Born Y'toli Odha, she is estranged from her homeland thus took up a new name, Bryte Darklyt. Bryte was born into a Sharlayan Miqo'te tribe, and they became overly interested in her interesting aether; Dangerously so. She left home at a very young age, and was on the road traveling most of her life. Because of this, she doesn't have the social norms most people should and is still learning how to blend in. Now, Bryte takes company with a band of pirates who promise to help bring out her potential. Eyes Hair Skin Body Type Voice Deep Blue, with a hint of Violet. Burgandy, with pinkish tips. Tan. Typically skirts and fancy shirts. Bryte is a very small and cute Miqo'te. She doesn't have any extremely descerning features; Shes tan, and petite. She isnt extremely toned but has curves to make up for it. She wears a signature hairband through her burgandy hair, with lightened tips towards the ends. It's always pressed neat, and she spends extre time every day making sure of that. Her eyes are extremely blue, with a hint of violet in them. They are intense, and you can always read her emotions from them in any situation. They are intense, but gentle at the same time. Bryte is right-handed, and on her right hand is a healed cut caused by a voidkin encounter in her younger years. Other than that, her skin is completely fair and without blemish. On her left cheeck and right hip are tattoos of a tourqoise heart, she had went and got done to symbolize her personal freedom from her estranged family. Her voice is very feminine; Soft, moderately high pitched and careful. Shes learned to think before speaking always, so a lot of times she doesn't have much to say. But when she speaks she speaks low, and true. Energetic, Curious, Cautious. Bryte left home at an early age; This means that she wasn't brought up with the social and societal norms everyone else did; Thus struggled to fit in. She spends a lot of time learning and watching other people to fit in better, and because of this has grown a curiosity towards things she doesn't know the inner workings of. Bryte is full of energy, and always ready for an adventure. She appears bubbly and happy constantly, but what most or, anyone really, won't see is that she harbors a lot of feelings of loneliness and regret. She's had a rough life; Because of this, she is very cautious at the same time. She finds it hard to trust anyone, but once you are considered trustworthy she'd do just about anything for you; Loyal and dedicated to a fault. LIKES Seafood Her favorite food is seafood, and even though she can't eat out much she cooks it for herself multiple times a week. Challenges: Bryte enjoys challenging herself daily; Whether it be combat, mental, or personal. Secluded hide-aways Bryte likes having secret spots to go to, to think through tough emotions and thoughts; To enjoy quiet for a while or just relax after a long day. DISLIKES Mistreatment: She hates seeing anyone mistreated, for anything and in any way. A lot of times she'll hold her tongue, but it won't set right. Cockiness: Brytes no stranger to showing off, but there is a limit to how cocky a person can get before she gets annoyed. Entitlement: Bryte loathes people who believe they have something owed to them that they don't; Whether it be a cocky catboi in the pub, or a snobby rich kid who thinks they own the world. STRENGTHS Intelligent: Bryte is incredibly smart, and able to learn from watching very quickly. She constantly people watches, to learn as much as she can from others. Fearless: She is near fearless; Not afraid of anything in her way. Charismatic: A seemingly happy and upbeat personality makes for a charismatic girl. WEAKNESSES Naive. Because of how Bryte grew up, she can sometimes be a bit naive to someones true intentions. Fearless: Though she is fearless of anything in her own path, she constantly worries about the troubles of others over herself, because the idea of losing more friends is more than she can take. ~WIP~ Reworking! Because of her unique ability to absorb and channel aether, she is able to master techniques and abilities normally not available to everyone. She is capable of mimicing and mastering fighting styles and techniques only by watching; Which means her fighting style is more-so a combined technique of everyone shes ever mimic'd. She mix's magic and physical attacks to be even more potent when needed, and is constantly using her aether to rejuvenate her muscles; As she works hard at being stronger, which puts a strain on her body. This flow of aether also increases her reflexes and strength, but at the loss of being able to hold onto aether very long. Her true aetherpool is empty; Which seems impossible but somehow shes able to exist. A silver-tongued and attractive rogue, she served from the day she could enlist until the Battle of Carteneau, where it is assumed she died. When she wasn't busy with her work as a lieutenant, she would often do humanitarian work, and was thus often away from home. After the battle, her body was never found, and has been officially labelled as "Missing" for the years since. Rihxo gave up on her search about a year ago, but even now, a tiny part of her wants to believe her mother is out there, even though she knows this is almost certainly not the case. X'matoi Tia - AKA Rokaya Matoi (Assumed Dead) - Father Atypical to most Seekers, X'matoi left his tribe to settle down in Limsa Lominsa. Soon, he met First Lieutenant K'rohni Matoi, a fellow 'leaver' who opted for the military life instead of the tribal one. The two had a quick, but passionate romance, and were soon wed. The two wanted to make names for themselves, and worked hard to achieve this goal. After having several children with the fellow Seeker, he soon became a famed archer throughout La Noscea, known as one of its finest. The Emerald Arrow, as some called him, was always one to fight for justice, even if he had peculiar ways of going about it. His work and private life were kept very separate, however, and thus Rihxo never knew much about what he did. Much like Rihxo's mother, he fought at the Battle of Cartenau, and was never seen since. He has also been officially labelled as "Missing" since the battle. Rihxo wishes he were still here, as she wanted to learn more of his wisdom, not to mention he would play a pivotal role in helping Valen, as he had helped him before. Rhaya Matoi (Haven't Met Yet) - The Rumored Sister Merely a rumor to Rihxo at present, and one spread by Adelaide at that, the very existence of Rhaya raises questions about the Matoi family. She shares the 'R' naming convention, but her mother's appearances moreso than the emerald eyes and cerulean hair of most other of the siblings... meaning that her mother, at some point, cheated on her father. They'd always seemed so happy together -- what could've happened? X'rhaxe Matoi (♥🔒♥) - The Lone Brother The only son to be sired from the Matoi family, X'rhaxe left the family home in Limsa Lominsa early on to train as a Pugilist in Ul'dah. Only occasionally does he make an appearance at the Matoi house, and each of these appearances becomes far less common. Rihxo and him were once close, but such times have long since past, as he slowly becomes an afterthought to the day-to-day affairs Rihxo must deal with as head of house. X'rhoxi Matoi (♥🔒♥) - The Littlest Sister Clocking in as the youngest of the Matoi sisters, the baby-faced X'rhoxi has thus far lived a very sheltered life. Following in the footsteps of her oldest sister, Rihxo, she's always dreamed of becoming an adventurer someday -- though she remains almost horribly oblivious to the internal struggles of the family. Barely able to keep their home and make ends meet, and oft left alone, Rhoxi has secretly begun training as a Conjurer, that maybe one day her sisters will allow her help on an excursion. X'ratoh Matoi (♥🔒♥) - The Blacksmithing Twin More often covered in soot and ash than not, Ratoh is essentially the family's personal blacksmith. She's crafted her own armor, swords, and Rihxo's bows for years. Ratoh was the first born out of the twins, and thus makes her the second oldest -- though only by mere minutes. This doesn't stop her from using this so-called 'authority' to make decisions in Rihxo's absences, which are often except for resting between jobs. X'rahwa Matoi (♥🔒♥) - The Designing Twin The younger of the twins, Rahwa opted for a less "barbaric" craft and took up weaving after the Calamity when the parents of the family went missing. Slowly, but surely, the name X'rahwa Matoi is becoming known in some designer circles, making Rahwa's excursions to Ul'dah more frequent.
