibility. Even in regular armor, she is able to use her flexibility to evade many attacks and even deliver attacks from strange stances. ■ Stealthy: So long as she isn’t in armor which would otherwise make a lot of noise, she is fairly stealthy and will often use this to her advantage, especially when tacking someone or something.

Weaponry ■ Lance: She has broken many lances but hopes she finally found the one which won’t break. Unique in design, it suits her fairly well. ■Steel Daggers: They are usually hidden on her person and will most often use it to get quick attacks or distract her opponents. ■Steel Revolver: Given to her by Tray’ju, it is likely the only thing she thanks im for. She’s starting to use it more often and improving her aim.

FAMILY Mamiko Moonweaver ( ♥  ➤) - Sister Error creating thumbnail: File missing They are fraternal twins. The only appearance similarity they share is their face shape, horns and tail. A strange pair to say the least. Mamiko is more formal, Kanako is more brash. Kanako goes to her sister for advice from another person's perspective. If it wasn’t for Mamiko, Kanako would likely have a difficult time remembering everything and keeping things organized. Despite them being the same age, Kanako sees Mamiko as the younger sister. She is someone who is nothing but innocent and a hopeless romantic. Kanako is very protective over Mamiko and won’t allow her to date anyone without her approval. Yumia Starcatcher ( ♥ ✖ ) - Adoptive Mother Yumi was the one who took care of Kanako and Mamiko when they were only babies. She treated them like they were her own and taught them the life skills that they needed to know. Yumia grew ill as Kanako’s corrupted aether grew worse and when Kanako was pronounced dead, Yumia soon followed. Sakura Starcatcher ( ♥ ) - Yumia’s Daughter Only six cycles old, she is full of energy. When Kanako is around, she’ll often play with her and braid her hair. To Sakura, Kanako is like her second mother. After the caravan disbanded, Sakura ran away and was soon taken in by an Ul’dahn orphanage. FRIENDS Sun'ra Zhawn ( SYMBOLS ) - The Bandit ”In a strange sense, you’ve alwasy been there for me. You don’t yell at me, try to attack me, or try to belittle me. In fact, you seem to help me the greatest and I have much to thank you for. I don’t want to lose another friend and I won’t, I’ll keep the bond we have strong and continue to work with you.” Valen Stalhart ( SYMBOLS ) - The Magitek Knight ”I remember when we first met, you escorted me through Coerthas and to Mor Dhona to ensure I could make my delivery on time. We lost touch but you still somehow managed to remember me. It’s kinda funny really, we knew each other very briefly but you still managed to leave an impact on me. When I took the name Marigold, I saw you again. We were now working together under the same Free Company. Everything began to fall through, Arcadeus was destroyed, you were gravely injured and I was losing sight of who I was. I looked like my old self again and you immediately knew who I was, I feel like you knew this entire time but never mentioned it. You’re a good friend and I want to be there for you, I want you to know that you don’t have to fight alone.” Waylon Baladur ( SYMBOLS ) - Old Lover ”My old lover and closest friend. It’s strange how we still manage to make it through the shit we go through. We lost touch and the next time you saw me was as Marigold and I made you believe that I was dead. It didn’t last long and I eventually told you who I really was, even despite the anger, you held on and accepted me. You agreed to call me Marigold in public and respect my reasons. You’ve dealt with my shit so many times and you deserve better. You’re trying to start a family and I’m holding you back. I plan to separate myself from you so that you won’t have to worry about me dragging you down.”

I live on the East Coast and my availability often varies. Most of the time, I am available during evening and late night hours. However, there are special circumstances where I may be available morning and early afternoon. I am open to in-game rp, forum rp, and discord rp; NO SKYPE RP.

'POTENTIAL RP HOOKS ■ Marigold? Some may recognize her when her hair was a light orange and she carried eyes which looked like a fire. However, she now looks more like a rose. You may recognize but be unable to quite put your finger on it. If you are able to, then maybe this can prove your suspicion that she wasn’t truly dead. ■ Kanako? Or it can be quite the opposite. You never knew Marigold was tied to Kanako and thought she was truly dead. To see a woman who was thought to be dead walking around the place again is certainly a strange sight. What happened to her? ■ Bounty. After attacking a member of the Black Lotus, a bounty has been put up on her head. They want her either dead or alive, it’s up to you if you decide to take it. ■ The Limitless Reliquary. She is a member of a relic hunting company and helps run their investigation branch. Perhaps you are looking for their aid? ■ The Smuggler (If you know Marigold and Kanako are the same) She was once associated with the renowned smuggler, Tray’ju. Perhaps you don’t know about their recent disagreements and how she left him and still wish to make business. Or maybe you assume she kept some of those connections she made along the way...
