Oh, and you're pretty cute, I guess." "Sounds about right, yeah." X'rihxo Matoi, better known as simply Rihxo or Miss Matoi to some, was born on the 24th Sun of the 1st Astral Moon. Rihxo grew up with a quiet enough life in Limsa Lominsa, training under her father in the manner of the bow. The oldest of her four siblings, Rihxo always had an optimistic look on life, and left home fairly early on, followed by her youngest sister X'rhoxi. Now, Rihxo aims to brighten the spirits of all she meets in Eorzea, be it through song or through her natural charisma. Rihxo may be from Limsa Lominsa, but since she has found there are often more people in Ul'dah, she spends most of her time there. You can often find her in the Quicksand, and occasionally wandering about the markets. If she isn't there, then she is most likely at home back in Limsa Lominsa or out on the job. Rihxo has never really bothered to keep up with politics and doesn't plan to change that. As long as the people don't suffer for the government's doings, she is fine with it. Currently working for the free company Arcadeus. Rihxo's Inventory Rihxo always keeps a large satchel at her hip, no matter what she's wearing. Height: 5 fulms 4 ilms Weight: 100 ponz Complexion:  Medium Tan Hair:  Gunmetal Blue Eyes:  Emerald Green Rihxo is a Miqo'te whose outward appearance might be a little intimidating at first, but looking past that, she is rather cute. The first things one would notice about Rihxo is that her right eye is always covered by an elegant crimson eye patch, and showing just below it is a scar along her cheekbone. The visible eye - her left one - is a bright, vivid emerald green. If asked to show one the eye, she might agree if she trusts them enough; usually she will just describe it as 'cut up something fierce'. She has a more rounded face and two white markings under each eye, though one is usually covered by the patch, as well as two brown stripes on each cheek and her forehead. Her lips are naturally a deeper red, and her skin is tanned from plenty of time out in the sun. Rihxo's body is naturally rather curvy, boasting an ample chest and wider hips. Her legs are thick and accustomed to many days of travel, typical of any Miqo'te. While thin, her form is a bit more muscular than one might expect, but don't let that fool you; Rihxo's true talent is in her dexterity, where she is able to easily move around gracefully and quickly. Most of her movements are light and airy, but with a purpose; never clumsy, but never seeming calculated. When in combat, she will often use this to her advantage, shuffling and weaving about the battlefield in something reminiscent of an intricate dance. Her voice is usually rather upbeat and happy toned, though a deeper pitch than what one might expect from her demeanor. When angered, it tends to get higher pitched, which doesn't help her in the slightest. Singing, however, her voice is melodic and often described as just plain beautiful. She tends to get a bit shy when complimented on her voice, even though she's done these things for years. Given the title of "Chocolate Queen", Rihxo always smells of various kinds of sweets, most notably... well, chocolate. Her hair has a tendency to smell like berries, though. According to Trin Morwen, she tastes like chocolate and cherries. (Art by Yourou on Tumblr.) Rihxo is an easygoing girl, at least when you first meet her. Casual with her conversation but a bit more formal with her words, she's easy enough to understand. Despite living in Limsa Lominsa all her life, she doesn't carry much of an accent, though it does come out a bit more when she's drunk. It's uncommon to see her without a smile on her face, save for when a situation really doesn't call for it. Often, she's unintentionally flirtatious, simply giving a compliment and it comes off as flirtatious. Due to this, she's had a fair share of suitors come after her, most of them rejected (though not painfully; she's too oblivious and often just too sweet to turn them down directly). Getting to know Rihxo better, it's more obvious that she has a lot of things that haunt her about her past, but they don't seem to get to her, at least not too much. She's still quite agreeable, and her loyalty is undeniable; though, both of these were evident from the start. She prefers to keep her distance from a target - not below using laced arrows and carefully placed, precise strikes to help disable them - before going for the killing shot, often aimed at the temple. If someone gets too close - as in, she is completely unable to use her bow - she will pull daggers from her boots (always thigh-high for this reason) and begin to fight with those, though this is seen as a last resort. If there is clearly no hope for her, she will flee if she deems it necessary in order to live. Her arrows are color-coded for her own sake; all have red fletchings, but the 'fiery hot' ones have red shafts. Rarely, a killing blow will be dealt with a green-fletched arrow. This is her way of honoring her father, X'matoi, who used green-fletched arrows; this is done when she feels a target would be a kill her father would be proud of. Weapons Rihxo's signature weapon is her bow, which she's grown very adept with over the years. Recently, she has completed her formal training with the Archer's guild. Her sister, Rahwa, forged her a new bow. Lightweight and almost gothic in appearance, the bow is an impressive work of weaponry, and Rihxo is incredibly proud of it. Rihxo has been taking lessons from the Rogue's Guild and has been seen occasionally using daggers. Magic Rihxo has a bare minimum understanding of magic, since she never really learned about any of it. As such, any questions about magic would best be directed to her sisters - specifically Rhoxi. Crafting Rihxo is unsure as to what crafts she wants to take up (other than improving her culinary skills), but she does have an interest in weaving and carpentry so that she can make clothing and create new bows. This whole section is a WIP, but I do have some things outlined for your viewing pleasure. Birth and childhood (0-10) Rihxo was the first born out of all of her siblings in Limsa Lominsa. She never got a taste of the tribal life, as her parents had decided to settle in the coastal city for reasons never really disclosed to Rihxo. It was a relatively peaceful time, with her brother R'theqe and the twins Ratoh and Rahwa born one year and three years after her, respectively. At age two Rihxo nearly fell off one of the walkways on the Upper Decks. At age five she would begin her homeschooling with her mother, and her youngest sister Rhoxi was born. Teen Years Rihxo's brother left for Ul'dah when she was thirteen to receive formal training as a pugilist. Rihxo began training under her father at age fourteen, and learned the ways of archery, which is her best skill as of late. Rhoxi also followed her around like a lost chocobo chick, which was something that would remain unchanged until Rhoxi turned about sixteen. Adulthood Rihxo had set out for Gridania to receive formal training with the archers there, her sister Rhoxi her shadow as always. However, on the way there, the Calamity hit, and thus the two had to return to Limsa Lominsa to ensure that their family had made it through alright. All of the siblings had made it out, but there was no sign of their parents. Rihxo likes to think that her parents are alive, just far away somewhere. But she knows this likely isn't true. After staying with her siblings for a while, she decided to take up mercenary work as a way to keep money coming in. She always took up as many jobs as she could complete, and tried to ensure they were all done as soon as she could. The strenuous pace, surprisingly, exhilarated her, and she's kept it up to this day. Rihxo's Parents Rihxo's mother, X'rohni Matoi, was a first lieutenant in the Maelstrom. A silver-tongued and attractive rogue, she served from the day she could enlist until the Battle of Carteneau, where it is assumed she died. When she wasn't busy with her work as a lieutenant, she would often do humanitarian work, and was thus often away from home. After the battle, her body was never found, and has been officially labelled as "Missing" for the years since. Rihxo gave up on her search about a year ago, but even now, a tiny part of her wants to believe her mother is out there, even though she knows this is almost certainly not the case. Would your character know of/about Rihxo's mother?: Yes, if they had access to Maelstrom documents, or served in the Maelstrom before the battle. Rihxo's father, X'matoi Tia (though, since they were never very tribal cats, he was sometimes called Rokaya Matoi) was a famed archer throughout La Noscea, known as one of its finest. The Emerald Arrow, (called this due to not only his striking eyes that all the Matoi children share as well as the color of the fletchings he used) as some called him, was always one to fight for justice, even if he had peculiar ways of going about it. His work and private life were kept very separate, however, and thus Rihxo never knew much about what he did. Much like Rihxo's mother, he fought at the Battle of Cartenau, and was never seen since. He has also been officially labelled as "Missing" since the battle. Rihxo wishes he were still here, as she wanted to learn more of his wisdom, not to mention he would play a pivotal role in helping Valen, as he had helped him before. Something about the little Thaumaturge caught Rihxo's attention that fateful day in the Quicksand; now, the two are inseparable. Rihxo really looks up to Nagi, even if it's not literally. She's powerful, intelligent, and not to mention adorable - three things Rihxo aspires to be. Expand U'zamza Steelclaw, "Boytoy", as they say. ( 💑 🔒) Rihxo’s Thoughts: "I'm so happy I met you. I suppose Menphina decided to be kind to me that evening." The two started as rivals in the Grindstone; not too much later, they were lovers. Rihxo had just gotten the title of Field Champion when she was pitted against U'zamza. He beat her rather quickly, causing Rihxo to angrily demand a rematch; they haven't had that rematch, but when he found her after a potentially fatal fight, she realized her feelings for him rather quickly. An odd pair of friends, Stalhart was originally Rihxo's protector, turned hunter, turned friend. While all of her friends remained wary of the odd Hyur, Rihxo always felt something was different about him; in the end, she feels that's probably what saved him. Now, after their fight especially, she realizes that she cares quite a lot about him, even if he just sees her as 'naught but a child'. Expand Xeiz Feine, The Reaper. (●🔒) Rihxo’s Thoughts: "I'm really gonna miss you. Well... I hope you don't miss me too much, either." Rihxo originally met Feine under the name of 'Xeiz', a shy, chocolate-loving cat. He showed his much more despicable side soon after, attacking and nearly killing several of her friends. Several chance meetings, and a night together upon the Danse Macabre, have changed her feelings about him entirely, though. She's going to miss him dearly. Expand Kukuna Kuna, Chocolate Fanatic. A passion for chocolate shared by both was what originally drew Rihxo to Kuna. The two met at a Starlight party for their company, and made friends rather quickly. Rihxo does want to get to know the woman better, and perhaps help her in becoming an adventurer like herself. Expand Benedict Whiteraven, Free Spirit. (●) Rihxo’s Thoughts: "Perhaps I should supervise you when drinking more often..." A chance meeting was how the two met; Rihxo had gotten hopelessly lost in Ul'dah and made a wrong turn onto Pearl Lane. The striking red she wore caught Ben's eye, and the two ended up having a rather crazy and entertaining day together. There might've been something between the two at one point, but Rihxo has all but forgotten now. Expand Paul Desmond, Forgotten Friend. (●) Rihxo’s Thoughts: "You feel... familiar to me. It's uncanny. Perhaps it's just deja vu, but... I think it's something more. We'll crack that case, too. I know we will." The two originally met when Rihxo was seventeen, almost eighteen; Rihxo tripped and nearly fell right off one of the platforms of the Upper Decks in Limsa, only to be thankfully grabbed and saved by the Investigator. While their appearances have changed quite a bit since those days, the two are friends once more, though something pokes at the back of Rihxo's mind... almost as if they've met before. Expand Endel Blanche, Misadventuring Mute. (●) Rihxo’s Thoughts: "Okay, I screwed up. I'm sorry, I am! I didn't know you'd... react like that. I was just saying hi to M'shi!" Endel and Rihxo share an odd kind of bond; while it's not spoken, purely an aesthetic one, it's quite powerful. After having a fair share of misadventures alongside him and others, she does care for him. She only saw him for a short time at a masquerade ball, and ended up pissing him off by not easing him into accepting M'shi's new form, and she hasn't seen him since. Expand M'shi Mahji, The Other Mute. (●) Rihxo’s Thoughts: "It was good to see you that evening, though it's unfortunate we couldn't spend more time together..." M'shi and Rihxo got off on a bit of an awkward foot, but the two ended up befriending one another when both Endel and M'shi were injured. Rihxo's pushing it also convinced Endel and M'shi to confess their feelings for one another (or... she thinks, anyway). She's recently taken on a more scaly form, which Rihxo didn't really question as much as she probably should've. Expand Caen Jabari, Sunny Cat. (●) Rihxo’s Thoughts: "You saved me that day. I'll never forget that. I think I owe you a cake. Maybe two. Where have you gone off to?" One of the three who saved Rihxo's life when Valen first turned on her. Where have you gone recently? Are you okay?" One of the three who saved Rihxo's life when Valen first turned on her. When Nanagi went away, Singer took her place as appointed partner in crime while she searched for Nanagi and trained to fight Valen. I'm not really one to be talking." Chip and Rihxo met purely by chance when she went to a spot to watch the stars one evening. The boy was there, much to both of their surprise. A shared love for chocolate got them talking, but soon, gunfire erupted from Limsa Lominsa nearby. The two went to investigate, and she hasn't seen him since they parted ways that night. She does hope he is alright... Expand Rhyme Brimstone, Masked Stranger. (●) Rihxo’s Thoughts: "I hope to see you again soon. The night at the masquerade ball was a lot of fun!" Rhyme and Rihxo met through who she assumes is one of Rhyme's friends at a masquerade event. They both cluelessly danced, and had quite the conversation. The two had a relationship that lasted about a month, though in the end, Rihxo simply couldn't take the tension and stress she got from many sources and was forced to break things off. Expand Non-Arc Events Expand (10/27) Meeting Nanagi (Status: Complete) (Who was Involved: Nanagi Nagi) Rihxo was confronted by Nanagi, asking for assistance in killing an assassin in return for a large sum of money. She agreed, and after they killed the assassin in Southern Thanalan, they would return to Ul'dah for their pay. They were informed they would not be receiving credit for the kill, which Rihxo was a bit saddened about, but overall didn't mind too much. Expand (11/10 - 11/11) The Lord of the Inferno (Status: Complete) (Who was Involved: Nanagi Nagi, Gil vel'Jendahr) Recently, Nanagi went hunting for a pack of Amalj'aa on her own. Calling Rihxo for help via linkpearl, she quickly came to her aid, but not before Nanagi had to cast a huge spell, draining her of a substantial amount of aetheric energy. Rihxo insisted they retreat, despite the Amalj'aa now having hold of Nanagi's staff. While Nanagi recovered, the two devised a plan - to go into the camp and surrender themselves to Ifrit in order to get Nanagi's staff back, for without it, she cannot cast her spells. Currently, the two are locked inside the camp, biding their time until the ritual is begun. The ritual was completed, and Ifrit itself was summoned - thankfully, Gil had come just in time to help Nanagi and Rihxo defeat the beast. However, he was not too happy about the fact Nanagi had risked Rihxo's life in such a manner, as well as her own. Nanagi insisted she would've ensured Rihxo stayed alive, even if it meant her death - a statement Rihxo didn't appreciate, but kept quiet about this fact. Expand Cutting the Strings (10/28-12/19) (Stalhart Arc - Complete) (Involved: Valen, Nagi, Gil, Endel, Caen, Raptor, Anelia, Tatsumi) Expand (10/28 and 11/4) First Encounters (Status: Complete) (Who was Involved: Nanagi Nagi, Valen Stalhart, Gil vel'Jendahr, Endel Blanche) Rihxo has been taking on many jobs lately, most becoming more dangerous as time goes on. As such, her name has been going around a bit more often. She has gotten the attention of the Maelstrom, who had someone send her armor and a weapon, delivered by Valen. Rihxo, who at the time had no idea of his name, told her friends (and soon-to-be boyfriend, Gil) about the strange glowy man. Later, she ran into him again. Valen informed her that he was now assigned to be her guardian, and that someone had paid the Maelstrom a 'substantial amount' of gil to protect her. Moments after pulling his lance on her, Nanagi and Gil arrived, and after some small talk, Valen soon left. The next day, she would inform Endel about the issue with the lance. Endel became skeptical about it all, advising her to be cautious around the man. Expand (11/6) Uncovering Secrets (Status: Complete) (Who was Involved: Valen Stalhart) Valen sent Rihxo a letter requesting she come to his home in the Mist, which she agreed to. He had discovered some things that she 'might find interesting' - and interesting these things were. Valen had uncovered information about her parents that they hadn't told her - her mother was a soldier, though she also did humanitarian work when she could; her father was one of the best archers in all of La Noscea, but kept his work and private life separate. They had also made enemies of the Garlean Empire - who now may be seeking out Rihxo for being a Matoi. Rihxo now must always watch her back - who knows if there could be a Magitek Knight there to get her? Expand (11/16 - 11/17) The Voices (Status: Complete) (Who was Involved: Valen Stalhart, Gil vel'Jendahr, Nanagi Nagi, Caen Jabari, Singing Raptor Valen contacted Rihxo by linkpearl, stating he was in an alley behind "that tavern you're usually at" and that he wasn't doing so well. Ever helpful, Rihxo quickly went to him. Noticing his armor was unscratched, but he still looked like hell, she asked what happened to him. Valen stated that he was in Northern Thanalan watching a Garlean encampment before he blacked out and somehow ended back up in Ul'dah. Shortly after his explanation, Valen seemed to get some kind of headache, and began to say things about "the voices" that he "doesn't take orders from anymore". When Rihxo asked what voices he meant, he said they were the ones telling him to kill her. Seconds after, Gil, Caen, and a Roegadyn arrived, and just before Valen lost control, he told Rihxo to run. Rihxo didn't need to be told twice, and bolted. The next day, Rihxo found Nanagi, much to her joy. Retelling the story of the previous night (through tears and all), Nanagi came up with the theory that Valen is a soldier for the Garlean Empire, and that all along, Rihxo was being strung along in a trap. Nanagi thinks that the Garleans sent Valen after Rihxo, and after gaining her trust (by claiming to be sent by the Maelstrom to guard her), Valen would "swoop in when you were most vulnerable and kill you". Rihxo doesn't like to admit it, but something sticks at the back of her mind that something seems just a bit wrong about that theory... Expand (11/22) Breaking Points (Status: Complete) (Who was Involved: Nanagi Nagi, Valen Stalhart, Gil vel'Jendahr, Singing Raptor) Rihxo picked an inopportune night to get drunk. Nanagi hurried into the Quicksand, informing Gil and Rihxo that they needed to get out of there - ASAP. Rihxo in his arms, Gil hurried out of Ul'dah, taking Rihxo to the Rogue's Guild where she was in a blissfully ignorant drunken sleep. One of Rihxo's linkpearls went off - a help beacon from Nanagi. Gil quickly left to go help the Lalafell, leaving Rihxo alone. She would awaken soon after he left (admittedly, from falling out of her chair) and confusedly try to contact them both, to no avail. The two were under attack by Stalhart and his magitek Reaper. Nanagi, in an attempt to finish Valen off right there, casted a huge spell, draining her of aetheric energy to a deathly low level for the second time. Gil and Nanagi hurried back to Ul'dah to find a healer, where they found Singer and Rihxo, as well as a healer by the name of Jancis. Valen contacted Rihxo on his linkpearl, apologizing, and warning Rihxo that it was inevitable that they were to fight. He told her to "become the warrior your parents would be proud of, Rihxo." He then proceeded to crush his linkpearl, much to her confusion. After this, Jancis managed to stabilize Nanagi, and she was rushed to Singer's company house for much-needed rest. Gil went to leave the house on his own, but was followed by Rihxo. He stated that he had failed Rihxo and could no longer stay. Rihxo knew she wouldn't be able to handle this, as well as Nanagi's near-death, and begged him to stay. Initially, he refused still, even though he still loved her. In the end, the two managed to kiss and make up (literally), and Rihxo is incredibly relieved and happy that she could convince him to stay. Expand (11/26) Unforeseen Meetings (Status:) Complete (Who was Involved: Valen Stalhart, Singing Raptor, Nanagi Nagi) After a day of work and an evening of relaxation at the Bismarck, Rihxo asked Nanagi to talk about the plan her and Singer had made via linkpearl. Nanagi was unable to talk at the time as she had to stay hidden from Valen, who she had accidentally run into in Mor Dhona. Rihxo and Singer went to Mor Dhona to ensure Nanagi would make it out okay. They ran into Valen and Nanagi in the city, where they did not fight, but it gave Rihxo a chance to say some things to Valen, under control at the time. Valen stated the conversation was pointless, and if they all wanted to finish this, to meet him in Rathefrost. Nanagi followed him while Rihxo and Raptor stayed behind for a bit to devise a plan. They eventually made their way to Rathefrost, where Valen was having a psychotic break. His true self was showing. He said he wished he could forget all the killing he had done, but couldn't. Rihxo stated that she would never be half the person her father was, but she could try and free Valen as he did. She said that he could either fight her now and kill her, which would end it all, or wait until she became the warrior he and her parents wanted her to be. Valen said that things would not be over if he killed her now, as Gil was now in the way of the mission and needed to be killed in order to get to Rihxo. Valen tried to protest against the order, but to no avail. Valen told the three about Arcadeus when asked by Singer about where he called home. Rihxo stated that she was looking forward to their fight, and Valen agreed. Valen and Nanagi went off on their own, and Singer and Rihxo went back to the city. Nanagi stated she wouldn't be seeing Rihxo for a while, and Rihxo begged for her not to leave. She said that she would "always be watching, my beloved Rihxo." With that, she cut off her linkpearl. Rihxo turned to the only person she could at the time, Raptor, who is now her partner in lieu of Nanagi. The two plan to visit Arcadeus to gain information on Valen, so that they may be more prepared when Rihxo inevitably fights him. Expand (11/29) A Visit to Arcadeus (Status:) Complete (Who was Involved: Singing Raptor, Gil vel'Jendahr, Anelia Sadowyn, Tatsumi Hanateru) Singer and Rihxo finally managed to find someone to speak with at a visit to Arcadeus. The duo informed Tatsumi of what had happened with Valen, and asked if she knew anything about them that could help free his mind. While she didn't, she told them that Anelia might be able to help them with the matter, though that she was busy now, and she would let Rihxo know when Anelia returned. While on her way to the Aftcastle to investigate on some things, Rihxo got the call from Tatsumi that Anelia had arrived at the house, and was currently waiting on her arrival. She would inform Gil and Raptor that she was heading to Arcadeus, though they were welcome to join her at their soonest availability. Upon arrival, Rihxo would say that she needed to talk to her about Valen, and Anelia took on a notable expression of surprise at this statement. Soon after, Raptor arrived, and the three went to go discuss the matter with Stalhart. Rihxo explained that they were to fight, and what all had happened with Valen as of recently, and once again asked if she knew anything that could help him. While she didn't, she did say that she could get the Ironworks to build a device that Rihxo would have to plant on Valen in order to disable the chip and thus free him. While originally reluctant, due to the risks this might carry, she, Raptor, and Gil agreed that this was the best course of action at the moment. Rihxo currently bides her time until the device is completed, continuing her diligent training so she may be prepared for the day their fight comes. Expand (12/1) An Unexpected Letter (Status: Complete) (Who was Involved: Valen Stalhart, Gil vel'Jendahr, Singing Raptor) While away from home working in Coerthas Central, Rihxo received a message from Gil on her linkpearl, asking where she was. She told him she was at Dragonhead. Joined by him and Raptor, Gil informed the women that he'd received a letter from Valen, asking to meet him alone in Behemoth's Dominion. Knowing they would be spotted if they tried to join him, Rihxo and Raptor stayed behind in Dragonhead, intently listening to Gil over the linkpearl he left on as he spoke. Rihxo and Raptor both were curious as to why Valen kept seemingly provoking Gil, but they kept quiet while they awaited his return. Expand (12/6) The Grindstone (Status: Complete) (Who was Involved: Nanagi Nagi, Singing Raptor, Gil vel'Jendahr) Rihxo received a letter from Nanagi, tacked to her door as always. Upon reading it, she would discover it was a recommendation to enter the Grindstone, taking place a few days later. Clearly, Nanagi wanted her to compete, as she even said she would be there. Rihxo took her up on the offer, and ended up competing in the Grindstone that weekend after some more extensive training. She actually did rather well in it, becoming the champion of her bracket until she was disarmed by her next opponent unexpectedly. Naturally, she was none too happy, but in the end, she got an agreement for a rematch, and through the anger, she did feel she showed off her skills against the other combatants rather well. She felt this proved that her training was worth it all. Expand (12/13) A Decisive Battle (Status: Complete) (Who was Involved: Valen Stalhart, Nanagi Nagi, Singing Raptor, Gil vel'Jendahr WRITE THIS. Expand (12/19) Storming the Base (Status: Complete) (Who was Involved: Valen Stalhart, Nanagi Nagi WRITE THIS. Expand Of Magitek and Grimoires (12/29-???) (Mini-Arc - In Progress) (Involves: Zamza, Kuna, Adi, Nagi, Valen) Expand (12/29) A.L. (Status: In Progress) (Who was Involved: U'zamza Steelclaw, Kukuna Kuna) On what was supposed to be a relatively lax trip to Gridania, Rihxo was relaxing in the Canopy when all of the sudden an odd woman approached her. Her eyes were obviously works of magitek, as they glowed the color she knew all too well. She contacted Kuna and Zamza about it, as the woman had given her a letter to deliver to 'Ser Stalhart.' Rihxo also noticed an odd sort of mechanical sound around the woman. The letter stated that Valen, Nanagi, and Rihxo were apparently 'the talk, back home'. It was obvious, if it wasn't before, that the oddly eyed woman had some kind of affiliation with Garlemald. However, the letter also mentioned that Valen's actions had somehow inspired her, and that she hoped they could meet sometime soon. Rihxo is currently trying to contact Valen and Nanagi so that they could put in their feelings on the matter. The two shared their final songs and final dance for one another, and thus, Rihxo knew she could really trust him, now. She'd wanted to, as this situation felt very similar to one she'd only recently relieved herself of, but... there were far more feelings behind it. This has earned her the affectionate titles of "Madame Red" from Nanagi and "Strawberry" from Ben. ♥ Her bow is rather... unique. Gothic in appearance, she's never seen without it. It's obviously something special to her. ♥ About a month ago, the primal Ifrit was summoned. She and Nanagi, often seen around Ul'dah, were missing during this time - suspicious, to say the least. ♥ If your character is a Garlean, or a spy for them of some kind, the name Matoi might be recognizable. The family is currently wanted dead by Garlemald. (Ask/let me know before using this one, please!) ♥ Another one of her affectionate titles, "Chocolate Queen", is from her tendency to always have chocolate on her - very delicious chocolate. She doesn't mind sharing! ♥ Rumor has it that a Miqo'te clad in red, a Lalafell clad in black, and a Hyur in glowing armor came out from a Garlean base... after having destroyed it. The three quickly left together as well. ♥ If you lived in Limsa pre-Calamity, it's quite likely you ran into Rihxo. She lived there her whole life, and was often seen in the Wench singing for money.
