Aulbiene Daivere, was born and raised in Ishgard. Her family lived in a life of poverty. Since she was just a little girl, she had to quickly learn how to adapt and survive the harsh realities that the realm presented her. She was locked away in Ishgard all of her current lifetime until recently. Due to false accusations, magick and family ties, she had the flee Ishgard to ensure sh could live another day. Now with no direction, she is exploring the realm of Eorzea.
Aulbiene’s mauve, silky hair was a trait carried down from her mother and is possibly the only thing she liked about her mother. In doing her best of keeping a more professional look, she often has her hair brushed out and out of her face. When not styled in a certain way, her hair often reaches just past her shoulders. Among all of her dark features, her eyes stick out the most. They’re piercing golden and when she looks down at someone, it’s like daggers. She looks rather frail with her skinny body and angular face, you can even see her ribs. She is above average height for an Elezen and often finds herself looking down at people, sometimes even her own clansmen. She carries very few markings. The only noticeable ones are the birthmark right under her right eye and two scars. One on her left side and the other going diagonally from her back, these are likely from combat.

Confident. Sly. Snarky. Aulbiene is a rather difficult person to get along with who often times will only see someone as her "equal" if they hold her same values and goals. It takes a like-minded person to get past that shell of hers, or maybe someone who opposes her who will challenge her and perhaps change her views - though this is a rather difficult task. Her attitude often leads her getting into arguments that could easily be avoided and she will continue to argue until her point is made and the person who is agreeing with her gives up.

Aulbiene grew up poor in the Brume. Her and the rest of the family had to do everything they could to survive and because of this, Aulbiene has picked up many survival skills. When her mother and older brother went on to become temple knights, her and her younger brother were left in the care of the Astrologens who trained them in the ways of healing magick. Recent events lead her to flee from Ishgard and for the first time, seeing what was outside The Gates of Judgement.
Aulbiene was the second born child and grew up poor in the streets of Ishgard. Everyone did what they had to do to contribute to the families survival and learn how to look out for yourself. Her mother would take any jobs she could find in the local tavern, her father stole whatever items he could and then resell them, and herself along with her siblings would often walk around begging for gil. Around when Aulbiene was 13 cycles, her older brother had reached the age to join the Temple Knights - to grasp a second chance at a better life. He took the opportunity and this gave their mother the motivation to follow.
With their father missing, there was no one to care for Aulbiene and her younger brother who was just 8 cycles old. The Astrologens happily took in the two knowing that they could help change the childrens' future. The two received a proper education and began learning the ways of Astromancy. It was her brother that seemed more excited about it than Aulbiene. Her mother would do everything they could to visit them but as years went by, her visits became less frequent until finally, she stopped seeing them at all.
Aulbiene became an official Astrologen teacher at the age of 20 cycles. She was considered a more strict teacher and often preferred a different teaching style compared to the others. It was Aulbiene who helped guide her brother to his final years of training. Around the age of 21 cycles, researchers approached the Astrologens ask for their Aetherical aid in a theory they came up with. Many were against it as it was not healing magicks and had nothing to do with the telling of fates. However, it was Aulbiene who stepped up and showed her desire to help the reserchers with their theory. Although reluctant, the other Astrologen teachers agreed that so long as she continued her duties, she could carry the task of help the researchers with the 'Crystal magick theory'. For the next 4 cycles, not only would she continue teaching other students, but she would train in the ways of offensive magicks.
On the 1st sun of the 6th Umbral Moon, Aulbiene fled Ishgard and for the first time, saw what was outside The Gates of Judgement. A night prior, one of her newer students seemed to be learning fairly fast - almost too fast. The students claimed to have seen the fate of Aulbiene's death and it was by their own hands, The student took it as a message from Halone herself and was determined to carry on the task. When the two meet, no matter what Aulbiene said, the student didn't look to just simply give up on their 'holy duty'. With Aulbiene's crystal magicks, she defended herself the best she could and it lead to the students death. The Temple Knights were quickly alerted to the sounds of combat and came as soon as they could and all they saw was a dead student and a Duskwight looming over. Without questioning the motives, the Temple knights went to arrest her - it didn't go in their favor. With Aulbiene now out of Ishgard, a bounty has been placed on her to ensure her return back so she may face proper judgement.
COMBAT & WEAPONRY
When it comes to physical combat, Aulbiene is only really good at defending herself, but give her a sword and shield and she wouldn't know what to do with it. Although she was meeant to be an Astrologian and only that, her path changed when Researchers gave her the idea of using crystals to cast. Ever since then, her main use of magic has been using crystals. When she attunes her aether to the crystalls, she can harness their energies and use them in combat. Her methods are much like a Thuamaturge, except there is no staff.
■ Healing: With her Star Globe, she has the ability to heal wounds and even protect people from further damage - the way of the Astrologian.
■ Crystal Casting: She prefers to use this magick technique and often finds herself enjoying combat when she is able to utilize her crystals. It has it’s limits, for she has to use her own Aether preserves to actually
■ Defensive: Although she doesn’t have much when it comes to physical prowess, she knows how to defend herself when someone comes close to her. She isn’t afraid to try and kick them away, or try to trip them.
■ Elemental Crystals: Her primary “weapon”. In order to use the crystals power and still be able to freely use her hands, she has to use special gloves which hold the crystal in place while still being able to gather enough Aether to release its power.
■Star Globe: The star globe is what she uses to cast healing magicks and to act more defensively.
■Worn Grimoire: It doesn’t really belong to her and any questions about it are quickly disregarded. She has yet to be seen in combat using it, but she always has it on her person.

ABOUT THE PLAYER
I'm a female who lives on the East Coast and loves to RP. Aulbiene was made after I retired Nanagi Nagi and she is my main. With having both BLM and AST to 60, I am always willing to raid.
I'm a somewhat slow reader. No matter how hard I try, I can't read super fast like a lot of people. Please be patient with me as this could also lead to somewhat slow replies.
I make typos.I will make typos, and I usually catch them as soon as I send the post. I do my best to try to quickly fix them. I have gotten better at re-reading my post before sending it, so hopefully you should see less typos.
Walk up Friendly. I have a bad habit of not walking up to people because I get nervous. I totally understand and know what it's like to be nervous to walk up to someone. Just know that I am walk up friendly. If we are in a crowded place (Quicksand) then a nice /tell before or after you reply to me would be great! Sometimes I may be AFK. It won’t be for long since I am IC, so please be patient.
