With a devilish, inquisitive spark in her eyes and a mind for business, one can't be sure if this woman is trustworthy or not at first glance. Her demeanor is somewhat eccentric, but oddly friendly, polite, and flirtatious. Seeking to allure, her words will almost always be carefully picked to sell herself, keeping them loosely laced with a seductive undertone and a smile full of promises. Whether it's entertainment, services, or simple conversation, she's always looking for something.

Born into wealth, the girl is a result of generations of old money, and she plays the part. With a perfectly straight posture and a chin held high, it's rather obvious she was raised and spoiled as an only-child. Sassy, flirty, and a bit vain, one will surely be able to pick her apart from the crowd.

Appearance

The first thing most people tend to notice is her hair, long, thin, and shiny. An ashy light brown which then fades to white towards the tips. The change of colour is very gradual, so the possibility of the colouration being a result of an unkept dye-job seems highly unlikely.

Bright green eyes peer at the world between thick, dark eyelashes. Reddish, plump lips seem to be perpetually showing a hint of a devious smirk. With high cheekbones and a small jaw, her features come off as very feminine and delicate. There isn't a single blemish on her skin, except for a white birth mark on her left cheekbone. Despite this, the woman tends to burn rather easily, so she usually stays indoors to avoid any unwanted sunburns.Her skin is very pale and clear, almost like porcelain, there’s almost a ‘transparent’ quality to it that makes her veins easily seen in areas like her wrists and chest.

Fitness wise, all the constant travelling and going on expeditions has made it pleasantly toned. However, due to recent health problems she has lost a bit of muscle and overall weight, as she’s hardly eating, and when she does, it’s pastries and wine. She’s still slim and toned, but not as healthy looking as she used to be. When it comes to her proportions, her figure is very much feminine and hourglass, with ample hips, a small waist, and generous curves.

She has a tendency to go for deep, dark, and rich colors. Her style is usually luxurious but provocative, something that could generally be associated with a high-class courtesan, opting for expensive fabrics and figure-fitting styles. She may occasionally change her style to suit the mask she puts on for certain individuals, making it difficult for some to tell what her taste in fashion truly is.

Sasha is an extremely vain character, considering her appearance to be her most valuable tool. This results in going to great extents to keep it up, and she will become very fastidious if she isn't pleased with the way she looks.

Sasha's voice is smooth and warm, her tone is often seductive and inviting but it can change to sarcastic or cold in a second if she feels threatened or is generally in a bad mood. Her speech is often semi-formal, choosing to stick to vocabulary that would be comfortable for robbers and scholars alike, though it may vary depending on her company and what she is trying to achieve. She often speaks in metaphors, feeling deep appreciation for those who can follow her wits.

Personality

Equipped with smooth words, a disarming smile, and a keen eye for what she can use to her benefit, she sees the world as her playground for lies and deception. Her demeanor is pleasant and charming, always keeping a friendly though somewhat distant disposition. Seductive, provocative and perhaps a little cheeky, she takes pleasure from keeping others off-balance.

To those she can benefit from, this mask will be kept almost permanently plastered on her face, always willing to please and seduce. Analytical to the core, she will inspect and morph into what she believes others expect her to be, from the foolish, harmless damsel in distress, to the cunning archmage. Give her a stage she desires and she will put on a show. To her, all truths are malleable and easily bent, words are nothing but child's play. People she considers fools or threatening will see another side of her, however. And they will soon discover that the coy smile bears sharp teeth and a sharper tongue. While she doesn't seek to harm, her patience is often limited towards those she deems incompetent, and her sweet words will turn into bitter sarcasm and condescending arrogance.

Due to a distaste towards violence, she has a strong inclination towards battles of wit when facing conflict. Sasha also implements under-handed tactics, and more than anything, persuasion. She sees fists and blades as the arms of savages, and will frown upon those who see them as their first resort.

Despite her seemingly refined demeanor, she can be quite reckless and childish in her pursuit of magical power, having an absolute fascination for aetherial phenomena. She doesn't care that aether harms her. So long as she can feel the rush of magic surging through her veins, she will always be motivated to look for more. Due to her aetherial sensitivity, her obsession with magic has proven many times to be highly detrimental to her condition. She stubbornly insists on continuing to push herself further and further, caring not for the consequences.

Manipulative, self-destructive, scheming, secretive, and distrustful, it's easy to portray her under a negative light when people discover that part of her nature, but in her eyes, her tactics are nothing but a shell that protects her from a harsh, ruthless world. With few enemies and even fewer friends, she feels deep affection and loyalty towards those who choose to stand by her side, even after witnessing the best and worst of her.

Religion

Despite not openly talking about it, Sasha is rather religious and often goes to the Sanctum of the Twelve to pray, however, she seems very selective when it comes down to what gods she prays to, choosing to pray only to Thaliak and Azeyma before any of the others. When circumstances are dire, she may pray to some of the other gods depending on the situation. Recently, she has taken an interest in Ramuh, but hasn't acted upon it as of yet.

Combat

Blessed with a talent for the aetherial arts, Sasha is a magic-user. However, regardless of her magical skills, aether has proven to be unreliable during multiple occasions, as it may sometimes weaken or even kill her. Despite looking somewhat toned, she's surprisingly frail, and not particularly quick on her feet. Anyone who can get past her magical barrier could easily kill her, if her condition doesn't do so first. So, how does she fight?

She doesn't.

Other people fight for her. If diplomacy doesn't solve the issue, she will resort to the aid of her allies, and only when she sees herself truly cornered will she take the risk of taking matters into her own hands. Depending on her condition, she may be meek as a mouse, or a force to be reckoned with. An intelligent hunter wouldn't take the risk of rolling the dice unless they knew her weakness. However, she always avoids conflict if she can, since she has a strong dislike for violence.

Being the only child, she was always overprotected and spoiled. Her family is cultured and wealthy, but not the type to be sentimental or emotionally-supportive. The Rochesters aren't very famous due to their overly-cautious nature and dislike for public appearances.

Emeryck Rochester (deceased)
Sasha's father, a wealthy merchant, known for bringing in foreign high quality materials from around Hydelyn into Eorzea. He was stern, polite, and cool-headed. Concerned for his child's safety, he was the first one to oppose her pursuit in magic, and went to great lengths trying to keep Sasha from practicing or studying it. Seeing that marrying her off would bring in more money for the family, he decided to arrange angagement between her and Sebastian Castlebane. He recently passed due to the aetherial condition running down their bloodline, and made Sasha strongly reconsider their bond on his dying words. She'll never admit it, but despite their rough relationship, she mourned his death.

Catherine Rochester (deceased)
Sasha's mother. Lominsan by birth, she is another merchant, known for selling academic wares such as books, school-materials, and anything any guild or educational institution may need. Owner of one of the biggest libraries in Eorzea. She was described as being intelligent, diplomatic, and hard-working. However, Sasha's departure and Emeryck's death profoundly scarred her, making her suffer both mentally and emotionally. It is constantly implied that her other greatly influenced Sasha's personality, and always had a rather tight "grip" on her, even when the girl ran away from home. While Sasha won't admit it, she shares a lot of qualities with her mother, especially the negative ones. Catherine's mental state deteriorated further when she failed to "protect" her daughter (Her idea of protection was... Severely skewed.) the woman died in a supposed uprising from the guards of the Rochester Estate, however, no marks of weapons were found on her body, and as a witness, Sasha is currently being observed by the authorities. Despite the official claim that she tried to save Catherine, a few sources seem to question the woman and other surviving witnesses of the event.

Caroline Chamberlain
Sasha's grandmother (from her father's line.) A reserved, nosy, Sharlayan scholar. Surprisingly, Caroline has been one of the few mages with their aetherial condition that hasn't died when reaching her forties. Caroline deeply seems to care about continuing her bloodline, often pressuring Sasha to have children 'before she withers and dies'. While not evil, Caroline is very self-interesed, controlling, and selfish. It's not beyond her to take credit for the work of others to further her career as a Scholar in Sharlayan. Despite the fact Caroline suffers from the same aetherial condition as Sasha and her father, she has found a way to circumvent it and extend her own lifespan, however, the method she uses remains unknown to others but herself.

X'elo Maimhov 💕❤★

Sasha's husband. It's rather obvious she is very fond of the bard, to the point she considers him a 'crippling weakness'. Unlike the vast majority of the people she has used in the past, X'elo is someone who can somewhat 'tame' and coax her. It's not very clear how this pair came to be together, to be truthful, people find their partnership almost comically bound for failure. By logic alone, they should hardly be able to tolerate each other, but somewhere along the line between all their adventures, struggles, and loneliness they found each other, and it just works. Despite the fact they seem very close, it hasn't stopped Sasha from hurting, betraying, and throwing him away in the past, leaving the bard heartbroken multiple times. Sasha currently seeks to make atonement for every time she wronged the man, but as guilt plagues her, so does her patience with him.

Stefan Delumiere ❤💔💛♠?

Sasha's former husband (Out of political convenience). When they met, Sasha hired him as a bodyguard and mercenary to carry out her dirty deeds. While he fulfilled his duties, the woman still could never trust him. Their business relationship occasionally evolved into something else, but she didn't give much thought into it until recently, when they reconnected. Nobody knows if they truly love each other, or if it's simply a facade, in fact, Sasha isn't sure about the nature of their relationship herself. One moment they butt heads and bicker like children, the next, it's all sweet words and affection. While the woman does hold fondness for him, she's unwilling to admit it to him or to herself. Her distrust for him is so great in fact, that she questions every single one of his actions and statements, despite the fact that (so far) he hasn't done anything to truly betray her trust. Though they are married, she doesn't seem to expect or care about his commitment to the relationship, giving the man freedom to do as he pleases. Stefan has been missing for many moons, leading Sasha to anull their marriage under the belief he died.

Lorentz Rivers ❤★⚖

A kind, reliable 'knight' she currently has hired as her bodyguard. He seems extremely loyal to her, and has always been found to be a steadfast reliable and protective ally. While Sasha doesn't appreciate the constant poking and prodding with his questions, she does secretly enjoy being fussed over by him when he grows concerned for her safety. Lorentz is likely the first person she'll run to should she encounter danger, though their relationship has grown somewhat complicated and tense. The man seems to have gained a certain 'immunity' towards her lies, and is rather quick to sniff them out. His perceptiveness is something she both loves and hates about him.

One fateful night in Ul'dah, Sasha confused this man with Stefan, simply based off the fact they looked so damned alike. Their interactions started small, with conversations laced with seductive undertones and playful, flirtatious smiles and touches. As they spoke more, Sasha began to form a weakness for this smooth talker. While she doesn't quite trust him, it's obvious he's getting very close, very quickly. When his playfully flirtatious facade fades, she's encountered with a man with fierce determination and a sly, cunning mind. Despite the fact they haven't even kissed, it wouldn't be that unusual for people to mistake them for lovers. Simply hearing them talk might make some people uncomfortable.

A cranky scholar. Though their interactions have been limited, Sasha enjoys conversations with him, as they share a fondness for books and magic. Despite his sarcastic, often rude demeanor, the woman finds him amusing, almost necessary when surrounded by those she deems less competent. Though she likes to act like they were equals, the woman secretly praises and deeply respects the cranky teacher, but it's very unlikely she'll ever admit it. Sasha is aware of the fact that to Gogonji, she must be a mere child. Nonetheless, she seeks and enjoys intellectual debate and discussion with this curious Lalafell.

A pudgy, eccentric alchemist from the Coral Sea. When Sasha first joined the company, she was one of the first people she came in contact with, and ever since, they seem to be growing closer and closer. Sasha deeply enjoys the woman's honesty and blunt logic. A bit of an oddity, but nothing that bothers her. At first glance, they seem like they couldn't be more different, but the closer they grow, the more they seem to find in common. Their activities seem to consist of.... Eating, buying clothes, and talking. While their interactions are simple, they seem to enjoy each other's company.

Dulin Garlin ❤★?

A lalafellin scholar that is hardly ever sober. Much like Gogonji, Sasha saw Dulin as a 'teacher' and greatly respects his advice and intellectual input. Despite his rough, careless demeanor, Dulin has proven to be kind and protective of people around him. Sasha believes there's much underneath the surface, but she hasn't been able to uncover anything yet, and chances are, since it's been over a cycle since she last saw the man, she never will.

A former bodyguard of Sasha's, and while she considered him a 'friend' at one point, his disappearance and her inability to contact him has severed that bond. When they first met, the man saw her as perhaps more trouble than what she was willing to pay, but she dragged him along her adventures anyway. Always stand-offish and strong, he always had a knack for 'intimidating' others, something Sasha greatly appreciated in a bodyguard. It has been over a cycle since they last interacted.

Sasha isn't sure how to feel about the woman. On one hand, she sees her as polite, respectable, and sweet. On the other... She only sees her as polite, respectable, and sweet. There seems to be some kinship between them, but neither seems to want to dig too deep. Right now, they seem to be at a 'comfortable' distance, though there's potential for growth in there.

In public, they appear to be business partners and even friends, little do people know, that D'hio and Sasha's relationship is one stemmed from rivalry, hatred, and unfortunate circumstances. However, they are bound aetherically, and no matter how poor their relationship is, they have accepted that they both have to look out for each other for their own sake. Neither seems to be willing to trust the other, each believing to have a good reason for their judgement. As of late, their relationship went from going from 'terrible' to 'tolerable', and they seem to quickly start taking a liking for each other despite seeing (and often encouraging) their worst behavior.

Due to the amount of problems and issues they both encountered while trying to reconnect, they were unable to reestablish a close relaitonship. A charming masked Mi'qote that she decided to strike-up a conversation with, immediately, she felt drawn by his eloquence and the mystery that seemed to surround him. Velenn is someone she considers very much like herself, which is one of the reasons she initially had a hard time trusting him. However, they grew to become rather close in the light of recent events, mainly because he always stood by her side without being overly-protective of her and always reassured her that he would want to see her grow. Sasha profoundly cares about this man despite how little people seem to trust him. While she was drawn in by the initial mystery and thrill he offered, she stayed for his intelligence, strength, and determination. Since he saved her life in the past, she feels in debt with him and has even grown to love him. Unfortunately, after rescuing her, he never returned, and to this day, his whereabouts are unknown. Unbeknownst to her, the keeper recently found out about her engagement to Stefan, and seems to be plotting some form of revenge.

A loud, obnoxious, yet incredibly useful man. It seems to be like Sashha at one pont cared about the man, but ow she simply finds him immature, insatiable, and even rude. They had a small, fleeting relationship in the past, but it's something she seems to prefer to forget. If they see each other, chances are, they will be either throwing snarky remarks or insults. Their relationship would be delightful if either didn't want the other dead.

A former bodyguard and lover of Sasha. Their relationship soured when she ultimately rejected him for X'elo. Cyril attempted to slander her, even going as fr as attempting to turn her own allies against her when she needed them the most. Though Sasha is unaware of the man's death, she likely wouldn't shed a tear f she were to find out.

Xavalien Oirellain ●♠?

A noble, clever as he is brutal. While Sasha was in a vulnerable state, he physically tortured her and forced her into a contract binding her to his will. She doesn't speak much of their time together, in fact, she doesn't seem to want to. After a few weeks of torture, she managed to break the contract with the help of her closest friends. If she sees Xavalien again, she's very likely to hide, run away, and avoid any contact with him, mostly due to her fear of being trapped again.
