His father taught him to hunt, shooting an arrow at a standstill to bring down large and small game. He is incredibly cowardly in terms of fighting, and is likely to flee at any given signs of trouble, or at least duck behind the current biggest and baddest fighter and half-heatedly cheer them on. As of late, he's showing interest in the Bard class, hoping perhaps to make use of himself.

Recently, after the battle with the U tribe and the Amaal'ja, Rah'na experienced battle for the first time in a true skirmish. He was afraid, nearly badly injured, and ended up fleeing the fight before it was over. Terror pushed him to his limits, and he feels guilt and  self loathing for having run when everyone else was fighting to save each other. He hopes to get better, with Rhesh teaching him the ways of the bard, though his archery is still something to be desired.

Rah'na's singing has greatly improved, with him actually composing songs in his head, and singing for Rhesh'ir on two occasions now, as well as singing once for X'linwh and Tahla'li in private. His singing produces some amount of aether that has a chance to induce mental visions in the listener, however he doesn't quite have the skill to manipulate it the way he desires just yet.

In terms of skill with his bow, Rah'n has improved greatly, becoming more confident and skilled as an archer. He can now effectively shoot several arrows in succession with little missing, and with better power to do damage. This has assisted in him helping Tahla'li with his Leve, and allowed him to actually be of help when hunting.

Rahn'a has been practicing with his bow and arrow, and has excelled at it more and more now that he has obtained a smaller bow. Dawson gifted him with a better string, and now Rahn'a finds his arrows sing true, hitting their targets, and actually doing damage to the beasts he practices on from time to time.

All in all, he seems to be excelling with his weapon.

Rahn'a has taken to practicing Conjury with the hyur Gridanian, Dawson Colwell. The boy seems to be adept with the magics, though he ahs yet to find his strong suit within the array of elements that conjury provides. However, he's shown a knack for healing and has recently obtained his first staff. While his healing is still rather clumsy at best, he is improving with every day, and with it, his confidence grows.

Character

General

A'dria, a lovely male Miqo'te of the Seeker Breed, lived for many years as a Slut and a Prostitute who roamed the streets of Ul'dah, scraping up whatever money he could from his clients. A'dria was something of a familiar face within the Quicksand, hawking his "wares" to those who found interest in him and his wiles.

When young, A'dria was a more effeminate of his native off-shoot Antelope tribe in La Noscea. He wished for more in life, as his father and mother, being the only son of his mother, urged him to become a hunter, and later, strive to be a Nunh. A'dria wished not for this path in life, as he found the touch and caress of the women around him to be facinating only in the manner of increasing his own beauty. Many times, he asked his sisters for help in gathering feathers, beads, and colored pigments to use as makeup and baubles to increase his effeminitiy.

When he was of a mature age, A'dria had his first foray as a prostitute within his home tribe. He lured a merchant man to his home, wherein he was caught by his father some hours later. Disgusted by his son's interacial copulation, he was cast out of the tribe, never to return. Travelling La Noscea, A'dria set up business in Limsa Lominsa, until the Calamity brought things to a screeching halt. Few people had the money or desire to purchase a male prostitute, and A'dria was left to starve on the streets.

A year after the Calamity, A'dria met with a kind man, a Roegadyn from Ul'dah who was travelling on Business. A'dria and the man hit it off very well, with the man promising A'dria freedom and riches in a mysterious, Golden City, known as Ul'dah. The stories captivated the young A'dria, and he was easily swept off his feet and taken to Thanalan.

Sadly, the man, being a brass Blade, was oft gone on many work related things, leaving A'dria alone in his home for seemingly days at a time. Unfortunately, only a year after their coupling, A'dria's lover was struck down by Amal'jaa. Losing his love and his home once more left A'dria to fend for himself upon the streets...

Wrapped in elegant attire, sporting jewels and whatever else he could afford, A'dria strove to make himself as appealing as possible to the rich of Ul'dah, where he made a life for himself as a whore and concubine to many a client and rich merchant.

Gold Between The Sheets

A'dria collected a wide range of clientele, and used the funds he gained to keep himself bathed, fed and above all, appearing as beautiful as possible. For one who roamed the streets, he talks in a very educated manner, seeking to gain the affections of those who show even the slightest interest in him. He is passive to his clients, doing as they say once they've been ensnared in his good looks and silver tongue.

However, even though he bedded many men, he was still left lonely and aching after each time, desiring more than just a little romp in the sheets. Yet, every day, he did it all over again, "working" as he called it, and loving every moment of it.

New Friendships

As of recently, A'dria's presence in Ul'dah has decreased. He's found a large group of friends, stationed in Limsa, who seek to draw him away from his life as a prostitute. However, A'dria was incredibly apprehensive. While he enjoyed the company and touch of his new friends, he still wished to work, feeling he was worth little else than entertainment for those who would pay for him. Three Men, above all else, pulled the hardest to get A'dria on his feet. These Three men hold a special place in A'dria's heart, but even now, he still finds a craving to walk the streets once more.

The Brass Blades

A'dria has a distinct dislike of the brass Blades. Those that swear to act as protectors of Ul'dah seem to be merely no more than bullies to it's citizens. While bullied many times, A'dria never had too bad of a run-in with the "Brassies" as he calls them... until one night.

Travelling home through the pearl lane after a busy night with a client, A'dria was apprehended by four patrolling Blades. His money was confiscated as "contraband", and he was accused of selling and distributing Somnus. These false claims were held against him as he was forced in to a back alley, beaten, and used to their desires. Left for dead, A'dria made it back to a companion's home only ilms from death. The offending Blades were never found, and A'dria has since gained a great and deep hatred and distrust for the Brass Blades.

Appearance

A'dria sports tanned skin, kissed by many days under the Ul'dahn sun, as well as lavender colored hair and fur that stands out brightly against his slightly darkened skin. Slitted eyes of Seafoam green stare out passed his long locks, the lids tinted with violet eye-shadow. His lips are plush and usually painted with a light shade of pink to bring out their look. Standing at a somewhat short height, A'dria is hardly the intimidating sort. His long bushy tail flicks behind him eagerly as he moves, and is almsot always brushing passed legs and thighs of potential clients. His preferred attire is of the Ul'dahn style, usually in royal purples and blues or light violets. Around him seems to always be scents of sweet spices and, to those with a better sense of smell, his own light musk; not overpowering, but enough to tease the senses.

Behavior

Outgoing but never in a dangerous sort of manner, A'dria always is one to step up to potential clients or interesting strangers to strike up a conversation. He's all smiles, purrs and gestures that put the person he is speaking to at the forefront. He's never one to talk much about himself, as he prefers to get people to talk to him about themselves. He enjoys listening, teasing and making others blush with light comments and casual conversation with the occasional flick of his tail, touch of a roaming foot or hand. However, A'dria is sensitive to those who become too uncomfortable, and will stop his advances immediately should the person in question ask him to, or if they show signs of distress. When others are under distress, A'dria seeks to make them as comfortable as possible. He has no end to his desire to be hospitable to those who intrigue him. Though, to those that affront him, A'dria's sharp tongue enjoys playing with those who speak ill against him. While not one to fight, he's prone to shooting fast quips and comebacks with an air of disregard.

Combat

A'dria is by no means a good fighter. In all truth, he would prefer to stay out of physical combat all together. With some training, he can cast some small level spells of Arcane to protect himself, but he is by no means fluent with the geometries in order to easily do this. He also rarely carries a grimoire with him, and by all accounts, should be considered a civilian.

Friends & Acquaintances

Rhesh'ir Zhwan – Rahn'a has grown very fond and close to Rhesh'ir. Moreso than anything, Rahn'a has gained a new-found trust in his leader, and sees him much as another father figure within the group / "Tribe". He cares deeply for Rhesh'ir, and finds comfort in his presence, and aid in his wisdom. He hopes to learn more from Rhesh'ir, and grow closer to him.
Y'lyfriel Sikah – Lyfriel seems to have become more someone that Rahn'a has become closer t. She's become less frightening over the last few sennights, and Rahn'a feels closer to her and little Riel'a. He trusts Lyfriel's judgement, and after much thought, believes she is a stern an trustworthy leader alongside Rhesh'ir.
X'linwh Tia – Rahn'a remembered X'linwh better now, as a goofy, dumb, and yet courageous person who was always trying (yet seemingly failing) to do the right thing. While he misses the dumb lug, he hope that he is happy, wherever he is with his passing.
Seda'li Tayuun – Even after a horrible first impression, Rahn'a and Seda'li's friendship has grown close. So close infact, that the two find it hard to seperate themselves from each other's presence. Rahn'a's heart flutters at the sight of the other keeper, and the two have become Mates. Rahn'a has seen Seda'li falling in to the depths of despair from the pain and burden of his past, but Rahn'a feels that his lover will come through it. He will do anything for Seda'li, and supports him as best he can.
Tahla'li Tayuun – Rahn'a is not sure where he and Tahla'li stand. He knows that Tahli feels some mild resentment in his heart towards him, and fears Tahli's words. However, Rahn'a wishes to make peace with the man he deemed his best friend, and seeks to find a way to speak with him once more... And perhaps bridge the gap that has come between them for so long.
Kodaro Ba'rococo – Kodaro, almost litterally, is Rahn'a's older brother. A strong man in heart, soul and body, Rahn'a has seen Ko at his lowest, and has seen him come up from those experiences stronger than ever. He loves Kodaro deeply, and misses him now that he's gone away to fight in the Bloodsands. He wishes Ko would come back soon, as recent events have left Rahn'a fearful of venturing to Ul'dah alone.
Dawson Colwell – Rahn'a's mentor, teacher, and fast becoming close friend, Dawson is a person that Rahn'a has come to very much admire. After passing on the mantle of mentor to Rahn'a, the boy has felt a sense of duty that he feels he must uphold to make his teacher proud. He worries very much for Dawson's wellbeing after the incident at sea, and he wonders if the man will ever be the same. Regardless, he wants to again sit with him and enjoy a cup of tea and fond conversation.
Onuma Ahntifi – Onuma is very much a big sister to Rahn'a, and he finds her to be a constant in his life now that he doesn't want to be without. In a way, she is part of the family that the tribe has become, a family Rahn'a cherishes dearly. Her recent spats with the group and ultimate heartbreak has made Rahn'a feel helpless, and yet despite that, he took it upon himself to push Onuma forward (quite literally) to mend fences with Lotan'to, her mate.
Lotan'to Jiub – Lotan'to is still very much a D'a figure to the boy, and he enjoys that Lolo treats him as an adult instead of a kit. Regardless, he looks up to Lotan'to very much, and even in times of fear, was relieved to see Lotan'to was there to step up and offer a shoulder or a hand to assist him.
Rinha'li Dhavha – Rahn'a loves his cousin deeply, and would do anything for the skittery keeper. Rinha'li has become braver over the last few moons, but Rahn'a still worries about him. He wonders how a man such as S'aerdha is caring for him, when he seems to care for no one else. Rahn'a wishes to protect Rinha'li, and wants to one day see his cousin step out in to the world without fear, but a smile.
Surilian Blu – Rahn'a recently met up with Suri once again in Ul'dah after hearing her name spoken in the crowd. He spoke with her as she downed a bottle of Rum, and while she seemed sad and distant at first, Rahn'a seemed to bring a smile to her face. He was happy to have done so, as the poor girl seems to have fallen on hard times. He hopes she can pull herself out of whatever is ailing her, and smile more once again.
Chesh'ir Lihzeh – Chesh'ir seems to have disappeared from Rahn'a's life. Strangely enough, he's not spoken of Chesh'ir, nor does he seem to care any longer....
U'dahsh'a Nunh – Rahn'a doesn't have much to think about U'dash'a. He's not around as much, and Rahn'a seems to forget from time to time that this man can be around. Perhaps they will talk again, soon.
Pipituu Kipichuu – Rah'na has only has passing moments with this Lalafel and his partner, Miji. The most prominent being an incident during the Starlight Celebration, wherein he and Tahla'li fell out of a large, decorated tree, startling the Lalafels, but overall making a happy acquaintance with them both. Rah'na finds them kind and interesting, and wishes to know more about the couple.
Mijisaa Qisaa – Rah'na met Miji, along with Pipituu during the Starlight Celebration. Both have piqued his interest, though he knows little to nothing about them. She is a strange one, as her mood seemed to shift once they left Ul'dah. He's not sure what to think of her, and is glad to be out of her employ, for now.
F'ivahl Tia – Rah'na met this impressive Seeker in the Quicksand of Ul'dah, and found him to be an interesting and exotic sort of individual. His strength and knowledge as well as good company kept Rah'na at ease at times of loneliness. Rah'na has come to trust F'ivahl more as they've spoken in private, finding him one of the FEW seekers willing to sit down and listen. He's a wild animal in a way, and Rah found it a touch unsettling at first. But with their talks and sharing of company, Rah'na has found him to be a good friend and shoulder to lean on. Plus, F'i's mate is cute as a button.
Oliwat Kokiwat – Rahn'a has all but forgotten this strange person. He truly cares not for him anyroad.
Oriel Durand - Rahn'a considers Oriel a good friend. While he's not seen the older male around as much, he still finds time to think fondly on him. Oriel has done much for the company, though he seems to quite often throw himself in to his work. Rahn'a worries for him, and hope he is doing well.
L'mila Lania - This miqo'te woman has Rah'na on edge more than not. He only met her a few days ago, and already she's causing his hair to turn as grey as his skin. However, the last few meetings have become less stressful, as L'mila has begun to learn and understand boundaries. Rah feels guilty for being scared of her, and perhaps hopes to make amends to be her friend in full. She is still young and inexperienced, but she is like Rah'na in this way. Perhaps they both will be able to grow up some and gain experience before meeting once more.
Erimmont Leguard - While he dislikes most Elezen, Rah'na shows some respect towards Erimont. He assisted in helping Rhesh with his Trial, and eased the burden upon the others with his words of help. He may seem a touch cold and heartless, but Rah shared some time with him to talk, and found him, while secretive, to be tolerant. If only he wasn't so friggin' tall. But hells, perhaps it's a good thing. Something to climb on.
Solelle Frilaix - A mysterious Elezen woman whom Rahn'a had encountered with his Cousin. She seems to know about his tribe, and while this is disconcerting to him, it's also a relief. She spoke to him of his tribe, confirming that they were alive and well, which seemed to Ease Rahn'a on the group's trip in to Coerthas. He still doesn't know anything about Solelle, and still feels uneasy with her following him, even under the pretense of protecting him. However, she's not done anything to warrant his ire, and so he allows her to do as she wishes.
Ralamano Nulumano - Ralamano has become a steadfast ally to Rahn'a during their mission out to the jungles of La Noscea. Rahn'a respects the Lalafel very much, finding him knowledgeable as well as a competent mage and strategist. Ralamano is honestly quite hard to question, as his reason is usually quite sound. Rahn'a sees him as a grand and respectable Ally.
Adalhaid Rask - This shy girl is someone Rahn'a honestly doesn't care about. She makes no effort to be noticed, and the Kit mostly ignores her quiet, soft spoken words for the most part. he's got better things to do, like find laps to lay in.
Rei Mei - Rahn'a met this girl briefly in Limsa, along, sort of, with her "guardian", a rather Racist Hyur who called Rahn'a and his kin "Things" and "Mongrals". The girl seemed interested and curious in Rah's qiqirn toy, but when he attempted to befriend the other miqo'te, her guardian pulled her away without warning, leaving Rhan'a wondering if he had done something wrong.
X'Yue Tia - Rahn'a met this seeker very recently on his trip back to Ul'dah with Kodaro. For the msot part, he seems rather reserved and bored or perhaps even uncaring with the goings on of Ul'dah. He offered Rahn'a protection after a friend of X'yue's mentioned a murderer running about, which seemed to ease the boy's fear. He also made mention of his like of the Beach, gaining Rahn'a's interest for a short while. All in all, Rahn'a finds him a touch strange and reserved, but he's willing to learn more.
Garrett Slater - Along with X'yue, Garrett was the other person Rahn'a ran in to while on his return trip to Ul'dah. The Hyur seemed very curious of the boy, and overall a kind soul that Rahn'a found interesting. He seemed concerned for Rah's well being, perhaps because of his young age and curious ways. When he cautioned Rahn'a on going outside the city due to a murderer killing travelers, he effectively terrified Rahn'a for the night, and felt horrible about it. Rahn'a likes him however, but doesn't know him very well quiet yet.
S'aerdha Tia - S'aerdha has effectively set himself on Rahn'a's "Shit List". After the seeker spoke up so brazenly at a company feast about Seda'li's proposal for Rahn'a's hand, the boy has seen S'aerdha now as incredibly unsavory. He can tolerate the man for only so long, and finds himself becoming angry in the coy man's presence.
Lynn'e Sparrow - A vagabond of keeper heritage, Lynn'e is an oddball keeper male that Rahn'a finds a bit odd and standoffish. After a bitter fight and rivalry, Rahn'a and Lynn'wo have settled their differences and become friends once more.
Sighard Albrecht - This ishgardian Hyur is something of a stranger to Rhan'a. Having only met recently after a freak accident with his first use of conjury, Singhard seems to be surprisingly upbeat and confident for one who's wrestled with dragons most of his life. Rah hopes to learn more of him.

Enemies & Rivals

Raging Sun - Rahn'a -greatly- dislikes this woman, and honestly WOULD have chucked that snowball at her if Rinha'li hadn't interrupted him. He finds her presences abhorrent, arrogant, loud and unneeded. He doesn't care what her damage is, he'd rather she go scream in to a flagon in Ul'dah, away from the tribe.
That Mushroom in Chesh'ir's Cabinet - That fucker owes Rahn'a some of his life back. It tasted nice, but what came back up, not so much.

History/Timeline

Rah'na left his home of Gridania about a Fortnight before reaching the Thalanan. He became lost after an Ixali attack which pushed him from the shroud and in to incredibly unfamiliar territory. Here he met with X'linwh, who saved him from a pack of mongrels, and then introduced him to his company in Drybone.

The company left Drybone, persueing their interest to go to Ul'dah for a time. During the trek, they were ambushed by desert dwelling Miqo'te who turned out to not only be X'linwh's tribe, but also tempered by the primal, Ifrit. Rah'na didn't have any participation in the slaughter of Lin's tribe, and is mostly oblivious to the details that came from it.

After spending time in Ul'dah, Rah'na has become a bit more uneasy with his skills as an archer. After assisting the U tribe in forgotten springs, and almost being killed, Rah'na has lost much confidence in himself, and while he still wishes to pursue his desire of becoming a bard, he's very much unsure of himself after the incident.

UPDATE, 3/2/2014:

The company has decided to move on to Gridania. After a grueling and stressful few weeks in Ul'dah, Rahn'a is happy to be moving on to his home city. He's been depressed and sad as of late, with his affection towards a member of the group being denied. He's been left feeling useless, unwanted, and overall a broken-hearted kitty. The trip to Gridania was no better, and when they arrived, was made worse by the disappearance of his tribe. Left with no one but his Cousin, Rahn'a will continue with the group to Coerthas, but has much of a desire to stay in Gridania and search for his tribe.

UPDATE, 3/11/2014

Arriving in Coerthas, Rahn'a has been poisoned by an unknown hand. He was kept within the Observatory by his team mates. Others went off to perform various tasks and missions, leaving him to recover. However... Within the darkness of Stone Vigil, a close friend of his was killed.. Rahn'a must now deal and cope with the loss, as his whole group must now do.

UPDATE, 4/7/2014

Rahn'a and the others returned to Ul'dah. In the wake of the death of their friend, X'linwh, the group mus now come to terms and cope with the loss. Rahn'a most of all, seems to have grown up a bit, and matured a small bit since they had returned. However, at times, bouts of depression hit him, and he begins to doubt himself. He desperately wishes to go on to Limsa Lominsa, perhaps to be rid of the memories the Jewel of the Desert holds for him.

UPDATE, 4/13/2015

Rahn'a and the company have come to Limsa, where they have set up a home for themselves as the 81st Legion under the Maelstrom. They are active adventurers, and seek to better the world. Rahn'a has found a mate, and has excelled in the art of healing with conjury through the teachings of Dawson. However, certain uprisings with the group have left him shaken, and even more disturbing encounters with voidsent and left the youth scared and feeling pathetic and useless. He tries hsi best, but finds himself growing ever distant from his company family.
