Young when the King of Ruin rose to the full height of his madness and when the Garleans took hold of the city thereafter, Delial Grimsong remains a fervent daughter of Ala Mhigo, last of a line with burning veins and raging hearts. A once outspoken supporter of the Garlean occupation, during which she earned her infamy as a kinslayer, Grimsong now walks an uncertain path burdened by the weight of misdeeds past and the conflicts of a questionable future.

[ ★ ☆ ☆ ] Displaced Ala Mhigan fugitive who was, until recent years, outspoken in her stance against the Resistance movement. Her involvement with Garlean efforts has been attributed to the apprehension and death of many Ala Mhigans including but not limited to members of noble clans.

[ ★ ☆ ☆ ] Frequently travels between city-states, typically by merchant wagon or ship. Her face is commonly seen passing through Vesper Bay and she is a noted patron of the Pissed Peiste.

[ ★ ★ ☆ ] Not formally affiliated with any Grand Company, free company, or even holds citizenship or residency anywhere in Eorzea. Her name once appeared with some frequency on the roster with the Limsa Lominsan branch of the Adventurer's Guild, but her last official mission was over a year ago.

[ ★ ★ ☆ ] Her aether is nothing extraordinary, but she appears competent at channeling and focusing external sources of aether through mediums. The staff she often carries seems particularly conductive.

[ ★ ★ ★ ] Her actual name is not Grimsong at all but Blackstone. It was not a noble clan but a long standing one regardless, known for grooming their daughters into skilled alchemists and mages.

Instrumental to finding and recovering Gharen Wolfsong while he was overtaken by the Wolf, Delial has come to trust in the Keeper a great deal. It is plain to her why Roen favors her so and though Jakkya strikes her lacking subtlety and, on occasion, rather dense. She has proven herself loyal, fearless, and strong.

Once enemies, the lalafell and the highlander resolved their issues through their want to help a mutual friend. Delial is oddly charmed by his naivete and respects the changes he has made in his life. Kiryuu currently holds a lofty position as one of the people she considers her closest friends.

▶ Osric Melkire ( ✔ )

The Sergeant, as she insists on calling him, is one who commands her respect. They have grown distant lately, each occupied with their own obligations, but she does not doubt that had she ever the need, Melkire would have her back.

▶ Edda Eglantine ( ○ )

Their encounters have been few but there is certainly something strange about the Lady Eglantine. Someday, Delial might have the chance to find out what, and what exactly so guarded a woman had to do with Monetarists, soulstones, and murder.

▶ Coatleque Crofte ( ○ )

Mixed feelings are tied to Crofte, and Delial's opinion of the woman often wavers between detatched concern to complete indifference. If pressed, she would have to grudgingly admit that Crofte did assist in the hunt for Wolfsong... but the sting of her betrayal still lingers moons past its happening.

Baited with promise of safe, glorious return to her homeland, Delial took to working for the enigmatic Garlean not long after her flight into Vylbrand. Now, she hunts the woman, fueled by guilt and rage over events past.
